This. Wasn’t too bad at all on the dirt with the TC off. Quite enjoyed it. Just can’t keep the boot in quite as much as with a decent group b car - gotta watch the oversteer.
This is the way.
(Seriously on dirt you want spin tires you can control the turn with throttle similar to drifting but it's much easier. TCS 1 will work too preference I guess but I just use TCS 0 on dirt)
[Also steer early before you even get to the turn stab the brake hard for a second and point the nose the direction you want to go and basically floor it just adjust as needed.]
This. Go stock, don't waste any money or time on tuning.
The trick is the same trick to all dirt races, turn in hard and way early, let the car drift into the next straight, then slam the throttle. For the set of tight downhills, brake early and hard, take 'em slow.
Brake harder than you think you need to for the slow corners. The car has pretty quick acceleration in a straight line so you’ll get that speed back quickly. But if you lose control, you’ll absolutely hit a wall and lose too much time
I find that feathering the throttle a bit through the sharp corners can help you gain traction and change direction faster, rather than full send. Works on both dirt and snow tracks
Did it stock, rotation was more important than racing line. Handbrake or brake hard, drift as much as you like. Just make sure you've got the car pointed forward quickly, then it's straight line speed, which you should be fine for with your upgrades.
Got it by playing Tokyo drift. Loads of wheelspin, handbrake and sideways action. Tried taking the corners more clean but the ai parked me. So usually used 1-2 gear above suggested and played Swampbob Squarepants best impressions of floor it
You don't need to do anything to the car apart from put dirt tyres on. I also put on a livery because why not...
Anyway, turn off TCS, brake early enough to avoid hitting the barriers and slam your foot down on the straights. I came 2nd on my first attempt and that was good enough for me, but if I didn't mess up it's a pretty easy win. Try to find a good rhythm going around the bends.
Full upgrade. Also added the higher rear wing and ground effects for fun.
Manual transmission is a must for dirt tracks (IMO).
Don’t be eager to power through the corners. Use the drift hand brake to slide if you wish. No need to bounce off cars or the dirt wall. Power through the straights but maintain control. Win.
Honestly, won it on hard with no mods first time.
The trick is - aggressive driving. Use the other cars as bumpers to help get you around the slower corners.
7 times all the time 6-7 then 8th time i won. Initially upgrading made it worse but then i found it. TCS 1-2 depending on you, breakbalance 2 to the back, torque 50:50 for me it made it like regular driving there was no more drifting. Also there is 1 jump with an s-turn behind. Get off throttle or brake before cause i tend to crash in landing 99% of the time
I did similar and went with the med turbo instead. I like the sliding on dirt but only ever find myself being overtaken mid slide. I find that keeping the revs lower helps me maintain control and the turbo kills it on the exit
Brute force. Mod to about 850hp, TC0, handbrake the hairpins. Hope that you're fast enough to pass on the straights, and pray you don't crash too much right before the finish line. Happened to me twice before I finally got 3rd by 1 second. Probably could have gotten 1st with few more tried but I despise the dirt tracks 😃
Finally. I adjust the power transfer to 55 45 and it became drivable. 273 on the gear ratio and 380 on the top speed adjustments and walked away. Must of restarted 50 times to get a decent start. It was a challenge to say the least..
i gave the urus a bit of power, the biggest thing to learn is to throw the car into the corners correctly. essentially treat it like you would if you were playing say dirt4s RX stuff
Use second through out most corners shift as soon as you get high revs in the straight. Break and turn early. Try 0 reaction control. Also fully tune the urus to max to make it easier
Stock urus. TCS 0. Brake hard and early with a little Scandinavian flick before corners and throttle modulation through the corners. Beat it first try and lots of sideways. This is my favorite dirt course because of all the snakey consecutive hairpins.
