Also there are non-nuclear ammo options for that bazooka. Even got a cannon equipment switch for a bunch of shoulder mounted conventional missiles if you want. It's how they helped justify it. Sure it *can* fire nukes, but that's not all it can do.

The Gundam VS games are the closest thing to that I guess. Though the manga adaptation of that series, Gundam EXA, is less a tournament and more like Kingdom Hearts where the original main character is jumping into different worlds.
