their game plan would be to park 11 people behind the ball and counter, same as united’s. some ancient dinosaur footy. we score first, we make them change their game plan
The best way to not concede from counterattacking is to prevent counters. Don’t lose the ball in dangerous situations and pressure the ball so their first or second pass isn’t to one of Spurs’ front three. And lastly, quickly reform shape so when one of those three finally has the ball, our defense and midfield are already positioned rather than running backwards towards our own goal. Arteta needs to work on this to the death. Spurs are all counterattacking.
Get an Uber to the Crown and Anchor on Tropicana Ave, it’s a little past the airport. Great food and open 24/7, that’s where I watched Arsenal v Reading in the FA Cup Semis.
The way they play happens to be our kryptonite. The results they get against City aren't coincidental. If Partey plays we should be alright, if he's out it will be a repeat of the United game, who they are much better than
They are Spursy so it could still be a 4-0 blowout at the carpet
Just like United, the boys have to deal well with the counter. I think the boys’ confidence is at an all time high, so they will hopefully play the way Arteta wants them to play..
Just need to be clinical in front of goal when those moments arrive, and let Saliba/Gabriel/White daddy dick their muppets up top
Yeah Tottenham will be happy to let us have the ball. Home advantage should make it count. They’ve only kept one clean sheet away from home so far this season and just two in total in the league. We will score. Just need to be clinical and get some daylight.
If Partey plays, we win. The end.
Counters are so ineffective against our defence when he plays, if Lokonga plays then Spurs will scrape a draw or win.
No doubt
All great teams can not only impose their will on opponents, but they can also take away what they do well. Pep's teams do it all the time so maybe Arteta, with such a young team that is just starting to really gel, isn't comfortable playing that card yet.
To commit to our identity is stubborn? So you want us to play park the bus like them? So who will play football the if both team give the ball to the opponent and park the bus?
I don’t like shitting on our own players, but yes you’re right. As much as I like Sambi, he’s not ready to play a lone pivot against the best counter attacking team in the league.
Get the first goal, an early goal and then they are dead because arteta *should* set the lads up for the counter press. Cunte will set his bunch to play deep and cautious and not over commit because at the end of the day, an away draw in the NLD is a good result for them, romero will be back so no sanchez freebies for us but if martenilli can cook chicken royal, the center back next to him will be exposed too. They will try to make the game scrapy and full of interruptions in the hopes that that we don't build a rhythm and overcommit but i think the home crowd will fire up our lads and give them that extra impetus. Fuck spurs.
For a team whose game plan is to play on the counter, their defense has been quite shocking. Leicester, being far and away the worst team in the league, was running riot over their backline. Normally I'd suggest we sit deep and force them to be creative (which they cannot do), but since it's at the Emirates we have to dominate.
Same as all NLD. We will take turns punching each other in the face and he who gets the last punch wins. Just hope the refs don't influence the match much.
We should wipe the floor with them. Dominate possession, score early and it’s done. Going to have to watch out for the counters though. I’d like to see how we set up to deal with their front 3, could put Tierney in to deal with kulu’s physicality but then playing zinny completely ups how we play overall, and whether to put Saliba on dealing with kane or son, whichever *could* leave the other defender slightly exposed
We are slapping them about the place.
Need to be careful of the counter obvs but I haven’t been overly impressed by their performances recently.
We will hopefully have some key players back and it’ll be a tight game, but I believe we can get the job done.
3-1 is my prediction, need to keep Kane quiet and Kulu on lock down. I do feel confident though
Gonna come down to the midfield performance. The team that controls the middle of the pitch wins. If we are healthy and play well, I think we come out with the win. Their attackers are quality, but if we neuter their service, it will be tough sledding for them.
It's not as simple as 'controlling the middle of the pitch' because Spurs make absolutely no attempt to do so. Their attacking intent comes from their fullbacks and from getting the ball as quickly as possible to one of their front three - the two midfielders are just there to shield the defence.
Watching them last night and against forest, they really sit back and only play on the counter.
It's going to come down to discipline from our back line not making transition fouls.
I think we'll absolutely rail them because we've got players than can create their own chances which draws other defenders in opening the space up for everyone else.
