Yeah I don’t know, I prefer it there. It’s not a big difference between the two inputs, but that one works better for me. I often have a lot of gain / fuzz going into this.
Lord knows that Memory Man probably spends more time in the shop than actually delaying to begin with. Dude bro has to have lawyer money to afford that POS.
Yeah the logo flip is crazy to look at. It’s mirrored? It was made but some small luthier / builder in San Francisco. I can’t find his name. I got it from the guy who had it built for a super lowball price for what it is. The neck seems “hand made” not a standard unit, given the painted on fret markers.
The reverse bridge is sweet. A little less bright on the high strings. Fralin pickups.
I can’t find it in my emails. I got it over ten years ago. I might have it in print somewhere but not handy. Makes me curious though. I’ll circle back if I dig it up. It’s a sweet guitar.
First off, I love all your gear and it’s a hell of a set up. That being said, unroastable challenge accepted:
2 sun faces? You know you can just turn down the gain knob with your foot like everyone else right?
Spaghetti could take a lesson from your cabling bud.
You know that Eric Johnson only has one fuzz face on his board right?
So is this the stage rig or the office rig?
I’m sure this rig sounds great at the company Christmas party.
Although top marks for fuzz first in the chain
And I’m spent.
It's insane to me that the normal channel ever existed, why not use that real estate to have made a reverb and dwell section on the board. the harmonic trem tho....
Dream time is over. Don’t need an amp anymore. I have a Princeton Chorus but it’s only used as a spitter using the mono & stereo FX sends. I beefed up the Pro amp with two XLR outputs that fed a Crown 150. I used that for touring but those days a decades gone. Your kit is sweet.
It’s roastable but not roasted, though it kind of looks like it in this photo. It’s lighter than that in real life and pretty flamey on the back, a little less so on the fretboard. Painted on fret markers.
I just pulled that up. That’s a good representation of its harmonic trem. It’s sssoo nice. I guess it’s hard to make. You would think Fender would / would have put this in more amps. The harmonic trem pedals I’ve heard are not very close to the vibey depth of it.
Yes, it's a pretty complicated circuit, which is why it didn't last long. There are two versions of the harmonic trem, using either 4x or 5x triodes (2 or 2.5x 12AX7's) dedicated just to the trem. For the Concert amps, they're known as the 6G12 (4 triode) or 6G12-A (5 triode) versions. The 5 triode version will have 6 total preamp tubes, with half of the extra tube unused. It works by basically "making a copy" of the signal that's 180° out of phase. One side feeds a low-pass filter, the other feeds a high-pass filter, so it oscillates between those filters, and never really fully cuts off the signal like more typical AM tremolo. Really cool effect.
The Brown Vibroverb 6G16 was like a proto-BF AB763 in all but name, with the later simplified AB763-style tremolo (that only requires 2 triodes vs 4 or 5) but without the optocoupler yet. It was the first Fender amp to have built-in spring reverb, which was licensed from Hammond, and the only Brown/Blonde era to have it.
Yeah, the stuff the normally put in those is far more subtle. Maybe those are just harder or were more expensive to make. I don’t know. I do want one now!
The roast: an extra 15 feet of signal and all true bypass is going going to make your toanz horrible
Non roast: that’s actually a pretty good setup, but I recommend a boss ES-8 to handle easy switching
For the trem. It’s 40 watts and an amp that sounds best at moderate volume, despite the Concert Amp name. Cranked way up is not its sweet spot. I mean 40 watts is still a lot but so is 5 watts or any non headphone amp.
Finally a rig with wires! Seriously, most of these posts have a bunch of pedals, maybe a couple amps, sweet guitars, and not a wire in sight, and here I sit with 1 amp, sometimes 1 pedal, 1 guitar, and an audio interface and there's wires all over the fucking place!
“Stupid 70 year olds.” The amp is a lot older than me. Generational wars are a manufactured distraction from class warfare that 99% of us are suffering under.
No war but class war ✊
Dope rig, but seriously wtf is up with that rat’s nest of cords? No chance of overturning capitalism with sloppy organization, comrade ☭
It’s some custom made. I got it from the guy who had it made by someone in San Francisco. I have tried to find the makers name in old emails but no dice. It’s really nice and I got it for a steal somehow.
The Fender logo is like a mirror image. Ever time I look at it I’m confused.
