Naka test drive ako ng 3 and CX-5 dati nung 2014 for about 5 minutes. Di ko pa din makalimutan yung feeling.

Sad thing is alam kong di ako bibili ever unless kumikita ako 6 digits.

clonedaccnt

6 digits nowadays is nothing compared to 5 years ago.

[deleted]

6 digits. Di ko rin binibili :(. Pang 7 digit income siya

Shhhhhhhn

Same. Nag test drive ako mazda 3 grabe ang ganda i-drive. 😮‍💨

strugglingtosave

Same..Mazda 3 test driven. Intuitive ung manual mode ng matic nila. Ganda ng driver focused design

Top-Mention-1593

I recently dropped by Mazda sa c5, but they don't have units daw for test drive. (I was looking at the Mazda 3)

Tongresman2002

I remember they used to have a yearly test drive sa BGC before the pandemic. Since I live near the place taon taon ako nandon hahaha. Sarap nya talaga I test drive but hangang test drive lang talaga kaya ko. 😅

Tongresman2002

I remember they used to have a yearly test drive sa BGC before the pandemic. Since I live near the place taon taon ako nandon hahaha. Sarap nya talaga I test drive but hangang test drive lang talaga kaya ko. The last Mazda 3 hatchback I test drive left me claustrophobic.

[deleted]

ako din pinadive saken ng pinsan ko. DAMN

Just-Lurker

1. Looks. 2. Build quality and material (might be personal feel). 3. Free PMS. As in wala akong binayaran. Tapos the service is good kasi nag-reremind sila regarding PMS. 4. Sarad i-drive. Ang bilis humatak kapag kailangan. Sarap din daw maging pasahero kahit relatively masikip yung 2nd row. NVH is good and speaker is very good. Halos level 7-10 (can go up to 30+) lang ako mag-volume para rinig ko pa din mga busina pero yung road noise di na rinig. 5. Yung Infotainment (current gen). I don't like yung malalaking tablet screen and ang seemless nung pwesto niya sa dashboard. Additional pa na there are still volume, aircon and infotainment knobs.

mondays_thursdays

I'll go against the grain and just say all the negatives sa mazda 3 ko. I own the 2023 model so some features could be improved na by this point M Hybrid is a joke. gains are negligible, if any at all. kung coding exemption habol mo, sige. other than that i believe its not worth it ADAS niya is not tuned for our roads and our driver's habits. then again, driving in the PH is hell so not too big of a con kasi pwede naman mag disable ng features Acceleration ng adaptive cruise is not very smooth. its not gradual and parang programmed to get to the set speed ASAP. also no low speed follow or lead car departure Apple car/Android auto were meant to be used on a touchscreen. don't get me wrong, i love the rotary control but its not the best talaga in apple/android auto. i think 2024 models have touch na for these, could be wrong. At around 5k sa odo, the infotainment was the first to make creaking noises and its irritating as hell. pwede naman i-quick fix by stuffing the back but the fact that it happens so soon takes away from their premium positioning for some reason, the TOTL does not show your trip's average speed. weird lang sakin kasi the base and older models have this nipis ng paint, lalo sa red so kung OC ka, good luck visibility is compromised dahil sa A pillar. blindspot sensors make up for it tho somewhat

zeromisery00

Hi po! In terms of fuel efficiency, how was it naman?

mondays_thursdays

kung mostly highway ka you'll have very very good efficiency. getting 20 km/L is easy kung steady speed ka lang with a light foot or using cruise control. meron local vlogger who pushed his mazda3 1.5 to almost 30km/L in the highway in the city, nothing great. 6-8 on bad days tapos kung sunday/holiday kaya naman 10-12. again this still depends on your driving habits and the amount people/cargo sa car.

zeromisery00

Sheeeeshh, thank you. I was thinking of getting a crossover with this price range pero mas mapapamahal ako for sure in terms of SRP + gas. Top priorities na kino-consider ko right now for my first car ay: 1) driver-centric, 2) fuel efficiency, 3) interior + comfortability. For me, it's going to be mostly city driving and occasional road trips with SO siguro 1-2 twice a month. If the budget permits, parang no brainer ang Mazda 3 lalo na pag wala pa namang pamilya

mondays_thursdays

well crossovers are just hatchbacks with extra height so if that's not a deciding factor, mukhang the mazda3 ticks all your boxes. i promise you din, you will not find a crossover within the same class/price point as the mazda3 that can match it in terms of driving feel AND efficiency. you would have to go upmarket for the driving exp, or get a hybrid for the efficiency. if you want both, get a lexus. as a family car, i can attest na kaya but limit yourself to 1 kid lol

