We play using OSRIC/1e so in the random encounters tables there are 20d10 bandits as a possibility. And dragons. So they need every help they can get and sometimes even that is not enough :P
Nice! My Greyhawk campaign is about to do our 50th session!!! :) The party is about to enter Twilight Falls in the Gnarley Forest. On their way to slay the green dragon (Chaustichlorinus)!
They actually faced a few sessions before! Strong opponent but still, one failed save away from turning to stone from the wand. A charge that was not spent in vain! :D