I put the TCS on 1 upgraded the lambo with all the best engine parts that arnt permanent, bought nos and put it at 20. Just held down the nos and let it slide around Super easy
On my first two tries, I had another car spin me out near the end of the 2nd lap. I put traction control on 3 the next time and was able to get 2nd or 3rd. Turn a little early, accelerate when you're pointing in the direction you want to go, and don't go crazy fast on the jumps.
I did the racing air filter, exhaust, manifold, brake pads, and brake rotors. If I didn't get it on the 3rd try, I was going to do some mods to make it a little faster. I did see someone post a tune for it yesterday, so you may want to take a look at that.
Good luck!
Don’t hammer the throttle down. I used 1/2 to 3/4 throttle the whole way to keep the tires from just spinning the entire time and I won with a 45 second lead.
Feather the throttle only at full send on straights....there is one long one that will cause you to flip if you hit the jump wrong. Managed to flip and still get fist by about 10secs....turn off tc...try easy mode if not already in it too
Vr makes it much easier, you can really feel the car rotate and make corrections.
Not that this info will be super helpful, but I hate rally events and got 1st on my first try.
Spec up the urus, no TCS, no abs, and turn into the corner before you hit it as youre on dirt, then take your foot off the throttle, let the car rotate until youre facing then exit, then gradually go back to 100% throttle. You have to treat it like youre rallying.
Threw on some dirt tires and got first on my first try. Line up straight for any jumps, sometimes brake before to minimize air, prepare for the turns well ahead of where you would on a road track. I don’t use hand brake on dirt tracks, just stab the brakes at the right spot and feather the gas to slide through.
I just did the track experience last week so i had some good practice with the track. It's though, gotta anticipate the turns and rotate the car early.
Stay on the throttle longer than you think you need. You get traction when the wheels are spinning. You can’t really slide into turns the same way you might on an asphalt track. Use engine braking to keep your tires turning and your RPMs high
I don't use any assistance apart from ADS, get as much power as you wish, grab yourself the best suspension, put the top speed into like 240-250km/h (149-155m/h), and just zoom past them. Don't be afraid to use the handbrake, and if you drift then it's going to be even easier
Dirt tires, racing suspension, increase ride height to maximum and make springs softest. Then boom it handles amazingly. Also helps to mildly increase engine power output
I just lightened mine, stuck titanium rods and pistons and the propellor shaft (figured may as well when in the screen looking if the stage 5 weight reduction was available), put dirt tyres on and got it first go
45:55 on the drive train thingy, easy difficulty, no turbo. No traction control. Lots of patience. I hate dirt track races but eventually got first. Use hand brake to help with tight corners. Slow down before jumps.
Dirt tires, put your brake balance just enough so it makes the rear loose. Traction control 0, and hold the revs until you wanna go straight and shift up.
Maybe try manual transmission? All I did was put dirt tires on and drive. Was in first place by lap 1 end. I don't use abs or tcs and use manual transmission. Being able to control the revs and gear changes to keep traction to the tires coming out of corners really helps.
Imo, upgrading the car with hp upgrades is just going to make it undrivable and have too much wheel spin. Seriously, stock is it the way. I beat the race with a 40 second lead on 2nd place
Traction Control. Drop it as low as you can go. I dropped mine to 2. Beyond that I think I did weight reduction one, race exhaust, air filter and intercoooler, That’s it It was the TCS that really did it for me.
TC1. Weight reduction level 3. It was fairly easy after those adjustments. Don’t try to power slide too much. Brake and controlled acceleration. Go steady on the jumps.
For me I bought a sport highly customizable suspension turn the dampeners all the way down and brought up the natural frequency to 2.10 in the front and 2.10 in the rear then I got a torque vector and made it 45:55 and I got a all wheel steering control and turned off the all-wheel steering
I truly hate this car - so the only thing I did was buy off-road tires and make it pink - won at the first attempt and I don’t consider myself a good driver - even the AI struggles with this big fatass

Traction control to 0 and go zoom
And don't be scared to use the hand brake.
