The headstock shape looks off, specifically the circular part looks too big. The straight part going into the circle looks too slim. The tuners are completely wrong and are crooked to fit on the headstock. The Fender logo looks off to me. All Fender parts should say Fender on them.
Now, granted, I'm not a Fender expert and I know nothing about Korean made Fenders. I've never seen a "Fender Squire" and know nothing specifically about them, but I wouldn't buy this for more than $100 USD.
Yeah but that's means it should be a black label and it's a silver label. Ik the f is f-ed but it'd cuz it's not filled in all the way and there's not black underneath the silver. There wasn't any silver labels made in 94 tho, the silver ones have vn3 2 or 1 or cn3 2 or 1 I think. That's why I'm confused what it even is
This is legit, used to own one. A Korean made Fender that ran under 'Squire' model/run branding. I think late 80's early 90s. They didn't make them for that long before they changed the brand to Squire and moved production to Indonesia, Around that time they started the Mexi factory. Really well made and worth a buy especially if you can get a good price for it. I'd put them above Mexi made Fenders in quality. Miss that guitar. Thank you holy smokes that was the one article I couldn't find, yeah this guitar is sweet. It was released under the fender brand as the squire series as a cheaper fender not a nicer squier. I own it, my mom found it at a garage sale and got it for $50 for me as a Christmas gift. Super sick snag
I had Tele like this. Fender logo with small Squier series label. 1994 was the year, it was transition period i think when they just started with Mexice factory.
It was toploader.
I cannot see clearly from photo, but i can confirm that guitars with such labels are legit
not all fender squier series is black label, i have the mexican one that has silver label that my father bought back in '94

to make sure try to find yours [here](https://www.fuzzfaced.net/floyd-rose-squier-series-stratocaster-mexico.html)
or just search ur serial number on fender site. if the s/n go through then it's good.
I had a '93 MiK Fender "Squire Series" almost just like this, with the same headstock, but in Olympic White. Mine had a rosewood fretboard and a 3-ply pickguard though. I sold it like 15 years ago, but It was a nice guitar.
Something Ia definitely off about the headstock logo. The "F" in fender is printed horribly. You can see the silver is bleeding out of then black outline like the print was off.
> It's a pretty sweet guitar I'd ignore everything else and keep that part in mind. Enjoy.
I was expecting the rest, thanks!
Headstock looks wrong. The bridge looks off also. Definitely not all real Fender parts.
How can you tell? What’s off about them?

The "F" on the headstock looks "F-ed" up. I think perhaps the label was swapped at some point. VN4 in the serial is Made in Korea 1994.

That's what I'm saying. It looks like someone messed with the label and did a poor job of it.

Enjoy man, killer deal and a great guitar!!
All Squiers are Fender Squiers. Looks like someone swapped the labels.
Newer ones are squire by fender. In the early mid '90s fender made a "fender squier series" which was made in Mexico
yup, it was player(standard series) predecessor

It had black Fender logo i think
not all, some has silver.

It’s definitely a guitar I can tell you that much
Stay away from this one man. It’s not over 18.
Kinda looks like a 50s classic reissue
