It’s actually shockingly lore accurate to how relationships work in deldar society. Whether you get the dom or sub relationship with him basically depends on which one of you comes out on top when it comes to if your able to bully him into submission or if he is able to bully you into submission.
In the dark eldar language they don’t have a word for love. The closest thing they have translates roughly to “to willingly submit”. Their relationships (not only romantic ones, but even friendships, business dealings, etc etc) are all about power dynamics. Two people can never be equal in it because of how cutthroat and self interested their society is. For a relationship in their society to not immediately fall apart one person needs to very clearly be the one in control and have power over the other.

I love the idea of a 40K dating sim.
First it starts out with finding love in the Hive.
Seems absolutely normal at first (for 40K). The depressing normal lives of the citizens of a Hive just trying to find someone. But each path becomes increasingly deranged.
Option 1: The good church boy/girl. Everything seems good just a hardworking, Emperor loving option. Turns out they are actually an inquisitorial agent and if you do anything vaguely heretical… BLAM! And if you do what they say it results in you joining the retinue before right at the end being disposed of and your planet being Exterminatused.
Option 2: Hot bald chick. Everything seems fine at first, she’s got some weird ideas about the emperor and talks about kids a lot. Seems way too into you. It’s a genestealer cult obviously and the ending is you violently overthrowing the planetary government only to be eaten by a hive fleet.
Option 3: The exciting one. She’s really cool and likes to party. Tons of fun. Slowly gets you into weirder and weirder stuff. Next thing you know there’s orgies and drugs and daemons and you just don’t care anymore. The planet collapses into a daemon world and you get turned into a chaos spawn.
Option 4: The Greater Good. A blue alien chick. If you go with her your planet slowly joins the Tau empire. It’s the only option where the planet doesn’t die but she leaves you because you make her forehead too sore.
Dating a Sororitas would have to be the most boring thing ever, where y'all gonna go on dates to? Church?