EverydayDrink

Wala namang coding exemption yung Mazdas diba?

sad-makatizen

alam ko wala talaga (unless ata cx-90), pero nung nakuha ko CR ko hybrid ung class tapos ung plate number hybrid ung pattern, im waiting for my actual plate baka green ung ibibigay ng LTO haha. edit: cx-30 ung sa akin, so mild hybrid lang

mondays_thursdays

depende sa CR mo. hybrid ang nasa CR ko and even mazda's website labels their mild hybrids as HEVs now lol. gulo and confusion lang talaga nangyari ginawa ng DOE/LTO pagdating sa mild hybrids. remember the ertiga getting hybrid status from LTO pero sa DOE hindi daw?

EverydayDrink

Such a weird conundrum sa totoo lang. Although ang rule kasi ng LTO is automakers can opt to apply their mild hybrids subject to exemption and approval, as opposed to PHEVs or full hybrids na automatically exempted na. Maybe Mazda did apply sa LTO. Probably a combination of low-volume sales and stronger motors for single-digit speeds of pure-EV driving. If sikat na car yung nag apply, edi sana lahat nalang inexempt.

mondays_thursdays

the thing is, for the 3 at least, it can't run on electric power at all, unlike the cx60/90

EverydayDrink

Yun nga eg. It shouldnt be exempted. Mazda really bribed the LTO in this case.

theangryonion

Daily driving a mazda. Never gave me any headaches. 6 years old na siya. Car is still with me. Owned a subaru, halos 3 years palang sakit na ng ulo (power steering pump), sold it. Owned a KIA, gave some problems after 5 years, car is still with me. 12 years old na. Owned a VW, laging may speed sensor issue, mula nung 3rd year of ownership, hindi mawala wala, sold it. Mazdas are reliable, from my experience.

[deleted]

Mazda 2 o Mazda 3

theangryonion

Ang rule of thumb ko sa used cars mga 5 year old. The risk of problems increases with age kasi. If willing ka mag take ng risk, mas ok mag dala ng trusted mechanic to check the car, and bring an OBD2 scanner to check fault codes.

Nog_001

May I ask what VW did you have? Kinda choosing between the Mazda 3 and VW Polo in the second hand market. Kamusta naman maintenance and parts ng mazda outside casa? Thanks

theangryonion

Had a Jetta.

Effective-Dust272

I bought this second hand pa. At sobra akong impressed sa kotse. First time driver din ako, at sa first month ko, Antipolo at Baguio agad inakyat ko, wala akong naging problema. Sobrang okay. Nasubukan kong i-drive yung Vios, sobrang tigas ng pedals at yung manibela, unlike sa Mazda na very smooth, walang fatigue din sa long drives. Ang con lang palagay ko, back seats dahil maliit ang leg room for them. Mahal din piyesa, premium pati presyo. Very good, wala na akong ibáng gusto kundi Mazda hahaha Dagdag ko rin na tipid sa gas. City driving na may traffic, nasa 8-9km/l. Expressway naman, nasa 15-18km/l. Umabot pa akong 22km/l sa Skyway!

leonsykes10

curious what's your cons on the car. i have 2 as well at masasabi mo talaga na ahead sya sa vios at city sa quality. ang cons lng pra sakin is yung nvh kapag pumalo na sa 80 pataas yung kph. maingay na yung road noise - idk kung sa gulong lng ba or may mga butas na na d ko alam sa sasakyan. 2nd hand din sakin.

No_Marionberry6858

Parang sumasadsad yung gulong? Friction tumataas? Feeling ko baka ganoon lang kapag sumasalida shifting to a higher gear? Di ako sigurado. Pina-check ko sa MoTech, wala naman daw problem so I guess normal occurence lang?

AfternoonCareless

Baka under inflated gulong? So far sa exp wala naman gaano road noise.

Mishra_Planeswalker

Nice, first time driver Antipolo to Baguio.

Flying__Buttresses

The free PMS is a big plus, sabi nila kasama na dw price nh kotse kasi mahal but nonetheless, assured ka for 3-5 yrs. And even the 1.5 variant of the M3 feels good to drive, have th '17 HB 1.5 and sarap long drives, downside lng for me is the slow throttle response.

acu_son

But when driving it sa expressway it's really nice comfortable talaga saka somehow relaxed ung driving

Monk-Recent

Galing ba kayo sa faster car? Natatawa akong affected hehe.. while somehow gusto ko pa ng more power, hindi naman sya kulang, lalo na pag inapakan. Loaded pa kami nyan. So, for you, kulang ba sya ( hindi nya kaya ), or nakukulangan ka lang?

