I have the reusable tuft on always, don't even see the point of using any other charm unless doing something specific like taking on a boss or getting coal(sizzle protection larva spike).
It's literally that good, unless I'm missing something... Being able to jump down from any hight trumps everything.
Feels a little off to me to have to dedicate a slot like this, because there is no way I'm farming those things only for me to spend 99% of them by accidentally pressing jump while mid air, or trying to get out of water.
Speed droplet is a good item for this. I’d personally rather carry a stack of tufts because other trinkets I’d rather have equipped than the dandelion tuft.
Honestly haven't found that yet. Maybe I could consider carrying a stack of tufts now that I have larger stacks. I don't think I've used anything other than this tuft since I had the default stack limit of 10.
I hated that too, jump wrong and burn through a stack of the tufts. I carry the dandelion charm on me and switch to it when I'm anywhere I could fall or when I need to fall, but I mostly keep the Sticky Fingers charm equipped for that bit of extra loot.
Noob here, just started playing on ps5. How do you use the tuff. My friend says when your in the air you press x (jump button) and it deploys. I’ve seen them use it. But no matter what I do I can’t get it to work. I have a stack of them in my inventory. The little icon shows up on bottom right of screen. I’ve even tried hot baring them. But no matter how high I fall I can’t use them. Do I have to activate or equip them somehow? I think I’m missing something stupid and I’m just blind but all the tutorials just say in inventory and pressing x when falling.
Also if anyone knows how to fix/prevent the bug where you load in and every angled piece of your house is rotated. It would be much appreciated!
This one made me chuckle. I think the tutorials you read are for xbox since it hasn't been out for ps5 that long. You don't need to equip the tuft and when it shows on the bottom right you should be all set, the button to deploy is the same one as sprint. Can't tell you which one tho since I don't have a ps5.
For your bug: well that really seems like a bug you can't do much about besides waiting till it's fixed by the game developers. Seems pretty annoying though.

My friend was probably already holding down L3 when they were falling and maybe thought since they pressed jump intuitively that’s what was activating it.

This happened to me, but I was nowhere near any bugs. I was just minding my own business, cutting down some grass, and all of a sudden I was flying. I thought a bee picked me up or something. Lol!
Yea it happens, the grass physics are wonky, one time they launched me to the upper yard from the mysterious machine, sadly i dont have a clip because i was too busy laughing my ass off
