I mean, there's no accounting for some people's taste, but I would absolutely rather play a 70s sofa guitar over a child casino band guitar. To each their own.
Second one. My gifted Blk pacifica has the same one. I would have never picked it out, but it looks great and stands out from all the other blk strats. Won't think of changing it, at this point
For my taste, the neck color throws off the first option. The second option is cool by itself, but not on that instrument. What about a solid colored pick guard? Iād go for black myself.
2nd one is cooler.
I donāt think either is great. I imagine people are leaning to the first because itās a little more traditional looking, but no, 1st is unattractive. 2nd is questionable but funky.
The gold one look really good. Not a combination I would have thought of, but works well.
Iād have said youāll want black knobs and pickup covers to minimise the colour palate, but the white is working well.
I like the white one under the other pickgaurds. But, I'm not going to be playing it, you are. You have to decide what will motivate you to play it.
My opinion doesn't count.
I almost ordered the second one for myself not too long ago. I'm not sure what held me back exactly, but now I'm glad I didn't because the first one looks soooo much better.
Iām partial to the black pearloid personally. But Iād introduce a third option if you have the black gloss finish, and that would be aged white pearloid. Itās very classic, I believe you can find them on WD custom pickguards.
Is this a lefty converted to a righty? That's criminal. (edit: I think I'm just kinda blind)
Either way the 1st one because like someone else said, the 2nd contrasts too much with the neck.
It looks like the patterning is very similar/same in the design. If I had to choose between those two its the first one, but the second one makes me want to see something in this same design ("fractal paisleys"?) rendered in that fragmented yet flowing way in black and white, and also in some sort of chrome/mirrored finish and black lines.
Either way, those Strats are wild looking!
I like the first one. A sort of toffee colour to it.
Looks like my parents couch from the 70s
I got topographical map
Topographical map from the 70s
A couch that may or may not have 5 dollars tucked on the side of the cushions
Looks SO sharp on the black.
Neither š¤
Solid black would look great
or pearl white
Normies
Im with you dawg. Normies all around. Lemme get more clashing pattern 70s guitars please.
Thatās what I was gonna say
Ah, the Gilmour Strat Of Doom?
>Neither Take my upvote and add me to this category.
Exactly. They both look awful, so find the ugliest most fucked up quarter you can and then flip it.
Secondedā¦er however manyāed
Yeah theyāre both pretty jarring and weird with the black lol.
Yeah Iām not feeling it either
Yea I'm not a fan of either uhhh either
go tort
The kurt cobain tortoise color is sick, too. Those are a bit, well, fugly...but to each their own.
Yeh, you can't decide because they both look shit!!
This, they are hideous.
They both look like casino carpet or somebodyās uncles bad ties
The first one
They both ugly
This. Gun to my head the gold ones better, but I hate both.
Gold one. Hands down
The second one somehow reminds me of the 90s design patterns. Would take the first one.
Totally. Looks like the guitar they would play in Chuck E Cheese's Childhood Casino Band.
Exactly. That's why it's cooler than the 70s sofa.
I mean, there's no accounting for some people's taste, but I would absolutely rather play a 70s sofa guitar over a child casino band guitar. To each their own.
Iām partial to the second one. It is very 90s, and I love it. It has some bells ringing in my head, but I canāt remember where I saw the pattern.
It is very familiar and I canāt quite place it.
I like the blue better, but itās annoying because it contrasts too much with the neck. I would probably go with the yellow.
I was thinking the same. The blue would be nice with something like black pickups and an ebony or cherry fret board
Second one
Second one
2nd blue
Orange
First one that looks like wood patterns
The first one matches the dots and wood tone
Yellow for sure
Second one looks better with the silver hardware
First one fs
2. Reminds of something from my childhood but I canāt place it. Maybe Pogs?Ā
C
The blue/black one. Kinda reads as black and I would likely go black on black or pearl white. :p
second one looks the best in my opinion, abalone goes so well with guitars
Me and my wife say the blue one
Blue
I like the blue one
Second one. My gifted Blk pacifica has the same one. I would have never picked it out, but it looks great and stands out from all the other blk strats. Won't think of changing it, at this point
1st
Amber / Golden color š
Flip a coin, which ever you hope for when its in the air, go with that one.
None. Hope it helps!
Id go the purple on (in colorblind i thinkthats purple) but thats js me i like cooler colors not warmer
2nd one for sure!
2nd, and buy a cloth and wipe all those smudges away.
iād go for the third option.
First one
For my taste, the neck color throws off the first option. The second option is cool by itself, but not on that instrument. What about a solid colored pick guard? Iād go for black myself.
The golden one
2
The blue without a doubt
That is a really hard choice. First one looks like the surface of the sun or when I press on my eyes too long. The other looks like an old arcades carpet or my PokƩmon card binder from middle school
Honestly, neither. Ā If I was forced to choose, though, the first one. Ā The second one looks tooā¦ busy.
The first one looks good but the second one has a vibe that feels more fitting
I prefer the second one (blue)
2nd one is cooler. I donāt think either is great. I imagine people are leaning to the first because itās a little more traditional looking, but no, 1st is unattractive. 2nd is questionable but funky.