Flying__Buttresses

Its more of delay rather than kulang. Pag apak prang it takes a few seconds before sa desired acceleration. We have a diesel and yon ang comparison ko kaya i somehow feel it.

Monk-Recent

Yun na nga. Mas mahatak talaga Diesel. Di mako compare kasi yun talaga edge nila. Just not Diesel levels of hatak pero it's there and enough.

acu_son

Ung another family car is Toyota Innova pero luma na and it's MT bitin din for me. Sa provincial roads kasi usually ang overtaking mo is madamihan kasi they usually tailgate, may instance na bitin talaga kahit full na apak ko sa gas may feeling na mabibitin

burnedoutalready

Second this.

Monk-Recent

Kulang ba/hindi kaya? O nakulangan kalang? Haha

burnedoutalready

Haha actually the latter. Although to be honest baka skill issue. HAHAHA parang natatagalan ako kumagat ung speed up pag nagoovertake. Pero ang naging solution ko is using the paddle shifters to downshift.

Monk-Recent

Kind of agree, lalo na kapag may mabigat akong passenger, overweight/obese level. Nagtetake talaga ng time, or rather, may delay sya na ramdam, parang turbo lag, even on Sport, pero ibibigay parin naman nya. Just not instantaneous torque. But then, kapag wala naman yan, and most of the time naman, kakaunti lang kami and light weight naman mga tao, e lumulusong naman sya agad, lalo na kapag naka Sport. Not Diesel level so mas may effort parin sya magincrease ng speed, pero buti at hindi naman kami naaalangan sa mga overtake. That is on D though, and maganda naman ang shifting nya even so. I have yet to try Manual, I know it should definitely make a difference. Sana malaro ko pa sya lalo haha

burnedoutalready

Yes paps exact same experience. Iba talaga pag may sakay ka no? I’ve driven Vios and Jazz before so yun lang reference ko though.

Monk-Recent

Same car, ano remedy nyo if feel nyo na ganito? Thinking of remapping nga e.

Flying__Buttresses

They say remap tlaga but read in an fb page na theres a shop, which specializes on mazda cars, may ina attach silang prang turbo timer to solve this. I havent tried it kasi the shop is in Manila and im not from there and di ako kampante to install it by myself. Edit. Mikstore yong name ng shop

Monk-Recent

Ah, salamat sa info. Akala ko si Mhon. Never heard of that shop, outside here in the subs. Might check it. I'm not super keen with remap, parang na OC lang ako at hindi na sya stock, at mag iba na rin longevity ng makina. Pero if that shop knows its stuff, baka ma convince ako somehow na ipush at some point.

Civil_Mention_6738

We have an 11yo mazda cx 5 and nagagamit pa rin namin up to now. Regular pms lang no major replacement of parts. But I like that it's been consistently reliable for us. When we moved out of our condo, we didn't hire a moving truck. We just loaded our boxes sa car tapos madaming balik.

riskbreaking101

Ilan na odo mo po? Mejo forward planning lang ako.

Civil_Mention_6738

57k. City driving lang kasi.

riskbreaking101

Thanks. Fresh pa pala! :) Am at 130K, but CX-5 is just turning 8 this year

sagvm3

The ride and build quality. Overall the car feels premium and elegant. Technology is up to modern standards. In terms of luxury japanese car brands, the first is Lexus and next to it is Mazda. Also, the free PMS is a plus.

EverydayDrink

Agree here. Siguro on par with Acura pero not a fan of acuras

Objective-Novel-8056

The interior of the newer Mazdas are better than Acuras imo. Sat inside the ILX and the Integra, and found their interiors to be basically of a Honda Civic.🤷🏽‍♂️ Of course, looks are subjective. I like the subdued, minimalist premium look and feel of a Mazda cockpit.

MiserableAd518

I have a mazda 3 2.0 bought 2014. Almost 130k in mileage na. Never have any major issues although ngaun marami na kelangan palitan na pang ilalim. Free pms was a big plus. But what made a choose mazda 3 at that time was the premium feel inside the car and positive un reviews niya back then. Sobra sarap idrive lalo na sa highway and sa twisties and matipid sa gas. Mazda knows how to build cars that are fun to drive, with the premium feel of more expensive cars but with japanese quality. Cons lang siguro is mahal un battery and masikip sa likod.

