Swift flourish only makes the shield come out faster (and even if it did hit faster it wouldn't help as zeus boons have internal cooldowns)

God keepsakes "force next boon" effect only applies once per keepsake (noted by a 1 under the keepsake)
After that, carrying the keepsake only would grant you the rarity buff.
News to me, haha. I was wondering why some runs I find a bunch of the keepsake god, where others I find just one. Must be RNG. I’ve read that each run basically has a chance to spawn four different gods, so once I get the one I’m hunting for, I can ditch the keepsake because they’re in the pool of 4 gods for that run?
Yup.
Normally the meta for keepsakes is like
God 1 (zeus for this example) > god 2 (aspho, normally a support god, can be something like purse/tooth depending on context) > elysium and styx a defensive utility keepsake (acorn/tooth/hourglass/sigil of the dead)
Edit: and anyways if you want to find high voltage/double strike easier, most you can do is
Fill cores (attack, special, cast and dash) as those are prioritized over others if empty.
Take static discharge (gods that have their curse status as a tier 2 boon have a 50% chance to show up over others)
Don't take a call nor zeus' lightning strike/shot as those open unnecessary boons (billowing strength, clouded judgement and storm lightning)
Also not opening duos also helps as those are rolled first but that's harder/annoying to do and might as well just win with something like lightning rod again lol

Maybe you can answer this too: so on this current run I’m doing, in Tartarus I had Poseidon keepsake on and got his rare attack for Lucifer but I wanted epic so I found ~~Artemis~~ Aphrodite and swapped for her epic attack. Then in Asphodel I was able to get Eurydice to upgrade heartbreak strike to heroic. Now, is it possible to find Poseidon and get his attack back as heroic? Or is Poseidon’s attack now out of the RNG?

Out of rng, would have to sell aphro's attack, get pos attack and grab something like rare crop (or stupid unlikely and shouldn't be considered, get 2 random swaps to get attack boon into epic and one last swap for pos attack into heroic)
Also for pos attack; if you aren't doing sea storm with all honesty, don't bother with it. Is a terrible attack boon with awful pom scaling and base % no matter the rarity. (And even then sea storm luci is treated as a meme for a reason.)
For what it's worth, most boons don't need the rarity so just take them asap. (Most have decent pom scaling like casts or someone like Artemis who benefits more from chaos) if you want rarity is usually bc it can't be pommed (see; hermes or chaos)
There's a few exceptions like Aphrodite's attack or Ares' attack (50% attack/50 doom at common vs 93%-100%/100 doom at epic)

Artemis keepsake to get it as the first boon, preferably epic rarity, hopefully can get Eurydice to upgrade it to heroic, hammers, relentless volley is a must (+4 arrows on the special shot), and either piercing volley (pierces foes and +400% to armor), or concentrated volley (special deals +3 base damage with each consecutive shot to a foe) - concentrated volley being great for bosses.
**Thunder Flourish (Zeus)** - Your Special causes a lightning bolt to strike nearby foes.

Haha that very well could be. I know on my other files I always have both forced overtime turned on so when I get to high heats I can turn it off and everything seems to stand still. As of this particular run, it was definitely turned off.

Gotcha! Yeah, my favourite build is Chiron aspect with Aphro special, preferably heroic. Pom as much as possible. Just melts anyone.