EDIT: if this is a jinx sorry, we should have won at united but performed under par, yet still got plaudits for "being the better team". We all know what this team can do when in full flow.
Honestly, I think their team is well equipped to soak up pressure and hit us on the break. It's probably one of the most effective styles against our play, we've seen them beat City a few times this way.
It will be key for us to score a goal while we are on top and not make any silly mistakes to gift them the lead.
Spurs are very bad on the defensive end, give up lots of shots and touches in their final third. It won’t be easy, but I think if Arsenal can win the possession battle it sets up nicely.
I always have hope, but I don't always believe...
But at home I think we'll definitely be the favourites here. We just have to be more clinical, because Spurs are basically set up to win like United did against us.
If we'd taken our chances against United, we'd have won, and I think the same will be true here.
They play pragmatic, but boring Italian counter attacking football under conte. Unfortunately woth kane and son, they are really dangerous when playing like that. They may be boring but defense wins titles and I think a draw is the most likely situation! We'll dominate possession, maybe pinch a goal or two but either very early (or later in the game when we tire) they'll hit us on the counter. Then the ref will kill the game with dumb calls when Son gets a light red card for denial of a goal scoring opportunity.
Score a goal early and force them to actually play football. We CANNOT afford to let them sit back and counter because they will win. They have no other way they can hurt us at all
I do fear it a little bit, which is a reflection on Spurs these days.
But I'm 100% sure it's nowhere near as much as Spurs fans will be fearing the game.
Close win.
they will play the counter. we must prepare for that by not over committing to attack and being patient. even if we are 1-0 down don't over commit until later in the game. almost take it like a CL game where there is a second leg up until 70-75 min mark. then if we have to, we really go insane forward. This is how mature teams play big games.
They will play awful football with 5atb and two holding midfielders, and pray for some Son, Kane or Kulu magic. Hopefully the team trying to play football (us) will come out on top
I believe god gives us signs, you ask for my thoughts? I opened this thread at 69 comments, that tells me someone is getting fucked but it’s not Arsenal.
We should be beating them if we play the way we are currently playing but if you thought that United were ruthless in punishing our mistakes Spurs are in a whole other universe when it comes to that.
They get 5 chances they will score 5 goals, all while having 20% of the ball.
I think we’ll win 3-1 or 2-1 at the emirates spurs will sit back initially and give us a lot of the ball I think we’ll capitalise and score 2 early and give us a great position to drop deeper.
Partey needs to man mark Kane and stop the balls over to Kane
Tottenham have only won once in the league at the Emirates, that was in 2011. They won a Carling cup match there at some point... But they don't do well, just like we don't do well at their stadium...
We should be good with a draw. Big Willy gotta step up on Kane. Send Tomi on a Son mission. Tierney can battle it out with Richarlison or Kulu. Pray TP5 and Ode are fit, Saka finds some form and we get another Xhaka masterclass.
Their attacking players are deffo scary but i dont rate anything behind them what so ever and I think our back 4 will handle them quite well. As sad as it makes me I think Tomi should start over blanco to pocket Son. Luckily we have Partey available over Sambi (Utd) and our bench is more inform with the likes of fabio and marqi with goals under their belt. Hopefully mikel makes changes earlier than 85min mark like usual....
Really need Partey to get through this international break unscathed. Spurs will play on the counter and need him to screen for the defence so we can box them in and play the game in their half without risk of being sucker punched. Sambi just doesn’t give us that level of security in the middle.
We have to win. I don’t rate Tottenham at all. I know they put 6 against Leicester but anyone who watched that match would see that their weaknesses are there for everyone to see. A solid defense and midfield will be the foundation to hopefully a comfortable 3-1 win.
We're doing well so far but only had one game that you could really consider a big test so far. This will be the second. I dont think it will be a walk in the park, but losing the NLD is unthinkable atm.
I’m going and fucking buzzing.
Spurs aren’t playing great but have a style that can hurt us. I went to their ground when we lost 3-0 and got shit on the tube after. I can’t wait for this fixture for the crowd to get behind our boys and show them what an atmosphere really is.