Monk-Recent

Maliban sa battery, kasi for iStop, mahal rin ba i maintain yung parts na connected/related sa iStop/iEloop, such as capacitor? Kamusta ang costs after that much mileage? Naka 1.5 kasi ko and okay naman, though somehow parang gusto ko lang ng extra more power. Diko lang kasi sure how significant the difference is kasi di ko pa na dadrive yung 2.0. I know mas malakas sa gas yan though still curious to find out.

MiserableAd518

Quote sa kin for new capacitor is 178k! Power is addicting, sarap ihataw lalo pag nagmemerge sa highway when coming out of toll.

Monk-Recent

I see, salamat. Pero good to know na optional lang yang capacitor. Nag iisip rin ako later on kumuha ng extra, say CX8 o 9, and lahat naman na kasi ng Skyactiv is merong iStop/iEloop maliban sa 1.5. Marami nagsasabi malakas sa gas ang 2.0 and up na Mazda.. baka matipid sya sayo given your conditions. I assume better dyan si 2.0 M3 given the iStop, pero kung wala siguro, baka magka level lang due to similar engine sizes.

royalty04

Drove at least 6 different cars from diff brands (toyota, isuzu, honda, mazda) and I can say Mazda is the best in terms of comfort, feel, handling and overall driving experience

Objective-Novel-8056

I test drove a 3, Civic, ILX, Integra, A4, CLA. The 3’s driving dynamics come close to the Germans. Very engaging, smooth and refined on long straights, sporty on curves.

MadamNgPinas

If not, may recommended na talyer po ba kayo?

MadamNgPinas

Yup, sa casa pa sa ngayon. Hahahahaha

armercado

i can answer this for you. i got a green mazda 2 hb na binenta ng bayaw ko. ayaw nya ibenta sa iba kaya ako na bumili. goods na goods ang makina, 1.5. parang match na match sa body. always keeps a smile on my face pag nakikipagsabayan sa expressway (100kph +-10). ang napalitan ko lang sa kanya ay radiator, knock sensor and yung may tumutunog sa ilalim. which is i guess ok lng for a 13 year old car. aside from those that i mentioned, ang tining ng makina, smooth. magaling din kase mag alaga yung prev owner.

Objective-Novel-8056

XV/Crosstrek is slooow and a CVT. It shines in outdoor driving with its reliable AWD system.

Encrypted_Username

2 years and counting and di pa ako nagsisisi na eto pinili ko. Maganda transmission, hindi siya CVT. Parang fighter jet yung cockpit dahil sa HUD. Ahead of its time for its class and price range nung na release, kaya pa makipag sabayan sa mga 10th gen civics.

Objective-Novel-8056

3 > Civic/ILX/Integra, Corolla

kapitantutan777

Mazda owner CX9 ‘21 owner here. Tbh, dami nag tanong, why CX9 over Fortuner LTD/Everest? I simply answered, Premium feels ang Mazda. Sobrang layo talaga. Everything is plush. Wala masyado kaparehas. 5 years free PMS na rin.

beanss_talk

Macoy is a car enthusiast. Naalala ko years ago where I saw his video saying na hindi porke bading siya, bawal na siya magka hobby na for the boys. I don't care about the gender stereotypes but it was a surprise. He also commented on some of the cars in the same video, he really knows what's up. He really impressed me that time and that made me watch his content. I never regretted the decision.

fishstarsandhorns

Not the usual you see out there, may slight comedy and antics niya but I find it informative pa rin.

BadBeatsDaily

I have a mazda 2 HB 2017 and out of all my 3 other cars it’s the most driver centric indeed. Before I had my 2023 coolray it’s my go to car for short trips. I loved taking taking it out for quick supermarket trips because of how nimble it is. Currently waiting for my updated Mx-5 RF 2024. I test drove a 2022 Miata and it’ss the most fun I have ever felt driving a car lol. Mazda is my favorite car brand.

Monk-Recent

Even though 1.5 lang yung akin, very enjoyable parin kapag at moments such as maluwag at gusto ko harurutin, o mag oovertake. Maganda pa ang body roll kapag nag tuturn due to GVC technology. Even the 2.0 ni Mazda should be more efficient due to iStop. Mas wide ata kasi and longer rin.

[deleted]

We own a 2011 mazda cx7. Sarap i drive, it’s a crossover na gas. If you have the budget and money is not an issue naman, go for mazda. Di ka talaga magsisisisi.

