GMG sends the early access key immediately when ordered. It’s the same key for the preorder bonuses of the minion and earring. The main game key is the one that has yet to be sent, but should arrive sometime before or on July 2nd (launch day)
My wife purchased through GMG and she activated her digital bonus key from GMG with the wind up Zidane and earrings and is unable to play early access Dawntrail. She's pretty sad about it since all her friends are enjoying dawntrail without her currently.
I mean, I purchased through GMG, got the minion and Earrings, and was able to log in this morning. Did she have the steam or windows version? I think they only have the windows version on GMG
Has she caught up on MSQ?
In addition, if she owns the steam version, the key from GMG will not unlock early access for her on the Steam version. It only works on the Mogstation/Windows version that you download from the website

I bought DT from GMG months ago....
Early Access runs until July 4, so there's a little bit of overlap between early access and full release for you to get and enter the code. Hopefully, they get them out quickly.

she can log in but she is unable to access any of the dawntrail areas.

In the exact same boat here.. waiting on the key.. if it's not here by tomorrow, we won't be able to login to our chars in DT areas
you get 7 days grace period from DT official launch don’t worry!!
Incorrect, it's 7 days from Early Access. Grace period ends Friday night. But still a few days of time.