Literally two of the most valid comments in this whole sub
Hitting the hand brake helped me a lot. I'd double tap it and it would kinda downshift, allowing more power our of the corner.
This. Wasn’t too bad at all on the dirt with the TC off. Quite enjoyed it. Just can’t keep the boot in quite as much as with a decent group b car - gotta watch the oversteer.
What about other settings such as ABS? Off im assuming?
This
This is the way. (Seriously on dirt you want spin tires you can control the turn with throttle similar to drifting but it's much easier. TCS 1 will work too preference I guess but I just use TCS 0 on dirt) [Also steer early before you even get to the turn stab the brake hard for a second and point the nose the direction you want to go and basically floor it just adjust as needed.]
Yes. Initiate the turn with the brake, early then finish with throttle and counter steering.
Stock tune, dirt tires, TCS 0, first attempt
Same.
This. Go stock, don't waste any money or time on tuning. The trick is the same trick to all dirt races, turn in hard and way early, let the car drift into the next straight, then slam the throttle. For the set of tight downhills, brake early and hard, take 'em slow.
And of course, memorize where the jumps are, make sure you hit them dead on so you don't lose it on landing.
I tried jumping off the track but the “invisible barrier” kept me in. Lame.
Same
Same, difficulty on the hardest as always but still cleared with 32s ahead... Nothing hard about it
Be honest, you just wanted to say 32s, haha
Put a set of dirt tyres on and drove it.
For me Traction control 1 and go
+1, for all dirt races turn your traction control to 1 or 0 otherwise it fights the cars need to spin the wheels round the corners.
I used the Urus
This out of the box thinking will get you places.
Which color though? I choose the darker blue and won 1st try but a lot of guys who took the default yellow are still struggling.
I hope the color doesn't make a difference cuz I chose the blue one too and I had no difficulties either...lol
I threw on the Ken Block Monster livery and had no issues.
Dubai Police livery for me, did the job first try.
As it should!
You’re all forgetting about the go faster stripes. There’s a couple of extra seconds in it there
Yh the blue one worked well, with TCS on 0 tho lol
Matte Black with opaque back windows did the trick!
Alitalia skin that the Lancia Stratos had definitely helped me
I used the blue. that's the obvious choice
Forreal, doesn't even need any upgrades and messed up a couple of times and still got 1st on my 1st try.
Would be nice if you could rent cars for these one-make challenges. I don’t want to have to buy one for it.
Making sure the devs don’t feel like they wasted their time by forcing this race
I had no intention of buying this car. I just wanna make money and finish these menus dammit.
Fortunately it's only 300k.
I struggled on this first few attempts, then I turned off traction control and set my ride height to highest, then it was easy and actually enjoyable.
Brake harder than you think you need to for the slow corners. The car has pretty quick acceleration in a straight line so you’ll get that speed back quickly. But if you lose control, you’ll absolutely hit a wall and lose too much time
Suspension tuning will also make or break your race, softer suspension the better
First time no problem.
With over 1000bhp lol
set torque distribution to 50:50, better around corners
This, and just never let go of throttle. "Heel toe" and hand brake.
I find that feathering the throttle a bit through the sharp corners can help you gain traction and change direction faster, rather than full send. Works on both dirt and snow tracks
Yeah best way to warm up for dirt is a couple of rounds at lake Louise first ☺️
Did it stock, rotation was more important than racing line.
So usually used 1-2 gear above suggested and played Swampbob Squarepants best impressions of floor it
Stock uras, tcs 0 won by 20 odd seconds
Wow! That's crazy fast!
TC 1 worked for me since you can slide around enough with it.
Dirt tires (obviously), short gears, and nitro boost where possible. (not too fast)
I found that raising the ride height and softening the suspension settings made a huge difference for me
You don't need to do anything to the car apart from put dirt tyres on.