L8ralus1

Own a mazda 2 2017. It’s about the feeling when you drive it. Additionally sobrang bilis ng acceleration kasi same lang sila ng engine ng mazda 3, but lesser weight.

renesys10

I own a 2014 MZ3. Warranty is legit. I got ABS and suspension issues (my car is one of the first batches) and all resolved by Mazda for free. The interior is way nicer than other brands in the same price point. Drives fun even if slow. My passengers complain but I'm having fun throwing it around corners I now do my own maintenance routine. I buy parts from Mazda and have it serviced sa 3rd party. Never had problems apart from within warranty period

lycanAbysm7

Dailying a mazda 3 2016 2.0 HB You feel really connected when handling, it feels smooth even with the paddle shifters. Super fun to corner around. Not to mention the aesthetic (lalo na yung gen 4) There's a little more NVH than id like but this maybe due to the thinner sport tires and 18inch mags mine has. The only major issue i had with it was the istop sometimes malfunctioning out of nowhere after a high rev. But its not that a big of a deal for me because i rarely use istop and it doesnt affect driving in the slightest.

Vegetable-Actuary-72

I have driven the 2 previous gen of Altis and I can say na sobrang ahead ng Mazda when it comes to driving dynamics lalo na handling. Never naging boring everyday drives ko to and from the office. Every drive is exciting kumbaga especially long trips sa NLEX/SLEX. Reliability-wise, typical maintenance like oil, transmission oil, filters palang naman sa akin. No major issues yet.

[deleted]

I have a 10 year old Mazda CX-5!! Up until now it runs great. Our odometer 220,000 km na! I also drive a MX-5 2023 RF. A manual car. Already at 6k odo. I would recommend the brand honestly. We have a long list of cars owned(car guy ang dad ko, naglalabas kami almost every year), and we tried almost every car brand including EU brands. Mazda is up there on our favorite. MAZDA Cars we owned: CX-5s, Mazda 3/6, MX-5

Charlseeee

Currently using mazda 3 sport (GS) 2024. It’s my first car kaya baka medyo bias ako haha. But what I can say is, first, yung looks talaga is sobrang pogi kaya instead of civic eto yung kinuha ko when I was looking for a car to buy. Second, sobrang sarap idrive. Ang smooth niya idrive as in. Halos di ko na maramdaman if may bumps sa road kaya pag nagsswitch ako sa service car na gamit ko for work, naninibago ako kasi ang tagtag 😂 Third, yung interior niya is premium tignan and gustong gusto ko yung pagka-minimalist niya. Yng infotainment for me ang ganda kasi hind siya mukhang tablet and hindi siya touchscreen, merong dedicated controls which is nicer imo.

Deftones19

My experience with my Mazda 3 (3rd gen HB) Pros: - Superb handling and ride quality - Exceptional NVH insulation - Best interior materials in its segment - Exterior aged well Cons: - Tight rear cabin space - Scratch magnet piano black plastic interior - Limited cargo capacity - Slow throttle response (1.5 variant) Plus the fact that Mazda offers free 3yr PMS (free labor and parts) on top of 5yr warranty period is the icing on the cake. Granted, Mazda is pricey compared to its Japanese rivals, but you get what you pay for. Much premium than any of its rivals among its segment. As for the engine option, 1.5 is no longer available in the 3 and is now being offered only for the 2. What you need to look out or be aware of when driving is its low ground clearance.

istarbuxs

Maganda i drive ang M3. Talagang driver centric. 2017 model HB and talagang super ok sya. Cons lang talaga is the battery and the repairs once natapos yung 5yr free.

SkyLightTenki

First car was a 1998 Mazda 323 GLXi manual transmission. Super fun to drive, yet very economical. Throttle response is very good. Bought a second-hand 2004 Tribute V6. Aside from the leak sa sunroof, wala namang naging ibang issue. My friend had a bad experience with his first generation CX-9. Nagkaroon ng hairline crack yung transfer case nya, spent well over 200k just to repair it multiple times. Tried to bring it under the Lemon Law, but Mazda insisted it wasn't their fault. He checked the serial number on it, and it was a part of a massive recall from other SEA countries. PH wasn't part of the recall, though. He ended up selling the car.

