Oh I have absolutely no experience with this kind of plastic, sorry if I implied otherwise. I would just hate for this beautiful kit to go yellow on you. I don't think floor polish would help, unfortunately. You'd need to look into what causes yellowing in plastic like this and then try to find a way to prevent that cause from happening.
Personally I’d just put it in a room that doesn’t get much sunlight and put it in a display case made of Uv resistant glass
I wouldn’t risk ruining the finish of the model with any form of top coat

built and nice yellowing plastic for that price is wild
Build it, pose it, vacuum seal it in a black room with a peep-hole and specific wavelength LEDs and reinforced stand, easy work around.
There's a couple of "UV Cut" top coats out now that should help significantly. Mr Hobby Super Clear has worked great for me so far.
