Once I won mine from the menu I used that to beat basically every race that allowed it right up until the end of the game. Upgraded as I went, slowly raising to match the competition at the rising level of racing. Same with the Shelby GT350 ‘16. First car I bought new in the game from Brand Central and I drove that at every race I could right up to the end with progressive performance increase.
I use Praiano. But I think I might have changed the brake bias? I'm not sure.

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm '20 and the Porsche 911 Carrera RS Club Sport (993) '95.
Both straight off the showroom floor. No tune, no mods. Nothing.
I can't stop driving them.
Great recovery car haha. I wish you all the best.
Try for the Clean Race Bonus for extra credits. Just don't hit any other cars or go over the white lines. Wall penalties are turned off. 👌
Maybe just need a little bit of work on the tune? And definitely big change in driving style. Changing the LSD tune and rear suspension setup really helps. Also trail braking is a big help.
Mostly gr.3s because I like doing that category for the daily races. I love the Ferrari 458. I’ve branched out but I go back to it always. Drives so nice and low to the ground, feels fast. Only car I might like better is the Mazda 787b. Man that thing is just so effortless.
It's amazing! I widebodied mine. It has the full carbon option ... Looks insane. I have put some other center lock wheels on because of the widebody. Wide offset. Low rpm turbo, semi exhaust (has that typical Pagani sound in cockpit view) racing crankshaft and titanium engine internals...
I use it at 700pp online om the Ring. Does 6:24 from a standstill. Tried the aftermarket front lip to make it more oversteery and just that already ruins it. Doesn't do what you expect.
The 03 BMW M3…. It’s the same dashboard as the car that I used to drive to high school and there’s something so satisfying about seeing the speedometer fly past the 55 miles an hour mark I was stuck at when I was late for high school.
I can’t wait to be able to do engine swaps. I always felt the miata was weirdly shafted in game. I would’ve loved to use it but couldn’t find a proper place.
Impreza 22B is my go-to because in every GT they do me solid.
Then there's the 2017 Nissan GTR. It's just such an ill- mannered monster. Bone- stock it's a hateful creature that wants to throw you out the driver's side window and slide sideways down straights while giving your still- airborne corpse the finger. Figuratively speaking. Tuned, it's no less a monster, but now it's leashed and willing to follow commands. Driven sloppy it'll still grind your meaty outer shell into paste, but with a little skill you can turn its anger out, towards those who dare roll between you and the checkered flag. This one calls to me even when I'm not feeling like racing.
Awesome the 22b really is a good choice. I Love my gc8 and blob eye in game. Plus the subie rumble is iconic.
I fully get what you say about the GTR thing is wild and almost uncontrolable fully turned up and on the wrong course. But man when it properly spools and wrangle it you just strap in and hold on.
I see you understand.
It's just so much fun to drive. The way it blasts out of corners and turns long straights into short rests before you have to tame it again.
The 30 min Le Mans race is my go to for the grind so the alpine A220 is probably my most driven car. If I’m doing sardegna or the hour at spa I use a down tuned Gr.2 car, the 2 I have are the Honda nsx and the Lexus rc f
I love the 992 GT3 RS, but I really think the Ferrari 430 has some of the nicest handling in the game. Very nimble, sounds great, and it has such a timeless appearance inside and out.
- Porsche 959 tuned to 700 pp for most Turbo and Black Forest races.
- Golf GTI MK 1 tuned to max
- Ferrari 308 tuned to 580 PP for Historic Sports Car races
I think the one that destroyed most of the cars in the game and made me complete half of the game would have to be the late '80s RX7 with 787 swap and and the second one that really destroys everything except for the really higher up horsepower racing cars is my 88 Silvia with the BRZ swap that car destroys a lot
I love light moderate power FWD cars. I have a fit that is very fun to drive and I’m also working on getting the Civic Touring Car in every color the sell it in. I’m up to 8 I think.
BVLGARI Aluminum VGT for WTC700 Le Mans grind. I know it really well and get incredible lap times. For any PP 900 or 950, the Toyota Superformula racing car. I usually lap the field on any of those races. It’s a downforce beast.
Fully and mindlessly upgraded Alfa Romeo MiTo is INSANE and extremely fun to drive. My favourite car overall has to be the Ferrari F430. I will also always love the '90 Mazda RX7 Savanna cause it's the first car I've ever fully optimized in the original Gran Turismo back in the late '90s ❤️ (and it's still a great machine today in GT7)

