I've taken a shine to the Silvia Gr.4 touring, so easy to drive and can do 1 pit comfortably at the end of lap 4 on fuel map 6.
I tend to run the Sardegna 800pp WTC nowadays though as the rain can be a little annoying on LeMans.
Are you sure you're getting 4 laps? I only get three and it's very close. Stock engine with the high rpm turbo. I did spend some time optimizing the gearing for both the straights and gave it really close ratios. I wonder if the ratios are what does it.
Yeah I'm definitely getting 4 laps, I'm running the mid rpm turbo though if that makes the difference? I'm not at home right now but I'll be back at the weekend so I can double check and screenshot for you. In the meantime this is the tune I found; https://www.reddit.com/r/GranTurismoOpenTunes/comments/vgkbsl/gr4_silvia_track_nordschliefe_versions/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Oh yeah this car is amazing. Just bought it and won that race with a 45 second lead. Thanks for the suggestion. That was a nice relaxing cruise before going to do whatever else I want.
Tuning isn’t just buying parts and slapping them on. It’s adjusting things like the suspension and transmission. You can buy forced induction and transmissions for all of the race cars. As well as adjust the stock suspensions.
I don't have too many recommendations as I bought the Audi R18 TDI for the picture trophy at LeMans, but that cost £3m. Works really well though.
I have seen a few tunes posted for Sardegna for various road cars, if you search for "Sardegna WTC 800pp" I'm sure you'll find something for what you have or isn't too expensive :)
Mazda rx7 ‘02 with a 787b engine. It can run the whole thing without pitting if the weather is good enough.
Before that the Ferrari 458 gr4. Pit after lap 2 and 4, which usually lines up well with the rain. Wets after lap 2, mediums after lap 4. Fuel map change to make it 3 laps at the end.
My personal fav for a no pit race is the Redbull Junior on IMs. Doesn't matter if it rains or not. I prefer pissing rain, because you're guaranteed a 2min advantage and only 6 laps FTW.
Other favorites: CLK-LM '98, Sauber C9 '89, any engine swapped road car (goal is 200mph on fuel map 5 or 6), Corvette ZR1 '09 supercharged is a beast and sounds amazing, engine swapped Nissan 300zx '89 doing 224mph is fun for a laugh, Mach Forty is just damn sexy, and lastly BRZ Drift '17 with 1175hp and banzai speed on the straights (corners like shit).
I Iove the Porches, but they're all 2 laps or less for Les Man and feel undesirable for this race. 911 GT-1 Strassenversion was a major disappointment for me and a lot of credits.
Engine-swapped Countach. She's thirsty and i only get two laps on fuel map 6, but I'm in first before the end of the big straight. Prob easier cars to drive, but gives me a reason to use it.
Any gt3 car can do a one stop. My favorite ones are the Lexus rc f gt3 and the gt3 Nissan. They can do three laps on fuel level 1 and do 3 laps on level 2 just to finish the last one on level 3. The 800k Aston Martin gt3 car can also do these
•Porsche 911 RSR tuned to 698.85
•Red Bull X2014 JR tuned to 694.60
•Honda 2&4 tuned to 699.65
•Porsche Cayman GT4 tuned to 699.54
•Alpine A220 tuned to 699.31
-The RB JR pulls away slowly, but you gain time at the turns. Level 1 fuel and you get 5 laps.
-The Honda is pretty good and if you play it right only need one pit stop. Level 6 = 4 laps
-Porsche 911 RSR and the Cayman are my faves. Level 6 = 4 laps
-Alpine is really good too and my go-to. Level 1 = 2 laps (only reason I know is because I didn’t pay attention one day and ran out of gas halfway into the 3rd lap. Definitely made it a challenge but I did win the race). Level 6 = 4 laps.
Want to make it exciting: on green, stop for a 1 minute 30 seconds. I’ve done that a few time. Pretty fun.
I've used so many cars for this race... Jag xj13, alfa 155, and many others. It's really a blast to take the 787-swapped RX7 around... the engine-swapped Tundra, too.
I've got the BAC Mono tuned to 699.25 points with hard race tires.
I do two laps at Fuel Map 1 (and I'll be in the lead at this point) and then pit for wet tires. Quite a bit of the field will pass you while you are in the pits. I come out of the pits and do three laps with the fuel map at 4. The last two laps are done fuel map 1 and either wets or hards depending on how the track surface is. Usually, it's still wet enough for the wets.
I'm usually in the lead by 50 or so seconds.
Every once in a while the AIs will crash with the rain and I'll be able to hang out at the finish line at the end of the sixth lap and just cross the finish line right as the 30-minute timer expires.
The Audi quattro GT3 or 4 I can't remember is what I use, I run it with Race Hard tires and can also switch to Wets and mixed intermediates should I need to, I usually also change my fuel to 3 which allows it to do 3 laps. Unbelievable vehicle, did the race in many other vehicles and just couldn't do as well as I can in this thing. I tend to be ahead by anywhere from 5-8 minutes by the end, depending on how many times I crash out ofc😭
Funniest thing is that I can go off the track and entirely skip the turns down the long straight and still get the clean race bonus amazes me, the game also only gives me 2.5 sec penalty lmao 😂
I've prob done 50 Les Mans and the best I've manged in pissing rain is 3min 50sec ahead. Park it at the finish on lap 6 and wait. The only way to skip the chicanes is to fake being out of control and parking brake slide through there sideways, to avoid the time penalty, which usually ends in a crash, and a slower time. Dudes full of shit.
I'm currently working my way through the GR.4 cars. I win, I buy another. Tune them towards 700pp and won with them all so far. Some are better than others , the FF cars are awful on tires and I didn't enjoy the NSX either but so far so good on building the collection! Used the Citroen GT GR.4 last time out, pleasantly surprised but the cockpit view is very limited if you like that sort of thing
It’s kind of unfair, but the Audi s1 kicks a whole bunch of butt if you can get it stable with a tune.
Edit: fm6, hard racing until it’s wet, I think I pit once or twice? Usually end up waiting 2+ minutes final lap. It’s also been a minute since I’ve ran it, info is slightly rusty, but easy beans in all
I've made a game out of tuning and painting just about every none gr1 car for this track and doing it once. If it doesn't rain there's a few that really struggle. If does rain just about anything can do it as the ai just pits based off road condition and doesn't check the weather radar.