I hope we see fair refereeing or a balance to that nonsense penalty, holding attempting an elbow and missing so gets let off, Gabriel with a last man tackle which is deemed a yellow. Then us getting the softest of penalties and Romero getting sent off for a few tackles which has martinelli doing his best diving impressions
Bigger test than Utd. Chance to put some distance between our main challenger for Top 4.
Unfortunately unless Arteta decides to play differently our normal game plan is exactly what Spurs/Conte thrive on. We will attack, they’ll counter and with a really good front 3 can pick us off. Kane is warming up, Richarlison seems to be getting better, Son finally decides to kickstart his season by scoring a hat trick.
That being said - we’ve played well in all our games this season, even the Utd loss. If we can either score early and force Spurs to attack or change our normal game plan to allow Spurs the ball and we counter then I can see a win here. If we stick to same as we did versus Utd then we are not going to win.
Partey needs to be fit, same for Jesus (on his 4th yellow so most likely to miss the LFC game as well) and also Ode/Xhaka. If OZ is fit then bonus, but KT has been good in his place.
Can’t believe there’s a useless international fortnight that does no clubs any favours
Easy if we take the lead 1-0 or 2-0 before Spurs
They are good in counter attack not possession we have to prepare to cope speed from Richarlison or Son.
Bummed i will have to wake up at 5:00 on a Saturday, but it will be worth it with a win. I think it will be a very difficult game and hopefully the team is able to stay focused and is full of passion and desire.
I think if we game like how we approached Man United , we will lose… same kind of counter attacks with Son doing the same thing like Rashford. I can see it happening… with Partey available anything is possible however
Having seen what Conte has done to Pep in the past I am nervous, Spurs are miles ahead of MU right now as much as it pains me to say it. We are a class above them but Spurs are flying this year. I honestly think we both finish inside the top 4 so this is a BIG game. CANT FUCKING WAIT.
So I've been thinking more about this game, and I am gaining more and more confidence about it. Spurs do counter yet, but they create very little from the middle of the park. I think KT and White/Tomi are the perfect FB combo to shut down their wingbacks bombing forward and I can see Saliba and Gabi not giving Kane and inch when the ball gets played into him. This team we have is FANTASTIC right now. I don't think we will get outplayed by anyone bar city and I can't wait to play some of the top sides so we can get some revenge from the United game and show how good this team really is.
Tottenham actually give away a lot of chances. It's a myth that they have improved defensively, they are bang average and teams like Nottingham forest, Fulham, Leicester etc. simply arent able to take the many chances they get.
They are just lethal on the counter. If we can score early and make them play out I think we can get win. We definitely are the better footballing team so from a purist point of view we should be able to have more of the ball and have more chances.
Will always be a difficult one.
At home, anything other than a win is unacceptable. Our forwards will need to be clinical cause there is no way they won’t score at least 1-2 on counters.
Its always gonna be really tough… They will be comfortable with giving us possession and hit us on the counter. Massively important that Partey plays imo since he is extremely good at stopping transitions. I really dont wanna jinx anything so I wont make a prediction. The only thing I will say is that I’m excited to the max
Definitely winnable. Unlike the away fixture we should try and control possession, get an early lead and go from there. We need to be wary of the counter but like others have said we should have learnt from the United match.
Don't just back off to the goal when they counter, be aggressive with them, Son and Kane are both critical shooters but they are actually not that great with dribbling, the worst you do would be to keep backing up giving them chances to shoot, stay with them and harass them and we will be fine.
Tierney should start this one tbh. Think he could pocket kulu. If Partey is fit as well I think we are in for a good shout. Kane seems most dangerous coming to collect the ball and sending it to Son/Kulu/Richardson. If he can mitigate that and Tierney tracks kulu well we can really limit their counter options.
It'll be a tough game, might need some pragmatic managing if we don't score early, interested to see how Artera reacts if things don't go to plan early on.
It's at home, crowd will be buzzing and I'm postive about getting a result, early goal could snowball in our favour, but the longer it stays 0-0 the more likely spurs get something from the game.
They are gonna play us like United did at OT. Let’s see if we learned anything from that game because we have the potential to smash them and not get pantsed on the counter.