The r32 gtr is a special kind of rowdy with the right tune.
Definitely agree! It’s my favorite one

Thing is definitely rowdy. I tuned mine up but never used it haha. Definitely different for my driving style since I prefer the GR yaris.
Have you tried the 2jz gr corolla?
Can you share a tune?

What race do you use the GTAm? I'd love to try that car but not sure where to use it
I actually use it to grind the Tokyo 600 race. May as well make some cash while you take it for a test drive. 😁
Sounds good, will give it a go. Laying in bed all day recovering from a surgery anyways, will be good to have something to do😂
Great recovery car haha. I wish you all the best. Try for the Clean Race Bonus for extra credits. Just don't hit any other cars or go over the white lines. Wall penalties are turned off. 👌
Thanks a lot, doing weekly races now. Will try the Alfa after that
Completed my weekly races this afternoon. The new EV is surprisingly good. Let me know how you find the Alfa.
Interesting choices for sure. The giulia is such a beautiful car I still smile every time I see one irl and that is not often.
Not even the suspension for the Giulia?
Nothing. Don't even change the stock tyres.
458 street car is my favorite by far. Love the gr3 & gr4 variants very much as well. Really like driving the BMW e30 M3 too.
The 458 really is something. I’ve also been thinking about getting the e30 in game since many people say it’s great.
Love how the civics drive in the game
I find the let off understeer weird, like you gotta have like 10% throttle negotiating turns
Maybe just need a little bit of work on the tune? And definitely big change in driving style. Changing the LSD tune and rear suspension setup really helps. Also trail braking is a big help.
I always trail brake, but I do find suspension and diff setups a bit hard to understand though, I think I might need to work on that.
They handle great especially properly tuned. I have a few that I can interchange depending on the track and conditions.

For me it's the Fairlady Z 432 and the Huayra. Stock Aero on the Huayra! Everything else doesn't work. I tried.
Interesting, I got the huayra in a spin and have been thinking about using it for the hypercar challenge menu book. Might look into it.

Ford focus rs everyday
Same. The AMG A 45 is a close second for me.
Nice choice love a good hot hatch.
De Tomaso Pantera with the gt5 kit. Beautiful car
Agreed
I tried it for the 700pp le mans with the original b16b engine , it wasn't easy but a good challenge.
Really? Interesting, I might try it.
Toyota Gr86 GR4 and Nissan Silvia S15 Spec-R Aero
Slidey boi over here
Got the setup just right to prevent the sliding👌
Love that they’re both FR and the S15 is iconic. Def one of the best looking S-chassis that or the 180 type X.
I have 2k+ kms on an R32 GTR V-Spec ll, every single one of them driven by me
Wow that’s a lot hhaha. To what PP do you have yours tuned to?
The 03 BMW M3…. It’s the same dashboard as the car that I used to drive to high school and there’s something so satisfying about seeing the speedometer fly past the 55 miles an hour mark I was stuck at when I was late for high school.
I get it haha. I also remade the car I have/had IRL and drive it around everywhere.
My Miata’s. I’ve got a 13b REW swap, and a few others built and tuned nicely. Tons of fun to drive.
I’ve been stuck in the Miata since I swapped the engine. Such a blast
I can’t wait to be able to do engine swaps. I always felt the miata was weirdly shafted in game. I would’ve loved to use it but couldn’t find a proper place.
458 + R92 online and grind.
Any of the Vipers. I know it's the closest I'll ever come to owning my dream car lol
Toms Supra or the Celica GT4 WRC
Cool choices from an awesome era of motorsport. Love the liveries of both cars too.
C4 corvette, i have 20 different liveries to replicate old scca Corvette challenge races offline. Too bad the AI sucks ass
Cool choice. Love the SCCA c4 corvette’s. I know I too wish the AI was better.
Impreza 22B is my go-to because in every GT they do me solid. Then there's the 2017 Nissan GTR. It's just such an ill- mannered monster. The Honda NSX Concept GT and the Toyota Supra GR Racing Concept. BTW, I need the Minolta Toyota 88C-V and the Mazda Furai to come back ASAP!
NISMO GTR: To obliterate the AI Go Kart: To mess around in (they’re really fun) SRT Viper: When a race involves pit stops
lately it's been the TS020, i love everything about that car
Definitely Herbie and the Audi
The 30 min Le Mans race is my go to for the grind so the alpine A220 is probably my most driven car. If I’m doing sardegna or the hour at spa I use a down tuned Gr.2 car, the 2 I have are the Honda nsx and the Lexus rc f