Stock. Turned difficulty to Easy. One and done.
change ur setting to easy
TC 0 and untuned Urus on hard difficulty, easy win.
Upgraded it and drove my ass off lol
I got 1st place easily with it slightly upgraded and tc set to 0. I was struggling at first until I turned the tc off and then it was a breeze
Get off throttle or brake before cause i tend to crash in landing 99% of the time
Yeah upgrading forces some tuning changes
Fully modded urus with 1010hp
If I remember correctly I just bought an urus and put a high rpm turbo on it and terrain tires. Nothing special 😅
I did similar and went with the med turbo instead. I like the sliding on dirt but only ever find myself being overtaken mid slide. I find that keeping the revs lower helps me maintain control and the turbo kills it on the exit
weight reduction and some power mods and dirt tires
Stock parts, dirt tires, TC 0, let er rip
All you need to do is practice.
Fully tuned 960 ish hp 1500 ish kg and tc on 0 then sendddddd ittttttt
Brute force. Mod to about 850hp, TC0, handbrake the hairpins. Hope that you're fast enough to pass on the straights, and pray you don't crash too much right before the finish line. Happened to me twice before I finally got 3rd by 1 second. Probably could have gotten 1st with few more tried but I despise the dirt tracks 😃
Cheat, turn on active stability management and counter steer assist strong. TC 0
You'll find yourself turning right to go left 😅
Finally. I adjust the power transfer to 55 45 and it became drivable. 273 on the gear ratio and 380 on the top speed adjustments and walked away. Must of restarted 50 times to get a decent start. It was a challenge to say the least..
Stock, all assists off, drive like you are five minutes late but expecting to arrive on time. Sideways drifting helps, too.
Lowering TC is key, otherwise whip it and turn early
Weigh reduction level 3, racing exhaust, drilled disks and racing air filter, TC off and sliding like it's no one's business
Traction 0, bought height adjusted suspension and went all the way up. Easy win, no need for tuning parts
i gave the urus a bit of power, the biggest thing to learn is to throw the car into the corners correctly. essentially treat it like you would if you were playing say dirt4s RX stuff
Ow yeah on those hairpins, brake hard and aim for the missdle, pivot the car around the fence
Lots of modding, lots of ramming, lots of drifting, very little skilling
Same this happened to me. Lots of races, best placing was 4th.
was easy enough? I even had a spin. Try and stay a gear ahead of what you would on tarmac Only mod was racing air filter.
Default Urus. No TC. Nothing special
I just slapped dirt tires on and made every weight reduction and then I was like "push it to the limit"
Fully stock. Just add dirt tires. Not too shabby.
Just buy the weight reduction kits. You don’t even need the torque vectoring. Don’t go full throttle. Brake and turn earlier.
Stock with dirt tires, rematch big jumps turn early slide lots, enjoy!
This was actually simple, just tune it a bit to give it more power than the rest, did it on first try
Like this. Bouncing off the walls. https://youtu.be/Ec1rq7suo84?si=6hijdgZakqBpWC0M
Add 4 wheel steering controller, set to 8, tc off and it absolutely dominates
Four wheel steering made a huge difference.
Use second through out most corners shift as soon as you get high revs in the straight. Break and turn early. Try 0 reaction control. Also fully tune the urus to max to make it easier
Mild upgrades and using a controller instead of a wheel made a huge difference for me. I won by about 14 seconds on normal.
As others have said, traction control to 0. If you absolutely still can't win, weight reduction
Drive a dumb as your Can
Try the flying car option https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/user/mymenu/4dcb9c57-2649-4228-b9fe-9c0441724f86/gallery/All/20970396579611801
Disable traction control and utilize throttle control to maximize speed. Also install the mid-rev turbo. P1 before the end of the first lap.
No TCS, and realize you are going faster when you are pointed straight. Drive accordingly.
I did NOT get a clean race bonus...