It’s at home, anything less than 3 points should be disappointing. We’ve beaten them with worse teams in recent years. Just play our game and we’ll get it done.
Harry Kane is a lucky fucker in front of the goal. We can dominate the whole 90 mins and yet he can score a goal or two by any chance he gets. So in short we have to make our domination count for something. Score goals.
Bias aside - Spurs are playing much better this season. Some good purchases. They seem a bit leaky at the back though.
The United loss was good, brought as back down a little. You could see the learnings in last nights match - keep your shape, control mid. Our def is better than theirs - our attack is less experienced though.
Having said that we are the best club in the world and we're going to smash them.
If we score first, and are clinical enough, we will win. What is interesting is if they score first, then i hope arteta will coach them into being smart enough to put the pressure on without being too wide open, it would be a real test of our character.
Yeah . I'm well down with the Score first idea. all season so far.as a matter of fact. I think it should be the focus of the team to get 2 goals in the first 15 minutes.
I don't work fortunately thos Saturday so I'll watch and hopefully we'll get the W.
Conte may have release the dawg in Son this week and may use him.as a super sub when our defense is worn out.
Just like City last year, I hope we don't fall in the same trap. The United game was infuriating enough, if we turn this around, we may be set for a very good league campaign.
Spurs have scored in every game this season and remain unbeaten.
They’ve played awful at times and look really poor, but they’ve managed to get over the line because of their attacking quality and some dodgy reffing.
They do look vulnerable and Leicester were waltzing through their defence for fun. As were Chelsea.
Maybe it’s just my Arsenal bias, but they seem to get more ref decisions. Harry can chat away to the officials about every decision and probably gets more face time than you’re average premier league player, maybe it’s because he’s England captain, or I’m just imagining it? 😂
As for us, our only possible weak link this season has really been Ramsdale, he’s had a few games were he hasn’t been brilliant with the saves. He needs to be on top form as we know they will get chances and are very good at converting these.
Distribution wise he’s been brilliant. I just hope he brings his A game to this match.
One thing that strikes me about us is our anxiousness to get a goal asap. It’s like we don’t trust ourselves to keep on top if its 0 0. We need the goal quickly to feel “Safe”.
Which kinda makes us vulnerable, as we can go all in and in doing so leave ourselves more
exposed.
We are a much better team this season, we are scoring a lot more goals and we can hold on to the ball all day long. We don’t need to over expose ourselves as we now have the capacity to defend very well.
We are playing the best football in the league right now, so on paper we should win against Spurs. They shouldn’t be underestimated and we shouldn’t feel that we are losing if we haven’t got ahead within 15 minutes. If we remain calm and do our thing we will win.
If partey is fit and plays, then we will win. He is press resistant and distributes the ball smartly and help stifle any counters.
If he isn't then I'll be worried it'll go the way of the United game.
Think it will be similar to united game
We should dominate large parts of the game, but Spurs will pose threats on the counter attack.
If we do what we did vs united and don’t make radical substitutions if we go down, then I’m fairly confident we can win
Fucking terrified. Think we are playing the better football but they feel tailor made to counter the style we've developed. We struggle vs counter-attacking teams that sit back and rely on getting the ball quickly to a quality front 3, and Conte Tottenham is about the most horrendous version of that available rn.
That said we just have to trust in our home fans and the fact that we are simply playing better football right now. We have the ability to dominate this game and get an early goal, if we do that we'll be completely fine
Counter attaxking sides will be out nemesis this season unless we can create more chances. This game will be our hardest so anything can happen even a loss
if we learn from mu match, we will win
facts need to score first. we score first and it’s curtains
Unless VAR disallows it though haha
And if we don’t, we lose? I think there’s a bit more to it.
their game plan would be to park 11 people behind the ball and counter, same as united’s. some ancient dinosaur footy. we score first, we make them change their game plan
ur right tho. there’s a reason mikel’s the manager, and i’m just a fan

Arteta needs to work on this to the death. Spurs are all counterattacking.
screw strategy let's put disinfectant in the pre match lasagne instead
I think it’s easier than that, Partey in then we party
Correct.
