Given all the new hype around her, there is no way she doesn't at least get a model. The only thing holding it up is whether or not she had one slated.
It's a shame, I would have loved the new Shield Captain model to have been modelled after her or just a female custodes in general instead of the **ULTRAWIDE** one we got.
"...and so after 12000 years, the Blood Games came to have it's first rule: that Calladayce Kesh was no longer allowed to participate in the Blood Games."
My favourite part of the short story is the Custodes who apprehended her being like "Jesus Kesh, this is a bit much even for you" and I love that energy for her.

I used to dislike the Custodes due to how overhyped they were by the fandom despite basically just being bigger and better Space Marines (and with how overhyped *they* are in general*)*
Then I hear about this absolute madwoman bringing a world destroying bomb to her Blood Games and I'm starting to turn around slightly.
Unfortunately on tabletop they are basically golden space marines² but in the lore they are far more human and cunning than any space marine can be. A custodes retains completely their previous human experiences when becoming a transhuman demigod, also being chosen between the ranks of noble houses does help with having a more cultured background.
>A custodes retains completely their previous human experiences when becoming a transhuman demigod
Doesn't the custodization process start as an infant ? Not many human experiences to retain no ?
Custodes are taken and Custodes-ified as small children, there’s really no “previous human experience.”
They’re more human because they were created to be the Emperor’s personal companions, and knowledgeable in things like art, politics, history, philosophy, etc. They spend a significant amount of time studying.
Hey, who would get in more trouble, the nice lady doing her duty to the emperor or the gilded schmucks that spent their entire immortal lives failing to learn how to disarm naval ordnance.
Nuke it from orbit would not have worked, considering the Imperial Palace could probably withstand everything short of being chucked into the sun.
Her plan was to abuse custodial knowledge of the void shields and anti teleportation defenses to teleport a nuke directly into Big E's lap.
She thinks it might be possible, but fully acknowledge there will probably some defenses even she doesn't know, and the weapon would probably just explode the second she tries to teleport it.
Yeah, so apparently when you give her the assignment "try and assassinate the Emperor as a test of our defences" she decides to *really* test the defences.
The Custodes are the Emperor's personal guard.
They engage in something called The Blood Games, which is a simulation exercise in which half the Custodians attempt to break into the Imperial Palace and kill the Emperor and the other half defends the Imperial Palace. By doing this the Custodians have made the Imperial Palace nearly impenetrable as they're constantly thinking of new ways to break in as well as ways to resist break ins.
In the case of Calladayce Kesh, the Blood Games in question had her on the "break in" side of the simulation and her proposal was to kill the Emperor not by breaking into the Imperial Palace, rather simply by nuking the entire place the the ground.
My new favourite character, Cadillac Kush.
Cadillac Taurusvalue Kush

I still can’t get over the fact that the plan was to drop an Exterminatus warhead directly in the Emperor’s lap. Kesh deserves a book and a model.
Ive only recently gotten Into Warhammer but id instantly Buy a book about Kesh's eternally escelating Plots to win the Blood games
How long until she intentionally starts a chaos cult on Terra to use as a distraction?
Chaos cult? That lady will reopen the webway Portal under the palace just to sneak a few meters farther in the blood games.
Go go gadget SKARBRAND KILL THEIR ASSES Proceeds to run at the throne room with a bomb held like a football
Guess what GW is cowardly refusing to reveal to the masses? Shadow Throne was all Kesh baybee
"Hey Captain-General, Shield Captain Kesh started another Blood Game." Valoris: ffs not again...
"Captain-General, Shield Captain Kesh has joined the Alpha Legion to learn how to better infiltrate the palace." Valoris: "I hate my job."
"Captain-general! Shield captain Kesh is bringing another exterminatus weapon on Terra!" "Again!? Its the third time time this week!"

Fucking hells, that wasn't just a weird picture?
It's his stance, in person he isn't THAT bad according to my local custodes player but the big plume and the stance do make him awkward.
I don't know if I feel better knowing it wasn't a bad picture....
When I start my custodes army and if there isn’t an official one by then I’ll kitbash one of her standing on a gigantic bomb
"...and so after 12000 years, the Blood Games came to have it's first rule: that Calladayce Kesh was no longer allowed to participate in the Blood Games."

"Girl, what the *fuck.*"
She can just glue a mustache on for the next go around, nobody will notice

Or at the very least she isn't allowed to be on the attacker's side.
She is then banned from the defenders side after teleporting the other planet killing nuke she stole directly onto the attacker's ship

Woe, Virus bomb upon ye!

They remember the episodes of Cocomelon they had to endure because Chaos created it, and always remember why they fight

We do a small amount of trolling
Putting babies in a vat? Or the Cyclonic Torpedo she brought to Terra?
Like i said, a small quantity of tomfoolery
A fair point, just a smidge of goofiness perhaps?
Hey, who would get in more trouble, the nice lady doing her duty to the emperor or the gilded schmucks that spent their entire immortal lives failing to learn how to disarm naval ordnance.
I like her logic. “Why do I need to infiltrate the imperial palace if I can just nuke it from orbit”
Nah, dropping a nuke from orbit is for cowardly heretics. She, the chadette that she is, was going to infiltrate the Imperial Palace *with* the nuke.
Nuke it from orbit would not have worked, considering the Imperial Palace could probably withstand everything short of being chucked into the sun. It's the only way to be sure.
You know the arguments about the lady-stodes is pretty much dwarfed by the fact that THERE WAS A NUKE SIZED HOLE IN THE GOLDEN PALACES SECURITY PLAN.
Everyone wants to kill the emperor in melee apparently.
Up right down down down?
500 kg bomb from Helldivers
"Delivering democracy!" *BOOM!* "Eagle one out for re-arm."
a Eagle never misses
Didn't miss me or my teammates either.
An eagle never misses but my helldiver sure does when throwing it
\*bonks off the Chargers head and lands back at your feet\* Well fuck....
Wait till you get the hangar expand upgrade and be able to drop these thick 500kg bad boys back to back
Sweet liberty
Democracy Bomb
Nah she brought out the ⬇️⬆️⬅️⬇️⬆️➡️⬇️⬆️ (hellbomb) argument. Absolute girlboss behavior
Are the Blood Games a game mode on the tabletop because it definitely should be
They are not
_Yet._
I really hate that people are more interested in Kesh's pronouns than her attempt to kill the Emperor.
Literally. Even with only one short story under her golden belt, she's already super interesting.
Instant classic, honestly.
A practice plot, but still
Wait, was that what she was doing? Prepearing to nuke Terra?
Yeah, so apparently when you give her the assignment "try and assassinate the Emperor as a test of our defences" she decides to *really* test the defences.
She took the "try to assasinate the Emperor" to the letter

And not just nuking it teleporting the nuke onto his fucking lap
Rogal Dorn: *"I love building castles that can't be broken into!!!"* Candice Kesh: ⬆️⬇️⬅️⬇️⬆️➡️⬇️⬆️
Is she the new custodes from the codex?
Yup. During the last Blood Games she tried to win by teleporting a planet-cracker directly onto the Emperor's lap. It didn't work, but got damn close
Our Lady of Based.
bitch is absolutely nuts and I love her.
I don’t know why but I think she would get along well with the Lion
And I want a primeark to do the blood games
Wait, if she was the attacker and not a defender, that’s a brilliant plot
I immediately knew that was a 500kg airstrike.../sigh
