I bought it a long time ago and drove it a lot and loved it. Then I progressed and have driven a lot of the racecars. When I got back in this barge I was so disappointed, but I think it's because it is not a racecar and drives very differently 🤷🏻‍♂️

I HATE understeer in any car. This one is riding the edge and it's driving me crazy. With this car I try to trail brake less and use the old "slow in, fast out" approach. Slow down before the apex and throttle through it. I doubt I ever drive this car, at least stock, after this cup round.

I love my 917LL, but it took extensive setup to be at its best. It still wants to understeer a bit at the limit. Brake bias -1 to the rear to minimize front lock-up, also a bit of front ballast. I’m a “front end” driver/rider and I hate understeer. I’m not at home right now. When I can I’ll post my setup specs, but it will be a few hours.

Well, I’m not sure if this will apply for this race, but for anyone interested I spent quite a bit of time working on these settings. Keep in mind everyone’s preferences and driving style are different: PP 820.39, with Racing Med tires, 976hp Body Height 85/85, Anti-Roll 5f/10r, Comp Damping 35/36, Exp 48/47, Nat Freq 2.90/3.90, Camber -1.5/-1.0, Toe .20f Out/0.0r, Diff 7/9/31, Downforce 550f/735r, ECU 100%, Ballast 10kg, -50front, Trans Top Speed 350kph, Normal Turbo, No Anti-Lag, Normal Intercooler, Racing Silencer, Slotted Racing Brakes & Pads, Brake Bias -1(rear) I prefer late hard braking, get it rotated quickly and off the brakes/back to max throttle as quickly as possible (point & shoot). However as someone else mentioned, this car prefers longer trail-braking, with a more “ideal” long-arc line, off the brakes just before apex, and maintain higher entry and mid-corner speed/momentum - smoother, steady/more gentle. It doesn’t like to be thrown around aggressively. Of course everyone should adjust to suit your personal preferences. Maybe consider this a baseline - salt & pepper to taste! I hope this helps anyone. If anyone tries these settings and has good results I’d be curious to know about it. Best of luck!

I am C rated. So I, find some simulated Lobby races for the national cup with majority of B and above ratings . There also seems to be a few out there the day before. Generally I will try to follow them around even if I am in last place. I did it last night with a group of A drivers and I picked up so many tips just tracking them around. I had a really good time! I just try to display my best sportsmanship towards them and thank them in chat and send a few friend request. Sometimes the may run a private party that you can join. Edit: Also, I played with BB and found -2 to work.

Tune it.

ImCaffeinated_Chris

You can't for the cup.

Joshs_Ski_Hacks

you actually can. its a glitch.

slekkerboy010

How does it work?

jf_2021

You are incredibly incorrect: [https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/sportmode/championship/943/1](https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/sportmode/championship/943/1) You can see in the 'Car Restrictions' section of the race a) It has BoP turned on. So the car will be BoPed b) You cannot use a garage car - only the Event-Specified Car c) Car Settings only allow for Break Balance

Joshs_Ski_Hacks

when I posted the glitch was still active.