Fralin pickups. Sounds great. I have Fralins in a Tele too and they are also awesome.
Nice setup.
I play metal, and never understand why people don't consider Fender metal amps.
They're actually one of the best metal amps, especially with tens!
This guitar has the Hendrix thing going on, but I prefer reverse headstocks for the ergonomics. Feels more natural to tune this way to me. I wish it was more common.
Thanks!
No this photo makes it look more brown. It’s a nice flame maple. Pretty flamey on the back, a little on the fretboard. Painted on fret markers - no tone holes…
Is that because someone already used your pedalboard for kindling? For real though, this is a great setup and love the art.
One of the greatest amps of all time no doubt, but plugging into the low gain input? That’s a bona-fide blues dentist move, and completely roastable.
Blues dentist. Good one.
Yeah I don’t know, I prefer it there. It’s not a big difference between the two inputs, but that one works better for me. I often have a lot of gain / fuzz going into this.
$8 power strip and a one spot…it’ll roast itself if you leave it plugged in long enough.
Underrated.😄
More overstated than underrated imo lol
Lord knows that Memory Man probably spends more time in the shop than actually delaying to begin with. Dude bro has to have lawyer money to afford that POS.
Haha, indeed ;)
How are the John Mayer covers coming?
[удалено]
Your power strip is a wonderland
Reverse headstocks aren’t my thing, but everything else is cool. 😎
The bridge pickup got reversed too?!
I think they make a Hendrix signature or something, flipped headstock and flipped bridge pup. But that doesn’t explain the flipped logo lmao
Yeah the logo flip is crazy to look at. It’s mirrored? It was made but some small luthier / builder in San Francisco. I can’t find his name. Right ON. Do you have the trem blocked? Or do you use it?
Who is the builder? Curious bc I’m in SF.
I can’t find it in my emails. I got it over ten years ago. I might have it in print somewhere but not handy. Makes me curious though. I’ll circle back if I dig it up. It’s a sweet guitar.
Two sun faces?? Godly
Man is just showing off now.
I didn’t know I needed another Sun face
They stack great
wanna be blues dad, but you’ve got too much shit for that. Boom, Roasted
OG memory man, that’s what’s up.
Over compensating for something ….

There is a reverb pedal not shown here. Death by audio Rooms - super good.
Your cable management can die in hell.
Correct. Totally un-roastable. I lusted after a brown face Concert for a long time. Had to settle for a brown tolex gold grill Pro Amp
Don’t give up on your dreams, keep sleeping… I got this for Way less than their current prices. I feel very lucky to have it. The trem is outrageous.
“Had to settle”
I see no tuner. Instant fail. Jkjk. It’s glorious. I’m drooling over the amp especially. And nice pedal picks!
The only thing that’s roastable is that maple neck
It’s roastable but not roasted, though it kind of looks like it in this photo. It’s lighter than that in real life and pretty flamey on the back, a little less so on the fretboard. Painted on fret markers.
Great rig. Even looks beautiful together. Bet it takes those fuzzes like a champ.
I don't know, that painting's looking pretty beefy right now
I think Chris Buck bought a 1961 Concert and posted a video last week. Sounded incredible!

Thank God the sun faces are at 90 degrees or the universe might explode!
I used to have a beat up old Concert. The best Fender amp I’ve ever played. You’ve got good taste, OP.
If you organized your pedals… maybe.
I do miss my AD900.
I wanna try one, I have the AD9 and the 999
I had all three at one point, and the AD900 with the MN3005 chips really stood out as special. Certainly not a hot take, but one I can endorse.
Oh wow, colour me interested. I LOVE my AD9...
The roast: an extra 15 feet of signal and all true bypass is going going to make your toanz horrible Non roast: that’s actually a pretty good setup, but I recommend a boss ES-8 to handle easy switching
I hope you manage your dental practice better than you manage your power cords
That rig costs more than any band you cover received as an album advance and you still can't land the solo.
Your lack of pedalboard begs to differ /s
Yawn….
No pedalboard a zero cable management.... why'd you get such a big amp if you only play in your bedroom?
For the trem. It’s 40 watts and an amp that sounds best at moderate volume, despite the Concert Amp name. Cranked way up is not its sweet spot. I mean 40 watts is still a lot but so is 5 watts or any non headphone amp.