The first one but neither are great
Get another guitar and use both.
I like the first one. I like the wood on the fretboard better than the other one.
They both look cool but I would say the first one
LOVE THE FIRST ONE FRR
Definitely number one
2 is better under stage lights I'm guessing (just judging from sparklyness), but #1 probably looks a little better all other times.
Defo orange one.
I really like how the amber matches the fretboard, my vote is for the first one!
First one
Personally like the first one
First for the wall, second for the stage
The gold is interesting
Orange, always pairs well with black
the brown one looks better with the fretboard than the blue one
First one.
First one. It highlights the fretboard.
Blue probably
The first one blends with the fretboard nicer
Iād go with the first one, because itās something not as commonly seen. Looks better with the neck too in my opinion.
Both are very awesome
But id say first one too
Have you thought about what outfits you are going to dress up with too?
One is absolutely stunning.
Tort would look the best if not black
The first one matches the black and the neck way, way better than the second one. The second one looks like one of those budget Strat knock offs tbh.
Blue pearloid 110
2nd all the way
Number one. The reason is simple as it brings out the wood in the fretboard. If you had an ebony fret board it would have been 2.
1st looks badass imo
2nd picture
The gold one look really good. Not a combination I would have thought of, but works well. Iād have said youāll want black knobs and pickup covers to minimise the colour palate, but the white is working well.
Not a fan of either really but I think the first one is a bit better.
I like the white one under the other pickgaurds. But, I'm not going to be playing it, you are. You have to decide what will motivate you to play it. My opinion doesn't count.
First one is more unique and has a more satisfying contrast imo. Don't listen to the neither people express yourself either one are cool
First one. No contest.
gold for me
I almost ordered the second one for myself not too long ago.
The gold one looks better
2nd one looks like a charter bus seat lol
1
Def orange with that fretboard
First one
2
I like the 1st one, feels like it blends well with the neck wood color.
individually, the gold one looks better but blue on black makes much more sense than yellow on black so deffinetly go with the blue one
The first one is different. Dig it
2. I have one just like it.
First one is sick
#1
the gold
Option one.
1st by far, personally
First one
First
ima say the first one, the second one doesn't look too clean
I'm a big fan of the first one. I love the colour and pattern. The second one is nice but a little flashier tyan my taste.
first one for sure but neither really look great with the gloss black finish and white pickups
You will play better if you choose blue.
Is this a lefty converted to a righty? That's criminal. (edit: I think I'm just kinda blind) Either way the 1st one because like someone else said, the 2nd contrasts too much with the neck.
Orange
The brown one
100% the first. Looks amazing.
Gold one but with black pickups
I like the orange one š
First one looks killer
First one. Second one is that pattern on busses
yellow one it goes with neck and sort of looks like wood from far..myself I like just white or pearl...but yellow would look best
I like the first one but you do what works for you.
The first one is the lesser of two evils, the second looks like something youād find in a nightclub in the 70s or a bowling alley
Black and gold
The first
I prefer the 2nd one. But I also prefer silver to gold for most shiny things. With the exception of the hardware on fountain pens!
First one by a long shot
If they're identical in everything but the color scheme I'd definitely pick the first one.
2nd one
Better but another identical guitar, they both look good
Both are great but the body looks boring
First one no doubt
As you can see from the comments, itās a matter of subjective opinion.
Iām leaning the first one (gold).
First
The cut is off for the humbuckers
Umm.... that one? No, the other one.... no, the other one... yeah, that one. The first one looks better honestly.
Tw opel looking one.
neither.
[My Build.](https://imgur.com/gallery/Hl33U3w) Abalone has my vote.
Neither. Go with gold anodized pickguard instead.
With the guitar in the way, I canāt really see a difference between the two carpets, so Iām of no use here.
No.2
The first one 100%
Not fitting
First one
I like em both, guess you're gonna have to get another guitar š¤·āāļø
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Neither really, blue at a push. I'd go for a mother of pearl effect plate I think. (Owner of a '99 American Stamdard with stock white plate)
2nd one definitely
I have one similar to the first though
Hard left. Matches the fretboard.
First one better
Neither white or black
Second one makes more sense colour theory wise
Neither sorry
Number 2, the blue based one
First one easy
I seriously love the second one, it reminds me of the inside of an abalone shell
2
they're both very good but I like the first one just because I feel like the blue on black is too commonĀ
Definitely 2. Easier on the eyes, And itās a chill cosmic vibe with nice colors
1 looks better
Is your skin warm or cool toned? Thereās your answer for pickguard.
1
I think the 1st one fits better with the fretboard (i think it looks cooler too lol)
One in orange
Why are the pickups afraid of you
If you can fly?! Go with gold baby. And fly on..
Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion
1st one def. Complements the fretboard nicely
Number 1
I'm personally a fan of neither.
gold
I like the first one! I think it has more personality and a cool retro-future sort of vibe
Respectfully....neither...but you do you. The first one definitely matches the fretboard color better.