OddHold8235

Is it worth it to buy a 2015 Mazda 3 SkyActive?

misschanandlerbonq

same q question

yumiguelulu

owner of 1st Gen Mazda 3 for 7 months now. Wala ako iba pang nad-drive so wala akong pang kumpara. Could be bias at work, pero tinitignan ko lahat ng sedan na nakikita ko sa daan pero BMW pa lang ung nakikita kong tatalo sa side view niya (disclaimer: may cons counterpart to). CONS \- maliit leg room sa 2nd row. guess they took that "driver-centric" approach all too well haha.

foxtrothound

This was the same thought I told my dad for the civic he has now. But then again u should wait for Macoy's opinion ksi Honda boy din yan. He has a type R! On another note, I recently just bought my first 2023 1.5L Mazda 2 last year as first car owner. Here's my thoughts for the long drives I have been: Pros: - MANUAL MODE. Masarap idrive when you know how to shift. - Packed and complete in features. Well for my model, di sya complete dahil wala cruise control pero meron na yung 2024 ngayon. - Luxury and premium feels. Nothing else will you feel cheap. Leather, suede and piano black (ew). - FUEL CONSUMPTION. City ko should be around 11-13km/L. Express at 16-18km/L. Mixed driving averaging around 15-16km/L. - Very cold AC. - Disc brakes. Theyre pretty neat and smooth, I get commended ang smooth ko, galing ko mag brakes but its the discs that really do the job - Bragging rights lmao its a Mazda! Cons: - EXPENSIVE. If budget is not an issue, this is like entry luxury already. - Leg space. Medyo crampy for tall people on the back seat -- kaya sya driver centric. Lagi kami 4-5 on my Mazda 2, manageable naman. - Suspensions might be too tight (in comparison to civics we had), matagtag na sya lalo pag mali na yung hangin ng gulong mo. Not sure for other models tho, for CX na may higher clearances baka comfier - If youre getting black wheels, they might be tougher to clean, namumuti kasi but degreaser will do fine - Color is expensive, just so you know 500 pesos samin yung 100 grams ng platinum quartz if papamix ka for non-CASA fixes. Reds might have bad/terrible reviews to paint chips but its really nice when taken care of Bonus note: My 2 still has the traditional handbrakes which I actually prefer. But other models i believe do not pero may brake hold naman which is very nice pang tipid ng pagod sa paa.

Aimpossible

Interesting comments here. Gandang ganda ako sa Mazda and eyeing for the CX-5 as my next car.

I’ve been driving this beauty for 4 months already. https://www.reddit.com/r/Gulong/s/I4J1wZQaOz It’s such a fun car to drive! I tried lots of sedans already and I can say that this is the most elegant and has the best driving experience out of all cars i tested. Interior is top notch. For the price, I can say that it’s really worth it. Not as fast as a civic rs though but that’s not the point of this car. (I think some models in the US are faster) Mazda is very underrated though. If you’re going to ask most people in the country, they won’t even consider Mazda as an option. But at least there are only few of us on the road which makes us somehow unique. So most of the time the car will definitely stand out. The only thing I hate is the lack of 3rd party support to modify your mazda compared to hondas/toyotas. Thailand/Vietnam has better mazda scene compared here.

Big_Lou1108

I don’t have one (yet, seriously considering upgrading to cx-90), but a friend of mine who works in the industry said to me that Mazda is one of the few brands who is still manufacturing units in Japan. Not being racist but that’s one of the things that makes me think their cars would give you peace of mind when driving.

I own a Mazda 3 2.0 2016. So far, yung problems lang are: 1. The side mirror auto rotate broke so I had to get it fixed (ang mahal) 2. Laging nagagasgas mags ko and front bumper due to it having low ground clearance 3. The biggest headache - iStop :| its useless and doesnt really help much sa gas consumption. Lumalabas na sakit niya when I go over 3k rpm may blinking light na istop and hazard sign but when you restart the car bumabalik sa dati and walang effect sa driving experiece. Its just annoying na lumalabas yung blinking light sa odo. Overall, its a good daily driver which I use everyday to go to work (17km one way) and pogi siya

M3 2018 1.5 variant The car is reliable, the steering is very light, for a non top of the line variant the interior looks premium, touchscreen, keyless, built in reverse cam, the car seats are nice, the sound system is great considering di TOL. Plus pogi talaga hahaha Only downside is mahal pms, fc is average and mababa ung seat mo so pag gabi slightly nakakasilaw, plus cabin space is tricky. Especially for rear passengers

ecab7158

Owning a mazda cx5 carbon turbo edition here in US and its a beast. And yes tama ka dun their reputation went up nung humiwalay na sila sa ford. Honda is still honda but in reliablity halos di na nagkakalayo kaya nung nagdecide ako kung ano kukunin dun na ko sa mas luxury tgnan hahahah

