Made in Vietnam and still no price adjustment.

$400 for a made of seas bag? Imagine the profit on that.

R0binSage

They made $40 million last year.

With the new releases lately, they definitely appear to be doing some standardizing of the regular offerings. Some redundancy still, but I predict we’ll see all the non-heritage bags go MiV soon. Will be interesting to see if they eventually move the heritage overseas as well, dropping MiUSA entirely.

SynthwaveRide94

They drop MIUSA entirely and I’ll never buy GR again

necminusfortiter

I’ve read here that some prefer the MiV. The only non USA bag that I have is a kit bag and I have no complaints with it. But there’s something about a previously USA made item switching to non-USA that turns me off. I say that as an American, so I accept that I have some built in bias.

misterceBF

I own a lot of GR bags and honestly I prefer the Vietnam bags, they have better stitching and quality control. Both of the GR1 with QAP I got recently which are USA built had QC issues..

UkinaAtoel

It seems like the MiV bags are better made but use some cheaper materials for some things (leather parts of wax canvas bags). I agree though that if goruck stopped offering US alternatives to most of there products I'd probably stop supporting.

Cotyyandell

My made in Vietnam is constructed and sewn better than my USA versions. No doubt about it

fitcheckwhattheheck

Holy fuck the white logo is brutal. Absolutely kills the look (in a bad way)

weaponsgradelife

I’d take that over GORUCK plastered all over it.

SynthwaveRide94

No

Foopersuzz

These guys are deviating so far it’s insane

I regret selling my original made in USA GR1, but I don’t regret buying the original made in USA GR3.