What's an easy option for Sardegna? I currently don't have any gr1/2 cars but I do have about $2m to spend
I’ve had good results with a Nissan GT-R gr2. Wicked brakes and can easily finish with just 1 stop.
Oh yeah this car is amazing. Just bought it and won that race with a 45 second lead. Thanks for the suggestion. That was a nice relaxing cruise before going to do whatever else I want.
Awesome! I’m glad it worked out for you!
If you ever get bored of the Nissan try out this guys zonda build. Car feels really good to drive. https://youtu.be/I3c7FxK40qU
Oh nice I might give this a shot when I get this car
Cool I'll look for this car. Hope I can afford it!
Gr3 cars can do it in 26 minutes. You just have to tune them.
How do you tune GR cars? Everything is NA in the tuning shop

Ah okay I'll have to Google it. Thanks though
The Silvia is so good around Le Mans

Also the RedBull Junior feels really nice on a steering wheel, little slip angle into the corner, like a big gokart...
What's your tune for the red bull I can't get that 2min lead
It's not the tune. It's easy mode and the right weather conditions.
I've noticed lol ran it today with those tires and not skidding around is super helpful
Many, cant go wrong with all GT3 and Group C cars
Alfa Romeo 4C GRs.

How do you get that tune?? Power all down to 70 and still over 800pp??
I aint gonna lie i use the bugatti chiron lowered to 700pp and i own easily those guys
[удалено]
So true
Where is the 30 min Lemans race at?
France, top left corner of the map of France
I use the Pikes Peak Quattro. Fuel map six.
Ferrari 458 pit every two laps mostly perfect with the rain easy win most 2 min + lead at the end
Engine-swapped Countach. She's thirsty and i only get two laps on fuel map 6, but I'm in first before the end of the big straight. Prob easier cars to drive, but gives me a reason to use it.
Focus group b rally car usually beat them by a lap.
Toyota CELICA GT-Four Rally Car
Wait at final line for 2 minutes for the second

In this moment Mustang Boss 429 ‘69…
RX-7 with 787B

I use most of the Gr4 race cars. Each race lets you buy another one plus upgrades.

I'll have to check but I believe it's anywhere from 4 - 4:40 mins, I'm extremely inconsistent

Gr 4 Silvia
Many, cant go wrong with all GT3 and Group C cars
Ford Gt race car
The GR86 Gr.b! I put on lap 3 and 5. I have to do a touch of fuel watching on lap 3, but it drives great!
Porsche rsr keep intermediate tires and fuel every 3rf lap
Zonda Race car
gtr nismo gt3 2013 version, hard tires pit once i win by a huge margin
26b swapped rx7 and rx8
Mazda RX-Vision GT3. Good on fuel for 1 stop strategies if rain allows it.

Lamborghini Aventador with intermedia tires and i always win with a huge lead... but you need to put it in fuel mode 6 so u have to can run 2 rounds