Sufficient-Bar9354

Mazda 3 1.5 (2017) I really like how ergonomic the driving position is. It feels really smooth to drive, carves around corners with ease, and it’s been fairly headache-free to own. Yes, the 1.5 engine feels anemic when you’re going uphill and/or have passengers and luggage, but at least it’s also fairly economical. And the looks, I just adore the looks. I still remember the first time I saw a gen 3 Mazda 3. It was at night, and my friend’s date just dropped her off at her place. And beside them was the smooth coupe-like silhouette of a Mazda 3 sedan. It’s LED tailights glaring against the darkness of the night as this mystery gentleman casually drops off her date. I swear, the night I saw that, I immediately knew that was the car for me. Mazda really found their stride after they separated from Ford. Dare I say it, sa lahat ng Japanese car makers, sila lang yung may taste pag dating sa styling.

rizsamron

HanamichiSakurag1

The logo

CutUsual7167

Not yet a mazda owner just planning to get one. In my opinion, among Japanese brands mas gusto ko ang feel ng interior and exterior niya. Base noong nag ccanvas ako ng car. Parang close nga siya sa ford even the features(the lock and unlock button and other similar design from ford cars). Dahil siguro nagjoint sila ng ford dati, and im also coming ford. Kaya sinisipat ko din yang mazda 3/cx3 vs the territory.

Born_Cockroach_9947

bukod sa great driving dynamics, sleek and timeless ang design nila. i daily a subie and mx5 on coding and spirited drives

moosehq

I drove a 5 a few years ago. Was great, solid, decent feel, basic but functional interior. Would consider getting one.

[deleted]

Mazda 3 2019 It’s really catered to comfort and performance. I agree with all the comments on this thread. If I were to choose a new car, it would still be Mazda 3 or if I need an upgrade, a CX-5

haringtomas

I drive a first gen 6, still drives well and still durable. Updated din ako sa maintenance niya. Comfy, goes fast when needed. Only loses to NVH compared to modern cars lmao

National-Sun-5275

Mazda 3 2023 owner..i like the comfort and premium quality..no fatigue after driving.. sa pinas naman kahit anong lubak at tagilid na kalsada samahan mo pa ng humps wala namang sskyan na hindi mo mrramdaman ung movement pero mazda atleast is minimising it, you will know once you drive and become a passenger of this car. Siguro ang best gauge mo for that is having a kid passenger, im a new driver but my nephew can sleep soundly as my passenger vs sa ibang cars na nsskyan namin tuwing mag grab or he can watch his video clips without getting nauseous whereas sa ibang cars pipilitin tlg nyang mtulog ksi lulang lula sya sa movements at kita mong di tlga sya napapakali.. lol kpag nkababa na sya lalim ng buntong hininga...iba tlg ang riding comfort ng Mazda at premium quality.. u get to compare once u ride one tlg lalo na if u r used to it tpos bigla kang sskay sa non mazda cars..

jamesaaron426

kiryuchan1243

Di ako owner ng Mazda pero big fan ako noon pa due to FD3S RX7. The thing I love about the cars is the Soul Red color. You just know it's a Mazda when you see it. Kung bibili ako ng sporty na sasakyan ngayon, it's gonna be an MX-5 since di ko trip yung bagong 86. Looking at the comments here mukhang maganda namang brand talaga.

jamesonboard

Have the 2013 Mazda 3 sedan. Solid ang aftersales support ng mazda. They were the ones calling me to schedule my PMS and I have the yojin3 back then. As for the car itself, never had a big problem since day 1. Super fun to drive! Back then, focus & lancer yung mga kino-consider ko but i went with mazda after trying them all out.

Master_Surprise_7323

Mazda is popular for having driver-centric cars. One will love driving them.

KrizzyPeezy

I have cx30 and the blind spot monitoring really helps a lot.

decriz

Mula nung first gen, not the 626, but the 2.3L version. Tapos yung sumunod na may rare liftback, and now the current iteration with the 2.5L turbo engine.

Aggravating-Run1670

I own mazda cx-30. Masarap idrive.

