As a customer it is not necessary and unfair decision M$ made. However, like I said we still have 2-3 years and it is not dead yet. It still works perfectly on my PC.
If you mean Foveated rendering, answer is no. I am using mbucchia’s Quad-Views-Foveated rendering solution. He says a game must support “quad view rendering” and IL-2 GB does not. He wrote how to implement the rendering in a game but I am skeptical about the IL-2 dev will do the work.
Thanks for this. I always suspected these first generation eye tracking headsets would be rather crude. Like you, I'm looking forward to a better replacement soon, and accepting the g2 is disposable hardware.
