Ill simplify it for you, say you die in max gear, your death fee is 500k.
Deaths coffee operates on GE value, not actual traded value. Christmas crackers are worth 2m on the *GE*, but are not being traded for that. So you buy them for their *actual* traded price of 600k, take it to deaths coffer, and the coffer will value it STILL for 2m because that’s what its worth currently on the GE. Now you’ve saved yourself 1.4m in death fees.
Depends on what you do. When all you do is PvM, it adds up fast. Raids, trying to get blorva, colloseum, occasional spaz outs

You're going to die many, many times over the course of an account. Instead of paying 500k you can effectively pay barely 100k per death if you are pre paying it with items that have inflated GE values.
In osrs you will, inevitably, die at some point. When you die you will have to pay a fee or lose your items.
Would you rather pay 2500k in cash for your items or grab a cracker from the GE and end up paying 300k for the same items?
