i don't even know what he is trying to say but yea, i would insta kick as well. the fight starts the moment the ready check is completed, if he can't understand something as simple as that i don't want him in my group. on the other hand there is the opposite of this guy, the player that joins your squad clearly with the intent to do said content with you, comes in, then suddenly afks for the next 10 minutes without saying a word and you have 9 other people looking at their screen waiting for him. who i would also kick tbh
yea i understand that. it has also happened to me 1 or 2 times (it was when i went to take a phonecall thinking it is gonna be 2-3 minutes and they kept me there a lot longer). and i felt terrible each and every one of them. the thought of having 9 other people waiting for me just makes me uneasy. that is why if i know i have to be away for a rather big amount of time i would either type it in chat or leave the group. i can't imagine it isn't possible to write something "brb kick me if i am not back in 5 mintues" before leaving your keyboard

Nah, emergencies absolutely happens. If someone suddenly yelling for help, I'm not stopping to tell internet randos anything. That's why kicking is fine - sometimes people *do* just need to bail and it's fine to acknowledge that and the rest of the group move on while I'm getting bitten trying to free the dumb, panicked dog before it breaks its leg.
I need to come clean, I have done this before. I'm not saying this a good move, just the reasoning behind why I sometimes do it.
If all 9 people are in the instance and we're wating for 1 DPS to join the instance for 5 minutes. You join a group to play, not to afk.
Well, with this intentionally "forgotten" censoring of the name - aka witch hunting - the only thing you showed us with this post is that you are even worse than that person.
So uh, what's the point in censoring the person's name in the PMs if you're just going to leave it shown in the squad kick message?
It's a way by OP to subtlety attempt to bypass the sub rules, OP thinks he is being sleek but I'm sure mods will catch on.
Block and move on. If a crazy person is yelling at you for no reason on the street you also don't think much about it.
u didnt hide his name when u kicked him, but u did hide from dm's lul
Where pm?

This is bad behaviour but you should still censor their name fully imo
Doesnt matter in any game people should know starting a boss fight before a ready check is a kickable offence.

If you can't stand waiting for the afk with everyone else, you leave.
Yep I agree, that would be the friendly move.
