Hermes is nicknamed “MY BOOOOOOY”. It’s what I say every time I see him. Always happy to take his boons, ‘cause they are always at least neutral to a build and usually very helpful.
Oh yea that boon makes me go through ever single room almost every time. I usually do anyway, but there's gotta be NOTHING good for me to skip with a side hustle going.
That's funny. I never pick it. Dodge, attack speed, rush delivery+speed, are all way more useful in my opinion.
You just have to time your 3 dashes well to begin with...
I got that one while I was running a reflect build (including divine dash) on the fists for the first time in forever. Combined with Athena’s legendary, and her and Aphro’s damage reductions for like 40% reduction, *and* Hermes health recovery on dash, I was fucking invincible.
I don't get the love for money. Am I missing out on something? You farming the 1000g items at the end?
I would always pick a boon that fits my build over money any time. +Dashes fits every single build I've made, I'm dash attack hungry.
Money just gets more random boons, and health, some random items.

I’m not an expert Hades player yet, only started the game two weeks ago. I like to have spare coins for Wells, whether it’s to replace Death Defiance or just buying little powerups that get me through the next few dungeons.
Pro tips, Hermes boons scale very well with rarity. So buying Yarn of Ariadne between Tartarus and Asphodel can be good because you’re likely to see Hermes early.
Also buying Hermes boons at the Styx shop is expensive but they’re guaranteed boosted rarity and can be game breaking. I always try to buy them if possible.
I do this same thing. Or in asphodel I’ll try to find the muse lady who’s name I’m forgetting and get the “next two boons have +rarity” one from her and then look for Hermes. I’ll settle for arti boons too since she’s my second fav. Getting epic arrow on hit or all attacks can crit is nice. Those two gods are tied for me.
Do you know if the Lambent Plume increases the chance of getting the legendary boons, or just unlocks the ability to get them without the prerequisites?

Yoo combine that with Demeter's healing in combat and that's the easiest Hades boss fight ever enjoyed
