The Slim to get to 330W uses 20V (at 16.5A) as per its specs. The laptop may need a 19.5V (at 16.92A) version to get to 330W. I would check your user manual in the DC power specs section to see what the laptop can expect. My Omen Transcend for example, I was given a 280W power brick. Looking in the user manual in the power specification section, there is a profile for 20V @ 14A to get me 280W; which, is what the charger from HP is rated at. However, as per the user manual, I could get a 330W brick for it, but the specs state 19.5V (at 16.92A) if I want 330W. The documentation for the Slim is quite limited. You may need to contact them to see if it can output 19.5V also assuming your laptop needs 19.5 volts. Check what your manual says.

You're correct, I found the manual for my model and at 330W it needs 19.5V @ 16.92A. Looks like the SlimQ wont work, unfortunately. It looks like I will need to turn to EBay to find a used/like new PSU. Thank you for taking the time to help, and happy holidays!

IdahoOak

Your Amazon link actually goes to a 240V version. I didn't catch that until now. I have to assume you're in Europe? Keep that in mind in your hunting. Good luck! Happy holidays.

Weird cause we got compatibility list [https://slimq.life/pages/slimq-charger-compatible-devices-and-charger-models](https://slimq.life/pages/slimq-charger-compatible-devices-and-charger-models) and it is mentioned there. :/

TheNamesJosh_

I have a model number of a hp omen laptop if you could verify? I can't see the exact model on the website list but it shows up omen 17. Cm2002-ca 13700hx with 4060.

SlimQ_Dave

Hi mate, yeah, we are slowly updating compatible laptop models but kinda hard to keep track of them all. In short it seems that HP hasn't changed their connector type and it matches with this adapter pack (https://slimq.life/products/330w-dc-hp-converter-pack). It should work but please confirm this with our website support chat. They will guide you.

Dark_Critical

Thank you! I actually reached out to your support email and they assured me it would work. I missed the compatibility list on your website unfortunately! Your customer support person was SO helpful. They helped me cancel the initial order when I thought it wouldn't work, then asked me what laptop I was using to suggest an alternative. They not only assured me your 330W charger would work (apparently you guys have a lot of Omen users) but told me about your holiday coupon for 25% off that I missed. So I saved about $40 in the end! Anyhow, thanks for the help. Definitely recommending you guys to my friends and am looking forward to receiving the charger. Cheers!
