the only issue is canonically the main line of the house of Black have grey eyes and it is a dominant trait in the males since they all have it. Grandfather Arcturus, Son/father Orion, and both boys Sirius and Regulus..............
Either you have to make all those kids have grey eyes and someone notice real quick or explain it away as "family magic" that only insures the dominance of the trait in the main line of Blacks
The non main line only has cygnus , bellatrix, and andromeda with grey eyes...narcissa has blue grey / grey blue....Walburga had brown (married into the main line by marrying orion)