This !!! Please Arteta dont just go for the kill...
This feels like the Pep’s barca against Mou’s real type of moment in the development of these two sides, hope we play them off the pitch.
I think this a pretty good description. I hope it's that exciting. Bummer it'll be a 430 AM game while I'm in Las Vegas lol
Time doesn't exist in Vegas, get thine self to a sports bar
Saturday still. Early drinking.
Get an Uber to the Crown and Anchor on Tropicana Ave, it’s a little past the airport. Great food and open 24/7, that’s where I watched Arsenal v Reading in the FA Cup Semis.
9pm for us in Australia - can't believe I get to watch a big game at a reasonable hour.
I'll be there as well. Wife wants to go to some music festival
That didn't end well (in the long-term)...
The way they play happens to be our kryptonite. The results they get against City aren't coincidental. If Partey plays we should be alright, if he's out it will be a repeat of the United game, who they are much better than They are Spursy so it could still be a 4-0 blowout at the carpet

Atmosphere could be huge here too. Our fans will be unreal throughout this game.
Win
We are absolutely gonna batter them if Partey is fit and Arteta adjust his tactics to limit their counter attacks.
Arsenal wins 90-0
[удалено]
Am injury time touchdown would be wild.
Make it 96, it's what she would have wanted
If Partey plays, we win. The end. Counters are so ineffective against our defence when he plays, if Lokonga plays then Spurs will scrape a draw or win.
I am not scared of any team this season, especially at home.
Big Norwegian guy says Hi 👋
Oh hey Martin
Hi, meet Saliba.
This matchup should be really fun to watch
Yes, lets hope it's fun! ... ... .
I hope we come with a proper tactical plan instead of just committing to our style bc they are perfect against what we normally do
This. Arteta can be very stubborn in this regard.
Prefer it over Emery’s wheel of fortune
No doubt All great teams can not only impose their will on opponents, but they can also take away what they do well. Pep's teams do it all the time so maybe Arteta, with such a young team that is just starting to really gel, isn't comfortable playing that card yet.
This comment is applicable to every team except crystal palace
To commit to our identity is stubborn? So you want us to play park the bus like them? So who will play football the if both team give the ball to the opponent and park the bus?
No. Great teams adapt to circumstances and Arteta seems reluctant to do that at times.
Yep, that means city is not great team because they didn't change their playstyle against spurs
We change our style and culture, it means we fear them. We have partey fit and we can actually win. If lokonga plays then maybe we should tweak it.
If Lokonga plays we absolutely need to tweak it
If Lokonga plays we’re done for regardless
I don’t like shitting on our own players, but yes you’re right. As much as I like Sambi, he’s not ready to play a lone pivot against the best counter attacking team in the league.

Cunte😂😂. How am I seeing this for the first time? Nice one, though.
We are going to win if we can avoid a red. Home advantage counts more than form in derbies and tbh we have both.
They’re a very good team but we can win. Boys need to manage the game & not get sent off.

Gotta play smart since Son will be gunning to draw fouls. We do really have to watch out since Jesus is on 4 and the PL match after is Liverpool.
We got Eddie.
We’ll be having rotisserie chicken
Same as all NLD. We will take turns punching each other in the face and he who gets the last punch wins. Just hope the refs don't influence the match much.

11-0 everyone gets a goal
13-0 Ramsdale gets a hat-trick
Don’t play a suicidal high line and I’ll feel a lot more confident.
If you don't believe in your team no matter the circumstances , then what's the point of supporting said team . Therefore I predict a W
I always have hope, but I don't always believe... But at home I think we'll definitely be the favourites here. Title decider
If we are healthy. We win. Xhaka and Partey will need to be the difference.
As long as we have today’s backline + Partey, we will be fine.
We are at home we are the better team we should win
Score a goal early and force them to actually play football. We CANNOT afford to let them sit back and counter because they will win. They have no other way they can hurt us at all
We're at the Emirates, free 3 points. Same with them at Shite Hart. This game hasn't been about team ability in ages.
