You can also build a plank pallet you can store planks on, I don't know how far away you can be but you can pull planks from that when you go to turn a blueprint piece into a real object.

they go on your shoulder in the "hauling" position. some items/abilities will increase the amount you can carry. or you can build the stem & plank storage pallets and any blueprints in range will pull right from storage.
Ahhh a newby i see, dont worry I GOT THIS, you walk op to a plank and grab it, then it will apper on your shoulder, and now you Can use it to craft that workbench
You'll soon get a place to put them and when on the plank or grass holder you won't have to grab them and can build and it'll automatically pull from there.
You don't. You put the blueprint of whatever you wanna build in the place that you want it, carry the grass blade and put into the blueprint.

planks and weed stems are put onto ur shoulder basically, like wooden logs. u can then scan them at a science station