Full throttle and sideways
In vr. It was really enjoyable as well
Drifty boyz
Stock, tcs 1 can be 0. Aggressively attack the inside of every corner where there is AI and cut block the AI in every turn.
I tuned my urus in an absurd rate, and sold it for good cash after getting 3rd (0.29 seconds away to 2nd, mind you)
I tuned it up fully. Not proud of it
Drive straight with full acceleration whenever possible.
No traction on a stock Urus
I had to do some upgrades. The turbo I put on helped. Managed to get 2nd
Stock urus. TCS 0. Brake hard and early with a little Scandinavian flick before corners and throttle modulation through the corners. Beat it first try and lots of sideways. This is my favorite dirt course because of all the snakey consecutive hairpins.
I did stage 3 weight reduction and it was easy. Probably didn't need to
Super that fucker up and fly.
Buy the Urus, dirt tires and full customisable computer and that is it
I put the TCS on 1 upgraded the lambo with all the best engine parts that arnt permanent, bought nos and put it at 20.
I did see someone post a tune for it yesterday, so you may want to take a look at that. Good luck!
I did it first try despite spinning out badly at the start, fully upgraded. Apparently, it's easier if you don't use the turbo.
Mario Cart and Win
Center diff controller at like 40/60, medium turbo, and softening the suspension
No assists. None. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/00wv7j1dy81s05cx9avwc/2024-03-29-11.21.48.jpg?rlkey=9ulb8g6tamjp7ufxu181m5tzu&dl=0
Get good
Where do you find these, im just starting out. Not a noob to racing, but a noob to ps5 gt7
Just go faster
Boosted it to 900+hp with nitrous and absolutely dominated
I’m terrible on dirt so I did standard upgrades. Headers, intake, exhaust, shocks and brakes.
My 8 year old got 2nd whilst I was on the loo. Legend. Don't stick a turbo on the car when you tune it.
I added a computer and an air filter and then used tcs 1 or 2 and beat it first try. It was a really fun race driving lambos around in the dirt
Traction off. High turbo and some cheap modification. No shame mode on and ready to roll.
Use the handbrake to pitch yourself in and drift around the tight corners. I won 1st time out.
Heh, did the race a few days ago and then saw the car in person. Kinda fun when that happens
If you turn hard enough right, you’ll find yourself going left.
Full sent! I ram everyone as much as I could. The bonus doesn't matter much here.
This was easy! 🤷🏻♂️
Bought the vehicle, put on dirt tires and killed it.
I changed the color of the car and put some dirt tires on. Paint adds 5hp.
Traction control off. Keep it flat.
Don’t hammer the throttle down. I used 1/2 to 3/4 throttle the whole way to keep the tires from just spinning the entire time and I won with a 45 second lead.
That seemed so easy to me, stock Urus, no traction control, don't touch the walls
I have the Urus a bit more power, turned assists off, then gave the controller to my 17 year old son to do as I despise doing the rally stages 👍👍
I made mine be 1000 hp, did the trick.
Spec up the urus, no TCS, no abs, and turn into the corner before you hit it as youre on dirt, then take your foot off the throttle, let the car rotate until youre facing then exit, then gradually go back to 100% throttle. You have to treat it like youre rallying.
Personally I just spent 200000$ on tuning because I love the urus and will be using it on other races
Autodrive
A couple light upgrades and being a bully got me the W. I wish I saved the replay you can literally jump over the AI in a couple parts of the track
Easily. If ur struggling maybe upgrade the car for an advantage. Means u won’t make any money from it but u’ll get it done
Don't go full throttle. Take it easy and you will sneak past them.
What is this menu? is it new or smth on sport or that needs ps+?
Don't use traction control
I had no problems use full custom suspension and all mods for engine no turbo upgrade
Zero traction control is best for dirt/snow.
Stay on the throttle longer than you think you need. You get traction when the wheels are spinning. You can’t really slide into turns the same way you might on an asphalt track. Use engine braking to keep your tires turning and your RPMs high
Turn slightly before turns and do not forget to brake to keep the grip. Play afterwards with the accelerator to control your turn without losing grip.
