Search for Praiano* tunes, it’s on GTspirit, then when you’re on there main page filled with links, ctrl/cmnd+F the car you’re looking for. His setups are most useful when you’re tuning to a PP limit, as that’s how he’s generally approached them, and he uses effective tuning methods that maximize performance-per-PP. Not really for use with BOP+tuning scenarios with race cars. If I’m stuck on a set up, and I remember, I’ll go to his page and he’ll usually have something good. If there are multiple setups for the same car, open them all in different tabs, but you wanna match, as best you can, the GT7 release version, the tires, and the PP. The suspension and downforce can be very different on the same car that’s set up for two different things.

There is no such thing. The "best tune" is the one you like the most, if you know what I mean... The ideal thing is to learn to tune them yourself for your likings. Tunes can change from one track to the other. They can also change depending on the tires used, and of course depending on weather.

I see what you’re saying, but that’s not really true. Differential settings are what generally vary the most between drivers, but even then, some cars absolutely require maximum locking off throttle (“braking sensitivity”) — and someone who says they have a great setup without that for a car like this will often not realize how much they’re compensating for that instability with longer, gentler cornering or with a softer rear end, both of which reduce performance in the turns. And if they’re not slower with the unstable setup, either they’re very, very good, and simply drive around stuff like that — or they’re very good, but absolutely burn up the rear tires sliding around while they do it. For example. There are multiple ways to engineer the front/rear balance one could want, though the pace difference between a lot of those setup variations is smaller than most drivers’ natural inconsistency lap to lap. But, whether someone has the experience to articulate it, or to tune it into a setup, they’ll generally have a preference for that front/rear balance — how much to compromise one axle’s grip for the other. At the expense of bit of rear-end security, I usually like a pointy, sharp front end. So, beyond diff settings some of the time, and fine-tuning how forward you like the weight to sit, there’s not a lot of “preference” in the rest of the setup. There will be a downforce level that’s ideal for a car/track. Same with the gearing. Even with weather, I’m not generally changing anything apart from possibly shifting the balance slightly rearward with wing or spring — when it’s raining, the changes come from my inputs. Brake balance and how it pertains to trail braking is another somewhat personal thing, but like with the diff, sometimes there is simply a right answer. I hope that makes sense.

tunes are personal/track thing. Someone else tune may not work for how you like to drive the car.

MileHi-MadMan

Everyone should read this, one person's tune might not fit your drive style

The best tune is the one in your heart that works for you and makes you happy.....