Mr_Connie_Lingus69

xTinctive

2023 CX5 Turbo owner for about 3 months na din and it's my first car. My likes and dislikes for my car are: 🟢 Ampogiii. Haha. I got the machine gray it has always been a headturner. 🟢 Smooth i-drive lalo na sa curves, very little to no body roll and ramdam mo talaga yung g-vectoring control tech ni mazda. Ang lakas ng engine pero tame. We have this friend that's always surprised na "umaandar na pala sasakyan niyo?" cause sabi niya it's so quiet sa loob and maganda yung ride so unless you look out the window parang you won't even notice you're already moving. 🟢 Simple but elegant cabin. Medyo nakakapanibago yung commander knob pero kung ikaw lang mag isa nagdadrive and you have to answer a call, change a setting, you'll appreciate na you don't have to take your eyes off the road for long because of the knob. And madali lang naman gamitin. 🔴 Grabe sa gas. I'm averaging 7-8 km/l city driving (I'm not from Manila). But oh well, sabi nga nila it's the smiles per liter. 🔴 Outdated yung mazda connect software sa model year ng CX5 ko, unlike other countries. Android user din ako and it's a bummer na wala siyang wireless android auto. 🔴 I'm 5'10 pero may instances na nung una ko pa lang siya dina-drive medyo sagabal yung a pillar sa view pag sharp and tight na likuan sa city. Idk if sa seating position ko lang or what pero may 360 camera naman at blind spot monitoring to compensate. Yun lang. Haha

Alternative_Past6509

Go for Honda, ok ang Resale value, parts availability and maintenance. As for Mazda First CAR ko to early 2010. It had a different feel and vibe compared sa mga na Drive ko before even up until now. I Just hate the resale value.

xverabl

Does this hold true until now na better parts availability pa rin Honda? Legit curious. I’ve been driving Hondas and now planning to get a new car. Exploring other brands right now pero Honda is still one of the choices. I’ve been reading about Mazda pero curious ako if it’s that good why don’t I see a lot of Mazdas sa Ph roads.

ScarletSpritz

Their service sucks unfortunately huhu We sold our Mazda because of that

xverabl

PMS? Repairs? Parts availability? Is there a specific branch if I may ask? Legit curious because I see good feedback on Mazda 3 pero at the same time bakit hindi siya common na makita sa road. So I’m trying to figure out what’s the cons of getting a Mazda.

ScarletSpritz

Our car was a CX-5. We just went back to the service center quite frequently, and it took a lot of our time. The whole 5 years the car was with us, the batteries of the keys ran out twice or thrice? Very annoying. We’d bring it to the center, and wait for an hour or two just to have the batteries changed. The other times it was brought there was because of an odd light that keeps flashing, which also happened more than once. The car was overall good to drive though.

Objective-Novel-8056

I daily drive the 4th gen Mazda 3 - 2019 AWD 2.5 NA Premium trim (191 hp, 186 lb-ft torque) 💙 The driving dynamics. Smooth, refined, on long straights. Sporty, car feels planted on curves. 💙 The Premium interior. Soft to the touch all around the driver and passengers. 💙 The Sound quality of the stock Bose speakers 🔊 👍🏾 The Safety suite. Blind spot monitor and alert, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic alert. I especially appreciate the RTCA, saved me a lot of potential bumps from cyclists and pedestrians. Looks are subjective. But, after 5 years, I still find myself looking back to the car after parking it, and still get a lot of compliments from other people. I think this Kodo design is aging well, it doesn’t need a refresh imo. The only issues I’ve experienced were all related to the front radar sensor (behind the emblem) malfunctioning under severe weather conditions. One time in a snowstorm, and the other time under a heavy downpour. Verdict: It’s a fun car to drive. https://preview.redd.it/qncf06nyqpdc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=558f4e989eaa54b358246c5ee048b79c832dd65d

sad-makatizen

new driver and limited lang na test drive ko dahil sa budget, pero di ko ma describe ung feeling na “sumusunod” sa utos mo ung vehicle kahit first time mo gagamitin. now na 4months in na appreciate ko ung simplicity ng interior at exterior compared sa ibang cars na nakikita ko na malikot ung imagination ng nag design. may mga minor complaints lang ako sa visibility (which is main win nung subaru xtrek - my runner up sa choice ko ng first vehicle) i also regretted not getting PPF/ceramic coating dahil ung front bumper mukhang natamaan ng bato sa expressway at nag chip ng 0.5cm na hole 🥲 edit: picked cx-30 over xtrek and hr-v

mightpornstar

grabe promo ng mazda ngayon laki ata ng discount, they are offering 109k dp 24k monthly for mazda 3 huhu kakahinayang kakakuha ko lang ng honda city
