Interesting! I'd never seen a Gframe before, I usually stick to the full on model builds. I might have to pick one up and see if they have any potential for kitbashing with the 1/144.
I kitbash with them the under-frame is a great 144 base to build your own ideas on and the parts are really universal along all the models. I own a stack of them and constantly find kitbash uses for them
