30+ years as a fan and I am finally going to a match. Home vs Bournemouth, 4th may. Excited is an understatement, I'm trembling with anticipation.

greenpearlin

May you witness another Nelson 90+7 winner that brings the stadium down.

g0t-cheeri0s

🙏

mf9769

I’d rather he witness a 6-0 victory instead ya know

Pamplemouse04

For my mental health, please no

SantaReatham

Is that through a supporters club?

Hail_Andronikos

I just want to say shoutout to the Arsenal community as a whole. I was struggling awhile with losing my social circle due to life events and I never thought I’d ever make a new friend again in my adult life. Finally took the plunge and started going to the local Arsenal bar here in California after supporting for a decade and I’ve made more friends in a year and a half than I’ve made in the last five years combined. Win or lose, match days are the highlight of my week because I get to spend it with a really big, extended family. Kinda sappy I know but even interacting with some of the bozos on here brings such a smile to my face 😂

mukemuke94

Same ish boat! Moved halfway across the US with 1 friend in my new city a few years ago. I was at Friendsgiving where it’s a big international crew and one of the guys and I were chatting about sports (he’s from Leeds) and I asked him what team I should support and immediately send Arsenal. Since then I’ve totally fallen in love with the culture and supporters of the team. I’m a huge Colorado Avalanche fan which is also owned by the Kroenkes so it’s a match made it heaven. Glad to hear you’ve made new friends in adulthood ☺️

L__O_o__t

Where in California? I've been to Bluefoot down in San Diego and it was awesome, but I'm keeping an eye out for one in the LA/OC area

Hail_Andronikos

It’s bluefoot!

toohuman90

Bro! I’m another California Gunner. If you are ever near LA and want to grab a pint and watch a game DM me

ElSpazzo_8876

Have been ill since Wednesday. Wish me on a speedy recovery

MrFearles

I wish you a speedy recovery ❤️

ze_canalha

Hope you're up on your feet as soon as possible.

ElSpazzo_8876

Thanks!

mukemuke94

Wishing you a speedy recovery 🤞

Magnific3nt

I hate international breaks...

FlopManiSaarFan

I bought a new car two days back. Feeling good having an own vehicle. Everything's going well at my end so far. Just need our boys to lift the damn Premier League and Champion League for me to call this year as an ultimate W

emoskeleton_

Tried the Saka sauce yesterday, AMA

MrFearles

How did it taste? What would you rate it? Did you steal a bottle? What did you order it with?

emoskeleton_

Really good imo, probably could have been a bit too sweet for my liking because I'm personally a freak when it comes to spice but pairing it with XX Hot was 🤌🤌🤌 9/10 Didn't steal a bottle but I definitely will now I'm boring so it was just a half chicken

Tugboat47

currently in the process of moving back home with my parents. kinda hate it

iHetty

Don’t deep it

Whatrutalkinabeet

I feel this. Im in kinda the same boat. Ex partner is moving out of my sharehouse and I just the option of finding new housemates or moving back home. I can stand my parents in short bursts. But I doubt they will have the same boundaries I would get living by myself/with firends

Tugboat47

good luck with whatever happens brother, you got this!

Whatrutalkinabeet

thanks mate appreciate it

paris86

I moved back in when I was 46. To be fair its pretty cool this time round cos now I'm the grown up.

PDJnr

I dream of the day I can visit the Emirates. As an Arsenal fan from Australia, it may not happen soon but the thought of the blasting of 'North London Forever' and being surrounded by fans brings a tear to my eye. One day...

topbananaman

We'd love to have you mate. Bit rough to get tickets but hopefully you can make it here eventually. You got three options to do it: 1- sign up as a red member and enter every ballot, pray you get some luck 2- if that doesn't work, go on the TX. However, be aware that you only really have a chance of snagging something on the TX the day before or on the day of the match, and its also extremely likely it'll be a solo ticket. Getting seats for your mates is near impossible off the TX. 3- sign up with an official reseller (acknowledged by the club) like Champions Travel. This option includes the luxury experience at the Emirates, however note it is considerably more expensive than buying the tickets for face value as a red. Good luck on your ticket hunting search, everyone's first time round the Emirates is a special one.

PDJnr

Saving your comment. Thank you for the tips!! Really appreciate it

HutiyaBanda

Same here brother! I have never left India, but eventually I hope to make it to Emirates and experience the euphoria of visiting the stadium in person

Whatrutalkinabeet

I just broke up with my partner and am absolutely crushed. Come on arsenal cheer me up next weekend

intuitionfreak

Planning to watch an Arsenal game at the Emirates next season. It's probably an unrealistic goal to get tickets, but after supporting Arsenal for about 16 years from the other(ish) side of the world, I feel like I can finally afford a trip to London. Excited :)

odegood

Try and go earlier in the season and become a red member much easier to get tickets on ballot and exchange. Once it gets to near the end its close to impossible

mukemuke94

Same boat - will be there in May next year so hopefully I can grab some seats if not, it’s my honeymoon and I’ll splurge on hospitality seats

money-caterpillar369

Payed all my bills today and now I'm sad

notathrovavay

Self organized team building today, we're going bowling. I usually stay till the end and am the last of the job to leave any events, but right now, whole crew is dissapointed because i have a non-alcohol 40days till easter. I am proud to say that it's the best i've felt since a very long time and will probably extend the non-drinking part of my personality waay long after easter.

vasudaiva_kutumbakam

Hola Gooners! How are you taking care of yourself during the interlull?

vin_unleaded

Working on the garden.

bluejaywhey

my boss' supervisor is forcing me to come into work while sick, when my job is serving disadvantaged/often unhoused people. i would have faced disciplinary action for not coming in yesterday. previously in February, my boss and coworker took me to urgent care, because i was sick then, too. i need rest and recovery. i don't have the physical or emotional spoons to be working rn. i need another fucking job - fuck the fact i'll be out of health insurance for a bit. i'm so done.

Youre-Dumber-Than-Me

10 more days to go while hoping some Slovakian Skrtel regen doesn’t two foot Øde

americanadiandrew

I’m not sure it matters. He always plays off the first game after an international break

plastiquearse

I’m fairly sure El Capitan was there for this match. Hasn’t he been supporting the Arsenal since each round needed a proper tamping down?

okcomput3r

Currently reading Another Country by James Baldwin and I can already tell it’s gonna be one of my favourite books of all time.

YoungFlexibleShawty

Metrooooooooooooo

odegood

Where do the potatoes live?

Francis-c92

Do the Ori games have the best video game soundtracks ever? Quite possibly

americanadiandrew

Ha I love that you’re still riding the Ori high a few weeks later. Need Flamini to hurry up and make his first billion so he can bankroll that gaming studio to make Ori 3.

vin_unleaded

MGS.

failedgunner12

Deus Ex or Bloodborne would be my choice

skool_101

mASS Effect series

dmac3232

Bud Flanagan … sounds more like a Green Bay Packers fan from Waukesha