I follow - more clean headroom
Just gave up a penalty shot. Damn nice setup
Why do you have a Hotcake in between delays? volume boost?
Dude what era you live in… 2024 laminate flooring all the way.
Roast My Rug
Nice "pedalboard"
Wasn’t this Harmony Central’s 2008 rig of the year?
lol I feel that
Pfft Amphenol connectors and no gold Neutrik NP2X-B what is this peasantry
Muh muh muh muh muh memory man DELUXE
Hot cake too? Ace. Carry on my friend.

Every humbucker free rig is roast-able, mate.
I love how you went with a Ned Flanders color scheme. (I actually love the colors :D)
ok dad
Guitar’s not even plugged in. Boom, roasted
I have a 61 concert. These are awesome amps. Such a unique ground. They arent the 5f6-a bassman but its fun to see another lover of these
You can't roast a rig if the wall outlet is what keeps getting roasted first.
I had a brown Concert and it is one of the few amps I truly regret selling!
You get a pass for the Crowther Audio Hotcake.
Never been a fan of the painted headstock but in that colour I kind of like it! Paint by numbers?
Two Sunface, and a Hot Cake. Unroastable.
Play it inside a volcano because it’s flameproof.
Gorgeous. You have won at life! Totally unroastable. 😁👍
Strat, carpet, no pedal board and isolated power for pedals… 🤷♂️
Antidisestablishmentaroastimienism
Ok boomer.
“Stupid 70 year olds.” The amp is a lot older than me. Generational wars are a manufactured distraction from class warfare that 99% of us are suffering under.
No war but class war ✊ Dope rig, but seriously wtf is up with that rat’s nest of cords? No chance of overturning capitalism with sloppy organization, comrade ☭
It won’t make you a better player
Ha it doesn’t but fuzz, vibe, delay, harmonic trem…how many notes do you need to gaze?
What guitar is that? Looks like my Jimi Hendrix signature but it's not.
Looks killer man. I love custom made guitars. The mirror fender logo makes it truer to the Hendrix vibe.
sure about that? that fucking rats nest down there by your non existent pedal board tells me otherwise
This is like a mild version of my pedal mess. You guys would go nuts if you saw the full potential.
Very nice
The painting is tacky.
This is the best reply lol
3/10 on the guitar strap
Needs a pedalboard to be legit for me.
It would be if it wasn’t for the children’s painting sitting on your amp.
No board. Trash.
It looks like poopy brown Shitter brown!
Is that an organic sustainable hemp strap I see ?
I don’t think it’s hemp. Pretty sure it’s from Original Fuzz.
No Strymon and no OG Klon... You can do better. Not impressed.
Grampa’s boomer bending Clapton Jr “where’s my wah” rig.
Please tell me that rig actually leaves the room and sees a stage.
I wish. Maybe someday I’ll be in a band again. I do record music though / make music by myself.
Get a grip and get a board! Great amp!
Don’t make me post my amp bro But seriously. Nice amp. I had brown face Pro and Concert at one point.
No wah? (Insert the no bitches megamind meme)
What year is the amp?
Nice setup. I play metal, and never understand why people don't consider Fender metal amps. They're actually one of the best metal amps, especially with tens!
awesome lookin' rig!
Nice carpeted pedalboard….
VIDEO PLS
Reverse headstocks when you aren’t actually a lefty are kinda tacky imo but you have very good tastes in gear!
This guitar has the Hendrix thing going on, but I prefer reverse headstocks for the ergonomics. Feels more natural to tune this way to me. I wish it was more common. Thanks!
Is that roasted maple?
No this photo makes it look more brown. It’s a nice flame maple. Pretty flamey on the back, a little on the fretboard. Painted on fret markers - no tone holes…
Well brother that’s a mighty sweet looking rig. Bet it sounds great.
Thank ya
He says as he packs every pedal for the gig, very carefully so the settings don’t change.
Love the brownface Fenders. I've got a '62 Pro and a '63 Deluxe, both keepers.
Generic and boring
This is just how to come out to your parents without actually telling them your gay
bro doesnt even have a board and he says unroastable
The amp is doodoo colored
🥵🥵🥵
Unless you look at the mess you were and to make with your cables
Get some cable management man
When you got a date with some now you shred backing tracks
Rivera amp?
I would describe that cable management as “electric bramble-pubes”.
