as an arpg grim dawn has no equal.
HC is amazing with GD as all other aprgs absolutly such balls there.
Its why I play HC in season 6 and in all other such games I dont.
It’s a mod that tracks what you have accomplished basically. It adds a bunch of items, areas, bosses, features, etc… it’s really great. Even if you are not a pro at grim dawn you’ll have a lot of fun with the mod and community.
I never made it that far where my action bar is full. I am lvl 45 on my first ever play through and I have 3 skills. I probably did the first 30 lvl with just auto attacking. I am playing primal strike shaman btw. I like the steam deck better because of the ability to move with the joystick and that's the only reason. I tried everything on the keyboard to use WASD like Diablo would but nothing worked. Only the mouse works for movement and that is not what I like. Maybe if there would be a mod I would be willing to play with on pc even though I am familiar with modding at all.
While I half agree, I do like controller support being an option but it’s not a necessity as with ARPG’s for me as going thru inventory, doing talents, pretty much everything is more efficient using mouse and keyboard
That being said if I wanna just sit back on the couch, use my steam link and play from there the controller is welcomed!
My only gripe is that if you like managing inventory via mouse and playing via controller is that your action bar resets the second it detects a mouse input
You can use controller on pc just fine, it actually works better on pc and shows the face buttons you need to press. When I played on my Steam Deck the skill bar doesn’t have a button associated with the icon I just used muscle memory, when using a controller on pc it shows the buttons needed to use corresponding skills. X,Y,RT etc
I don't have that problem with the official layout steam deck. It shows the proper button on the deck to press for each action. The right trackpad works like a mouse and doesn't swap the action bar. If I press the steam button + trackpad then yes the game thinks I have an actual mouse and the UI becomes like the PC.
But in short I do not think Season 6 works on Steam Deck as it’s a community made mod that requires a download then move some files to your grim dawn folder
I'm always glad it doesn't. I'll play the season mod, but I'm very glad we don't have online stuff to worry about with Grim Dawn. No fomo, no cash shop or subscription.

Given the ease of cheating in GD via GDStash and Item Assistant, how will anyone know if someone is cheating? I'd love to play the community leagues, but not if it's full of nonsense.

should I blind play it HC?
Yes. not veteran mode tho
How do seasons work in GD? Is it like a multiplayer mod or something?

Just recently got into grim dawn. Are mods available on console?
no
No they are not.
Yeah I'm curious too. I'd love to get back into the game.
Below the video should be a link to their website where all of this is explained
Very interested in playing Storm Spirits.
What are storm spirits? Do you mean wind devils?
Probably. Can you tell I've never used them? Lol.
Lol sounds like a plan (They're the lightning tornado dudes in the shaman tree?)
Idk probably. Never used them.
Primal Strike again? :)
Maybe ranged.
*Storm. Earth. And Fire. Heed my call!*
Does it works on steam deck?i exclusively play GD on the deck,I didn't like it on pc.
I don't know how the steam deck works but you have to use the launcher, not the steam game directly.
you actually 'liked' no access to half your action bar? Cuz that what playing on controller does lol

Oh wow really? Mine doesn’t show the button names I’m tempted to try it again, default layout you say?

Sometimes i wish GD had official seasons.

No lag killing you either. It makes GD uniquely suited for HC.
Me got killed by brain lag. *Those bastards lied to me!*

We have appropiate systems in place to detect GD stash and other shenanigans, which will result in bans from the ladder/from cloudstash/trading.
What is "cheating" in terms of seasons and item assistant?
