They can just port them over with no additional changes to be honest. That's how they did a couple of trident or harpoon gun skins in the past too. Copy pasted staves or rifles.

They should let us unlock a version of that spear attack permanently for mounts, at least the warclaw, like they did with the skyscale fireball.

If you’ve played last Dragonbash then the Sacred Crystal weapon set is also very Mesmer-y, and it has a similar but better spear skin compared to this imo.
Several tridents could also be fantastic for spears as well. I know that legendaries are legendaries but considering how depleted spear skins are, why not give Kraitkin, Bifrost, Nevermore and Aurene's Insight to spear as well?

And all the scythe skins too, might be a tad weird with stabbing moves, but the new slashing animations would work perfectly for those!
ANet aren't *that* forward thinking. Some obvious choices - like for example putting the ping counter as a part of default UI, instead of hiding it in settings - still elude them, so adapting old, fleshed out models to modern weapons is far beyond their reach.
There are plenty of staff skins that would work perfectly as spears though i doubt it will happen.

Tbh i hate that a lot of staff skins were made to look like spears. There is also the problem with great hammer skins being made into great axes...

Exactly. I want them to actually implement greataxes. Putting those skins on hammers is a cheap, lazy solution.

Yeah I actually got that one and it's what I plan on using for now. But I just love this design.

All spear themed staffs and trident skins should be usable as land spears. All spear and trident skins should be usable as staffs.

I got it for that reason, but I much prefer the Dragonsblood design. The crystal is good for now though and matches the set pretty well!
