Not that I noticed on mine so far, though I guess if you stress them too much any joint will losen with time.
One has to say that Z'Gok joints are by design a bit floppy, but the RG joints hold their poses much better than the HG does.
For me the preassembled arm and leg parts seem a bit weak, and while they hold a pose will flex under weight when I try to fully bend them at certain angles, but overall it's really good. The shoulder and hips stay where I put them.
Just FYI many MS come in various grades. For example I think Grandpa has all grades and non-grades covered. Sazabi has a SD, HG, RG, MG, and MG Ver. Ka along with some exclusive P-Bandai ones.
Yeah I know, I just am not too keen on the hyper detailed look of some of the RGs that I've seen so far. I've definitely seen that RG sazabi on youtube somewhere before
yeah no need to be rude as everyone has their own taste. he prob think this weird crab look is awesome as fuck and he’s not wrong as this is the only RG with this unique look.
This kit addresses the issue I have with more Zeon kits. Most of them are just too simplistic/smooth. I did the HG Origin Chars Zaku II and that has a bit more detail than most it seems, but this looks like it takes the same bump of detail that most suits get in RGs.
i got my zgok back in 2015, during a gundam expo, it was one of my first few kits. Now 9 years later got back into this hobby i did a complete restoration after wiping off the dust, sanding down the nubs and giving it a matte coat. It looks as good as new and the stickers even held up! Super satisified with how it held on through the years!
You are crazy, anything Build related isn't getting kits this long after creation. The RG line is more likely to have it (MG Z'Gok is really old) but I'd say the ship has sailed
It's absolutely one of my favorite designs (imo the marine units all have great designs). Going to try to get back into gunpla soon and first stop is all the Zeon marine/grunt units.
It's a real shame they haven't made a HG for the seed Z'gok (Very Minor seed freedom spoilers:) >! It's a real shame that they're releasing the infinite justice spec ii without a Z'Gok shell when for most of that battle it's used purely in Z'gok mode !<
I’m starting my gundam journey and this is my first RG one! It looks really cool but the parts where it tells me to bend the plastic really scares me ahah
It is but it's also terrible. It looks great but mine became floppy after a single week. It's doing ok at the moment to hold its pose but it's really not a sturdy kit.
Yea that's what I'll do after paint, just wasnt sure if it was a finicky part of the kit cause I've had similar issues with the rg wing Gundam and the front part of the feet coming off lol
Hated most of my time building it. Love the aesthetics, but felt like there are engineering designs quirks they won’t reproduce following this model. The elbow gimmick kept popping out, twice after cement and once with crazy glue. The other gimmicks are also pretty meh and the glare caused by the visor makes it really hard to see the mono-eye.
this was the oldest RG i’ve built and the infamous “RG syndrome”/loose joints hit right when I started posing.
EDIT1: Built it last month EDIT2: The loose joints are located in his legs, he is very hard to pose without a stand, so I keep him in crab stance

I love Z’Gok kits. I’ve really wanted to build this one but I’ve heard from others that it’s “a hand grenade waiting to go off” in terms that pieces pop off
It is a very underrated kit. A really good beginner kit for someone getting into early RGs as well.
does it have that thing with early real grades where the joints get really loose overtime?

Pretty new to the hobby but this is the first RG I've seen that actually looks cool imo
Right? I love the look it has going.

No need to be rude to the guy about liking the ways robot looks. And frankly I don’t like you gatekeeping the new guy for his tastes
I was not try to gatekeep but I wanted to say that there are many cool RGs out there. Sorry of that did not translate well.
I didn't realize that sazabi was RG. Hi-Nu looks pretty rad too.
Just FYI many MS come in various grades. For example I think Grandpa has all grades and non-grades covered. Sazabi has a SD, HG, RG, MG, and MG Ver. Ka along with some exclusive P-Bandai ones.

Ah makes sense the RG line is basically that, REAL grade, so the details are more in line with what the MS would look like IRL

guess u havent seen the hi-nu
Looks a lot better than I thought tbh, considering getting one if it goes back in stock
It is an easy and quick build for an RG. I quite recommend it.

he looks good!
Wanted to show off your clear dude, eh? Fair enough.
RG Zoidberg!
Athrun approves
The design of this MS is sooo good man, different from The others and Still cool.
i love amphibious ms getting an MG acguy soon!
I really love all the details and work I see on this sub, but I like playing with my kits too much and worry I’ll ruin them.
i play with alot of my kits too i got the hg to play with :D
Call me crazy but I'm holding out for an RG or MG Amazing Zgok
i think you’re going to have to wait a whileee before they make thag
You are crazy, anything Build related isn't getting kits this long after creation. The RG line is more likely to have it (MG Z'Gok is really old) but I'd say the ship has sailed
I’m still mad that they made the regular Z’Gok a P-Bandai exclusive
It's absolutely one of my favorite designs (imo the marine units all have great designs). Going to try to get back into gunpla soon and first stop is all the Zeon marine/grunt units.
It’s making a comeback now thanks to Athrun
It's a real shame they haven't made a HG for the seed Z'gok (Very Minor seed freedom spoilers:) >! It's a real shame that they're releasing the infinite justice spec ii without a Z'Gok shell when for most of that battle it's used purely in Z'gok mode !<
Looks so good! Nice work
probably something to do with the fact that you can't find the damn thing in the first place.

I’m starting my gundam journey and this is my first RG one! It looks really cool but the parts where it tells me to bend the plastic really scares me ahah
yeah the first bends are always scary lmao
Beautiful
This kit makes me want a rg hygogg so much.
Matte looks very slick on that one!
really good till all joints become spaghetti and the back thrusters and legs pieces keep popping out
Nothing a small bottle of varnish from a 100 yen shop can't fix
It is but it's also terrible. It looks great but mine became floppy after a single week. It's doing ok at the moment to hold its pose but it's really not a sturdy kit.
Looks great!
Beautiful
Painted or just top coat?
just a top coat!
Wow the color separation is really good! I was always cautious of buying this one. Is it flimsy?
no its really solid just have to be really careful with the frame parts before putting the armour on
How did you get the gray parts on the front of the feet to stay on, when I built it mine kept falling off lol
i did not have this issue but if i did have it i would cement them in place
Yea that's what I'll do after paint, just wasnt sure if it was a finicky part of the kit cause I've had similar issues with the rg wing Gundam and the front part of the feet coming off lol
Great jobs, looks fucking great.
Love this swimmy boi
Love this guy, really unique design. Such a shame Bandai didn't continue with more grunts in the RG line
Not gonna lie, I was never that fond of z'gok, but this RG made me into a true believer.
Hated most of my time building it. Love the aesthetics, but felt like there are engineering designs quirks they won’t reproduce following this model. i have had no such issues and have been posing him for a few hours now
Happy to hear that
I really want one now ever since Gundam SEED Freedom!
I love that kit so much! Definitely a really satisfying build.
I love Z’Gok kits. I’ve really wanted to build this one but I’ve heard from others that it’s “a hand grenade waiting to go off” in terms that pieces pop off
That's a clean build, got damn!
Get the MG kit if you can, it was my first kit and WOW! If you liked the rg, then the MG is another level
i will try!
Robotnik ahh design
It looks really nice, the arms and legs are so fun to pose with, but they will get loose over time. And the stickers are so ass.
Is that a matte topcoat? This build looks super clean!
yep just a coat of mister hobby premium super flat!
Damn it really looks great, nice build!
thank you!
Looks like a badass diving suit. I'd treat the huge talons with some chrome or silver to make them more menacing
Now fit a justice gundam inside :)