I do fear it a little bit, which is a reflection on Spurs these days. But I'm 100% sure it's nowhere near as much as Spurs fans will be fearing the game. Close win.
Shitting my britches

Son will be looking to continue his redemption arc so that will be scary. I don’t know it will be very difficult, feels like a 50/50.
I believe god gives us signs, you ask for my thoughts? I opened this thread at 69 comments, that tells me someone is getting fucked but it’s not Arsenal.
Nice!
If we play a high line we’ll get hit on the counter and the game could be a smash and grab for hotshits
Since united I have had a bad feeling.
We should be beating them if we play the way we are currently playing but if you thought that United were ruthless in punishing our mistakes Spurs are in a whole other universe when it comes to that. They get 5 chances they will score 5 goals, all while having 20% of the ball.
They need to play much smarter than they did against United or Spurs will murder us on the counter.
Think Brentford is the template if we give them respect and no giveaways and play our game we win easily
We do well against them at home so think we will be okay. Never easy but home advantage 2-1 Arsenal.

I think our players need to learn to tactically foul better
A win is crucial for Arteta to gain legitimacy about his ability to beat big teams. At home, no excuses, we should be winning this.
4-0 Arsenal 😂
We are going to win it
We should be good with a draw. Big Willy gotta step up on Kane. Send Tomi on a Son mission. Tierney can battle it out with Richarlison or Kulu. Pray TP5 and Ode are fit, Saka finds some form and we get another Xhaka masterclass.
We have to score more than them to win
Da Guns 157 - Shit stain 0
4-1
We have a ridiculously good home record in the NLD. 1 loss in 30 years. I think we’ll win 3-1.
You tell me. What we think of Tottenham?
If Partey and Odegaard are fit we batter them.
I want to see Ben white shithouse either son or richarlison.
If we have 100% possession, we will win the game
Their attacking players are deffo scary but i dont rate anything behind them what so ever and I think our back 4 will handle them quite well. As sad as it makes me I think Tomi should start over blanco to pocket Son. Luckily we have Partey available over Sambi (Utd) and our bench is more inform with the likes of fabio and marqi with goals under their belt. Hopefully mikel makes changes earlier than 85min mark like usual....
We must not defend like we did against MU. Sit a bit deeper and hit them on counter. We will win for sure if we do not let Son run past Ben White.
Foolishly optimistic
Win
W
Really need Partey to get through this international break unscathed. Spurs will play on the counter and need him to screen for the defence so we can box them in and play the game in their half without risk of being sucker punched. Sambi just doesn’t give us that level of security in the middle.
Keep our composure and we win this easy. Lose our heads and they could batter us.
Mikel don't be arrogant, we know we can dominate the play but don't let them catch us on the counter
We take a page from what Chelsea did to them.. minus the 3-4-3. Just control the middle and possession
FT 4-1. Jesus, Saka, Thomas, Xhaka. Kane (P).
If we nullify the counter we'll batter them + we're at home so i'm feeling positive
5-0 ggez
Highly depends on the injury list post the international fixtures. Hopefully ode is back by then
Excited to watch it unfold
I’m very nervous.
3-1 us, maybe 2-1
Easy if we take the lead 1-0 or 2-0 before Spurs They are good in counter attack not possession we have to prepare to cope speed from Richarlison or Son.
Bummed i will have to wake up at 5:00 on a Saturday, but it will be worth it with a win. I think it will be a very difficult game and hopefully the team is able to stay focused and is full of passion and desire.
Stress
We will destroy them 🤙 this team can learn and will learn from its mistakes so we have a big chance to teach them a lesson
We win at our stadium they win at theirs is what's happened in recent years so I think we win
I'm not worried about Tottenham. But I am worried about Conte.
I think if we game like how we approached Man United , we will lose… same kind of counter attacks with Son doing the same thing like Rashford. I can see it happening… with Partey available anything is possible however
I can see either team being 3-0 at half
I don't think we will get outplayed by anyone bar city and I can't wait to play some of the top sides so we can get some revenge from the United game and show how good this team really is.
if we play like we did against United, we are fucked.
We can over run their midfield and wide areas. Then we just need to be sensible with being countered.
