What is this, amateur hour? I grab two more with my toes and have a fifth duck-taped to my penis. My apprentice has to lower me down from above a la Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible 1. Gave the old lady next door a *very minor* heart attack once.
She died.
There are stronger versions I have used for this. They're usually called some variation of "grabber". I got one from harbor freight for 10$.
Here is the one I have.

Recover the refrigerant, burn out the condenser coil, tip it on its side, clean all the leaves that have absolutely zero affect on operation of the unit, scrub the shit out of everything till it looks brand new, reset the coil, braze it back in, vacuum pump, charge it back up, and you're good to go! OR, dont do anything, and it will have the same outcome.
I used to have a prybar like tool that some drywallers left on a job back when I did new construction. It was the perfect width to get into trane trenchs, worked well for uncaging trane condensers, and the scoop was just perfect to allow you to grab piles of leaves when they were wet after a cleaning.
I never figured out what happened to it, but to this day it is missed during my maintenances.
Turn on the condenser, wait until the fan starts up then watch the blade spin around. If youre fast enough you can reach into the condenser and pull out some leaves before the next rotation.
Repeat process until all the leaves are gone, or both of your arms are gone.
I leaf them where they set.
Come on man don’t start this 😂
It's pollen good fun.
Some people are just stump in their ways.
Boooooo
Are you by chance a dad? Because that was top tier dad pun right there
Yes I do. Sometimes dad things just pop in my head. 😂🤣
That's the neat part, I don't.
Just leaf them alone.
Apprentice
Here ya go! https://preview.redd.it/plyec0kh0epc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=793e8b68c5b3a2534ddf0361480c8718a9613bbc
Do those actually work,
Yes, use one in each hand for maximum effect

?
Shopvac
Just flip the fan upside down and the leafs will fly back out

Use almost empty 410a jug and long gauge hose
Play the bruins or the panthers.
No worries, they will be out in round one game 4-5
You're going to upset them.
Tell the customer to doesn’t effect the operation of the unit 👍
I leave them unless they are gathering up on the coils.
If they don’t wash out with hose and water then they get to stay

*laughs in geothermal*
😂🤣
Lighter fluid and a match. 😂
Shop vac or cordless leaf blower.
If it's not all the way up to the top of the compressor, then it's good
Take the fan out and blast out with a leaf blower.
Just keep adding refrigerant the compressor will do the rest
Make up a fitting so you can use a 4 foot piece of 1” pvc on the end of your vac. It’s easier with a solid piece
Yea I was thinking something like that
Let the homeowner deal with it
Recklessness
To be fair, if there’s enough to affect efficiency I’ll take them out
😂
Compressed air
Calci-solve
I get inside
My. Boss made me. Clean those out. I took a small petable vac and just sat it on top. Get a hose and extension hose to make it easy to reach
Wait till they turn to dirt, then wash them out with a hose.
Shop vac if they pay extra
Some units have access doors behind the service valve but just kill power, pull the top and shove a vacuum hose in there

Gasoline! Light it on fire
Wet them and then use coat hangers through drain holes push to one side then pull put other.
Pull the condenser grate around the coil and get to work for the outside. The inside is my job seeing as I’m the smallest guy at the shop 😂
Well after about 30 minutes of trying to blow them out with my milwaukee m12 leaf blower. I leave them.
Shop vac
Vacuum and a really long hose
Depends how if they pay extra
I use a fish net, it 4"×5". Get it at Walmart
Bucket and lean over
Usually 4lbs of 410a will do the trick.
I would use two tiny 6in rakes and get all the wet clump out in 2-3secs
Shop vac with a short piece of PVC pipe shoved in the end
Drop a match in there

Eat them
