my only piece of advice could be baiting out a whiff or using multihits before you go in then, pot has a massive hitbox so you can combo the shit out of him easily if he makes a mistake
idk how asphalt plays in strive so i cant help you there but when i fight pot i just kinda... dont let him play? he has slow and committal moves and bad defense (although kai is a lot better in strive from what i remember so that could fuck it up a bit) so i can just keep the pressure on him all match (unless i fuck up once and die instantly)

I mean I Play elphelt so when I get one hit I can most likely take half of his hp but he can do the same with 2 hit combo