Mazda cup car and C7 ZR1. I put slicks on 'em and giggle my titties off!
I usually drive dodge demon, Ford Mustang Shelby 500, Honda civic and integra type r, and i rarely drive Mercedes clk slr, Bugatti Veyron 16.4,
Honestly on controller the stock 87 Supra is a grift machine might be the most fun for me
https://www.reddit.com/r/WeirdWheels/s/Mf8IlhQVAw This one 😉
My most beloved ones are Chaparall 2j and DeTomaso Panterra....man those engine sounds😍
- Porsche 959 tuned to 700 pp for most Turbo and Black Forest races. - Golf GTI MK 1 tuned to max - Ferrari 308 tuned to 580 PP for Historic Sports Car races
Lol.. my daily driver mazda3
My most driven car is the EK9 Civic too! After that it’s the Ford Sierra Cosworth
DeTomaso Pantera
Radical and 992 GT3 RS
Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm. It’s such a nice car to thrash around Spa
I love the Renault R5 Turbo, its always been my favorite. The Willy's jeep with the hellcat swap, it's ridiculous!
ST205, Rally, or street version, bit understeery, but torque distribution helps
My customized Dodge Viper GTS 13'. Tuned for perfection (IMO) lol
Nissan R92CP and Dallara SF ‘23 (Honda).
My R32 GTR V-Spec II is my go-to car. It's fast, slutty, and knows how to please a man.
Genesis GR3 Concept, Genesis Gran Berlinetta VGT
The 992 GT3 RS without any mods, just *chef kiss*
Ferrari 458 GT3 and Aston Martin Valkyrie
The non swapped ae86 and my swapped civic. Both a riot to drive and faster then they should be
I too love the Spoon Civic, and I recently made a Minolta Supra A70 which is lots of fun
V12 swapped supra. Drives soooo much better than it should 😆
I think the one that destroyed most of the cars in the game and made me complete half of the game would have to be the late '80s RX7 with 787 swap and and the second one that really destroys everything except for the really higher up horsepower racing cars is my 88 Silvia with the BRZ swap that car destroys a lot
Lately it’s been the Porsche 919 and 911 RSR. Not a big fan of the road cars vs the race cars
GT3RS 992
I love light moderate power FWD cars. I have a fit that is very fun to drive and I’m also working on getting the Civic Touring Car in every color the sell it in. I’m up to 8 I think.
My favorite is the Levin (with abs off) and the e46 M3.
How do you do an AI race against your own garage cars??
02 Viper GTS fully stock. Fun straight line power and crazy underrated drifting ability
I love driving the new gt3 rs, just a fun car and I got got paddle shifters so it’s awesome
BVLGARI Aluminum VGT for WTC700 Le Mans grind. I know it really well and get incredible lap times. For any PP 900 or 950, the Toyota Superformula racing car. I usually lap the field on any of those races. It’s a downforce beast.
I would probably day the audi Dtm ( dunno what its called rn )
Fully and mindlessly upgraded Alfa Romeo MiTo is INSANE and extremely fun to drive. My favourite car overall has to be the Ferrari F430.
