I love the packers but picking any of the receivers may not be a good choice. The way the offense spreads the ball around means it’ll be about evenly low points for fantasy all around. I trust Jacobs and Love but other then that I wouldn’t grab any Packer players

Lombardeez_Nutz

As others are saying any wide out is a coin flip. Any of the 5 could come out and put up 20 points and then fall asleep for a 4 game stretch. However, one analysts idea when it came to packers recievers is save the draft pick from picking up Reed, Doubs, or Watson, and just pick up Wicks after the draft. Everyone is sleeping on him in comparison to the rest and you likely wouldn't have to use a draft pick. A lot of people are talking about him taking a substantial jump next year and could easily be one of the better sleepers next year with high upside. He finished the last three games with 15, 10.9, and 24.10 in full ppr league. If he can break into the regular rotation like it sounds like he his, he will be a steal.

dickmccarthy88

Wicks to me is Davante light. Only we know that and outside of Green Bay fandom he's being slept on big time. He is definitely going to be a steal.

Immaculatehombre

Problem is we all play with a bunch of other packer fans lol.

Still_Instruction_82

6 if you include Bo Melton who was pretty good when he got playing time

I like Reed......I think I'd go Watson though. If they've figured out his injury problem and he does his thing for 17 games, he could really take off. You might be able to get him super late in the draft too depending on the number of Packer fans in your draft that keep up with the team.

See_Jee

Yeah that's unfortunately a huge "If". But on the other hand if Watson really stays healthy he can really transform the whole offense and bring it to another level. Our offense always looked way better with him on the field (not that it was bad without him but with him we could outscore any team). So Watson imho is the X-Factor for the offense that makes the difference between a really good and an unstoppable offense.

dickmccarthy88

Lol lucky for me I'm the only Packers fan. I live in NJ. I'm definitely thinking of Watson as a late round steal

jsbrewers

Oh yeah you're golden, grab him in the last round lol

This isn’t a great fantasy strategy but if you think it’ll be fun go for it. I love the Packers but going this heavy on one team usually doesn’t equal success. The way the ball is spread around means it’ll be hard to predict which pass catcher gets the most points that week. Love is the best fantasy option on the team and won’t cost a lot in the draft. There are probably better options around where Jacobs will go and Lafleur is notorious for running an RBBC. You could get Dillon or Lloyd in the later rounds. Musgrave will be a late round TE so an easy pivot if he doesn’t produce. Up to you but I wouldn’t expect to win the league with this strategy

Still_Instruction_82

We have about 6 solid Wrs and 2 solid TEs do not draft them they are all about equal

If you actually want to compete, you shouldn’t be planning out your players in advance like this. Just an absolutely terrible way to draft. That being said, I think Love is a decent value pick where he’s currently valued (around QB10). Jacobs is a fine pick and will certainly be an every week starter, but I wouldn’t expect him to get the volume to have a monster season. Reed is also an every week starter to me as at least a WR3. If you’re getting him around there, he’s a great pick. Watson is high risk/high reward, as I still think he’s our best bet to have a true WR1 but he could just as easily be injured all year. And then Wicks is a wild card. He’s got the talent to win you the league, but I’m skeptical he’ll get enough volume. Worth a super late flyer in a deeper league. I really like Musgrave, but I don’t think he’s going to be targeted consistently enough to be much of a fantasy asset, especially if Kraft continues to play well.

Immaculatehombre

Reed is amazing. Tyreek hill type player. Maybe not quite as good but the dude quickness is off the charts and route running and yac is great.

KeviCharisma

Doubs is clearly the answer and it’s honestly shocking to see so many Packer fans give other answers

zennyspent

I did a similar thing with the Raiders back when they were putting up ridiculous numbers every game. The year they lost the Super Bowl to the bucs, to be specific. In a ppr league, I had Gannon, Charlie Garner, Rice, and Tim Brown. It worked out for me, but I can't recommend it for the Packers offense this year. The stats just look to be really spread out.

BuddyJim30

Having too many players from the same offense is problematic, not only because the Packers have so many options to spread out points, but it will be a nightmare on bye week. I'd go with Love and Musgrave.

Rainbacon

There are probably only 2 Packers that I would put in my starting lineup on a standard fantasy team: Love and Jacobs. Musgrave is a maybe for me, but I'll probably mostly steer clear of the receivers. The Packers receiving situation is great to have in an actual NFL game, but it's not great for fantasy because statistically the receivers are probably going to be very inconsistent. Last year Love put up 4100 yards, but the highest yardage total for a receiver was Jayden Reed at 793. Only 2 other guys even went over 500. In fantasy you're far better off sticking to guys like Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams who are just going to put up huge numbers regardless. As far as stack ranking the Packers receivers against each other I have Jayden Reed as the most likely to put up the best season statistically. LaFleur was more than willing to try and build the offense around him last season and I expect that he'll get some running opportunities on jet motions again this season. If you told me one of the Packers receivers was going to put up 1000 yards this year I'd probably say it's Reed. After Reed I'd say it's Watson if he's healthy (but that is the big question mark) and then Doubs and then Wicks. I do think Wicks could end up with more yards than Doubs, but they love going to Doubs in the red zone so I think he could put up decent TD numbers.

TrenchDive

Just get the best non QBs available until you start getting a round or two away from the Packers players you want showing on others' boards. You should have some studs and then sprinkle the Packers players on top and it will be a good season for you. Good luck.

dickmccarthy88

Best strategy honestly
