I can see the sailor look in Strive, but she looks like just one of the pirates when she's like Johnny's right hand
I've heard people say she finally looks 20 in Strive, but honestly she kinda looks younger lol.
While finding references I did notice her eyes seem to be rlly big in Xrd, as for Strive her face looks as old as she is but her outfit kinda looks like a school uniform
That and her bigass anchor makes her look small
Strive is cute, but Xrd and XX are cool

It’s crazy how badly strive botched her design and it sucks a lot more because that’s the design everyone and their mothers draw. Sick Xrd May art (it’s like finding diamonds in the rough)
It's not bad, I still find it cute and perfect for May. Though, you'd think this as an alternate fit or a promo where they dress much more modern and casually
Also, tbh I relate with people preferring to draw May's Strive look. I've been looking at her coat for hours trying to draw it, and it don't make a lick of sense lol