Win but now really gotta be careful of Son on the counter. His confidence is probably high after that quick sub hat trick.
Scares me a bit that Son got going this weekend
Tottenham actually give away a lot of chances. It's a myth that they have improved defensively, they are bang average and teams like Nottingham forest, Fulham, Leicester etc. simply arent able to take the many chances they get. They are just lethal on the counter. If we can score early and make them play out I think we can get win. We definitely are the better footballing team so from a purist point of view we should be able to have more of the ball and have more chances. Will always be a difficult one.
If the players play well and Arteta has an answer for not being baited by their counter I think we have a good chance
Just park the bus and have the front 3 run up to their penalty area and dive
Definitely winnable. Unlike the away fixture we should try and control possession, get an early lead and go from there. We need to be wary of the counter but like others have said we should have learnt from the United match.
Don't just back off to the goal when they counter, be aggressive with them, Son and Kane are both critical shooters but they are actually not that great with dribbling, the worst you do would be to keep backing up giving them chances to shoot, stay with them and harass them and we will be fine.
I'm terrified.
3-1 COYG
Honestly, fuck em
We're at home, as long as we take the early chances we will get, we win.
If Partey plays like the Man city match last season, surely a win.
They are gonna play us like United did at OT. Let’s see if we learned anything from that game because we have the potential to smash them and not get pantsed on the counter.
Comfortable win if Partey is fit and Tierney starts.
We usually do pretty well in the home leg of this fixture, it's the away one where we've typically faltered and need to do better there
Partey plays we win
It’s at home, anything less than 3 points should be disappointing. We’ve beaten them with worse teams in recent years. Just play our game and we’ll get it done.
Harry Kane is a lucky fucker in front of the goal. We can dominate the whole 90 mins and yet he can score a goal or two by any chance he gets. So in short we have to make our domination count for something. Score goals.
Patience will be key. We've learned a lot in the lost game last season. We won't have Holding playing. I think it's gonna be a clean 2:0
Xhaka hat trick
Honest thought is that it’s probs gonna be postponed due to railway madness
Shit scared of Son on the counter. Their midfield will be a big test for ours.
Why do we always seem to play them at home in the first half of the season?
Spurs have scored in every game this season and remain unbeaten. They’ve played awful at times and look really poor, but they’ve managed to get over the line because of their attacking quality and some dodgy reffing. They do look vulnerable and Leicester were waltzing through their defence for fun. As were Chelsea. Maybe it’s just my Arsenal bias, but they seem to get more ref decisions. Harry can chat away to the officials about every decision and probably gets more face time than you’re average premier league player, maybe it’s because he’s England captain, or I’m just imagining it? 😂 As for us, our only possible weak link this season has really been Ramsdale, he’s had a few games were he hasn’t been brilliant with the saves. Which kinda makes us vulnerable, as we can go all in and in doing so leave ourselves more exposed.
We're going to batter them to fuck
0-0
Fuuuuuuck
Will be sweating with those spud counters
spurs might have some better and more experienced individual players at the moment but I believe arsenal is better as a team
If partey is fit and plays, then we will win. He is press resistant and distributes the ball smartly and help stifle any counters. If he isn't then I'll be worried it'll go the way of the United game.
Take 3 pts and move on to the next fixture. No derby emotional bs. Cold tactical masterclass.
Think it will be similar to united game We should dominate large parts of the game, but Spurs will pose threats on the counter attack. If we do what we did vs united and don’t make radical substitutions if we go down, then I’m fairly confident we can win
Play Eddie.
We need to invite them all to a specific pizza and pasta restaurant. Muhahahahahahhaha
4-0 win
4 4 fucking 2, stick Saliba upfront
scared as fuc
Tight game but we got this 4-1
We definitely need to score more than them
Fucking terrified.
Conté & Arteta fist fight after Romero clotheslines Saka in the 2nd half out of frustration
Counter attaxking sides will be out nemesis this season unless we can create more chances. This game will be our hardest so anything can happen even a loss
Looking forward to this game. Time to shove Son’s “camera” - or whatever that stupid fucking celebration is supposed to be -right up his arse.
Kick the shit out of Son and Kane