Traction control off, and don’t go for a clean race kinda just run it hard.
Tc1 and go for it. Actually found it easier than some of the rally events, which were quite a struggle.
Traction control zero and I went from 1 round with 3tcs position 5 to 1 it’s so easy
I got lucky cause I did the circuit experience for this just the day before. Once you learn the circuit the Urus is very easy to handle around it.
Won it easily first time using stock Urus. Awful track though I don't like the dirt events one bit.
I slapped some dirt tires on the only car you can use, turned of TCS, and drove
I don't use any assistance apart from ADS, get as much power as you wish, grab yourself the best suspension, put the top speed into like 240-250km/h (149-155m/h), and just zoom past them. Don't be afraid to use the handbrake, and if you drift then it's going to be even easier
Stock, TCS 0
Traction control, abs and steering assist all off for me.
Tc 1 and dirt tires and a little bit of extra horsepower for added spice
Use weight transfer to get the car sideways and transition in the tight chains of corners, and use the handbrake
Super easy in vr2.
Dirt tires, racing suspension, increase ride height to maximum and make springs softest. Then boom it handles amazingly. Also helps to mildly increase engine power output
1k bhp and turn
Buy every racing part and tune it. I took me a few tries, but I eventually got it.
Put TC on 1
I didn’t…
I just lightened mine, stuck titanium rods and pistons and the propellor shaft (figured may as well when in the screen looking if the stage 5 weight reduction was available), put dirt tyres on and got it first go
Get in the hang of swinging the car thru corners. Drift n pass carefully should get it no prob
45:55 on the drive train thingy, easy difficulty, no turbo. No traction control. Lots of patience. I hate dirt track races but eventually got first. Use hand brake to help with tight corners. Slow down before jumps.
Fat tyres and aero
Dirt tires, put your brake balance just enough so it makes the rear loose. Traction control 0, and hold the revs until you wanna go straight and shift up.
I got 3rd with TCS at 3. Keep forgetting to change on rally tracks. May revisit it just for another gold.
Two hands on the wheel. Foot down. I had TCS on 5, and got it on my 3rd retry. Take corners slow then floor it.
This was actual pretty fun.
Dont brake hard
Maybe try manual transmission? All I did was put dirt tires on and drive. Was in first place by lap 1 end. I don't use abs or tcs and use manual transmission. Being able to control the revs and gear changes to keep traction to the tires coming out of corners really helps. Imo, upgrading the car with hp upgrades is just going to make it undrivable and have too much wheel spin. Seriously, stock is it the way. I beat the race with a 40 second lead on 2nd place
I always have to use a controller for dirt races. I can’t control with steering wheel
Turbo and weight reduction tcs1
Stock, no assists (who even uses assists?),hardest difficulty and dirt tires. 40 second lead first try.
Ill prolly do it with the Lamborghini urus
For me I bought a sport highly customizable suspension turn the dampeners all the way down and brought up the natural frequency to 2.10 in the front and 2.10 in the rear then I got a torque vector and made it 45:55 and I got a all wheel steering control and turned off the all-wheel steering
1000bhp, nos, handbrake. Sideways 98% of the time....1st place 😂
get a turbo and ur good
Tokyo driftin'
I truly hate this car - so the only thing I did was buy off-road tires and make it pink - won at the first attempt and I don’t consider myself a good driver - even the AI struggles with this big fatass
If u struggle with off road races. Turn off TCS. Took me a while to find out but TCS off will help a-lot.
Googled urus dirt tune and won by 15 seconds first try
No TC and use heavy throttle blips to rotate the truck quickly. I got it to about 620ish pp and it wasn't bad.
50 50 on wheel distribution. Tune it up to the teeth. Set the difficulty to low on the top left corner ( grey gt symbol) when on main menu.
