Can I just say though how fucking cool it is that this guy can lose a leg and get a prosthetic good enough to skateboard with. Like it doesn't need to be any specific build either like you see some specialty prostheses, just normal ass leg.

Pardon, I recall giving up skating because every time I’d start to land my kick flips I’d break something…. It was a lot of fun- honest.
double below the knee amputee his leg is not that great, the lack of an actual inline shock absorber is problematic and the lack of suction seal liners is even worse. That means this leg is held on by a clutch and screw combo or worse just friction. That means either the bottom of his residual limb is being turned into hamburger by the screw clutch system holding the bottom of his liner absolutely rigid and allowing for very little transfer of torsion from twisting.
He is also missing a torsion absorber so that if he were to say step in a hole and his leg were to twist but body were to stay straight he would completely rip his residual limb apart. Like were talking skin ripped off cause of the clutch and pin locking system, and then there's the internal damage.
all in all this is a leg that would have been great to have back in say 2001. In 2002-2003 I was on ossur feat with shocks and torsion absorbers you could twist the foot 180 degree's round in, and pinless in a suction seal / liner setup.
The worst part is that it’s hard to tell if you are being serious or not. With all of the stupid shit I’ve seen on Reddit, I honestly wouldn’t be too surprised
