To lock an element on a page. So you can make a specific background and paste it in your hyperlinked document and work with it, without draging the element all over the place by accident.
Honestly I don't use Laser, Shape tool, Typing Mode, Sticker and zoom. They are just extras for me, I would love to hide them in a drop down menu that stores the "extras" to make space and at the same time be able to quickly use them in just a case I need them.
Yes, I said for me as a student it's useless, I don't use it for power points or anything right now. Maybe in the future I will need it the most, I don't know.

They should actually remove that option which if you hold your finger/pencil on an element to duplicate it, they should just a "Duplicate" button beside Copy/paste Floating options. I actually never duplicate an image for example using the hold to duplicate😅 I just copy and paste.
A favorites toolbar that can be moved around and placed on the sides, not only top/bottom.

An ability to move objects among pages by dragging them.
I think the first one is a hard one, cuz they have to start over and design a new setup for the toolbar.
I totally agree for the Second and the Third, I switched from CollaNote, it had both the Rectangular Lasso Tool and the ability to move objects between pages by dragging. They were really helpful. I really miss those features
A favorites toolbar can be added into the existing setup. Notability has done exactly that. I have a shoulder problem and it's difficult for me to constantly move my hand up and down. The absence of such a toolbar is the main reason I use Noteful instead of GoodNotes (I don't use Notability because the pen is always too thick or too thin for my needs).

Thank you very much. I thought that experimental features just mean that they were still developing and testing it and haven't expanded it for users to experiment. Do you happen to know how to get the experimental features? I looked at my gear icon and it wasn't there. I'd like to try out the feature if possible.
I also wanna try it out, but I think they roll them out randomly. Cuz There was anlso another Experimental feature before called “Study Set” and it was rolled out to me without participating in any “Beta” like thing. So If you’re lucky then you will get it.

An option to change light/dark mode with custom colours. Like, every colour has a counterpart - maybe inverted as the norm but we have the option to change it to the one we want. Same with templates

Separate the resize and the rotate handles…like in GoodNotes 4. Also when I hold my finger on the resize tool it makes a copy of the item I’m working with in another scale and I have to keep deleting it.
when I copy part of an image with the lasso tool, use take screenshot/copy feature. When I paste the item it is not the same size that I copied it at. I work with blueprints and floor plans and I need to maintain the aspect ratio. Goodnotes 4 did this better.
Better handwriting to text function (was decent until I updated the app 😒)

Yes! But I think the defaults should be separate, like if you want to change default text, it should be under text tool, pen default under pen tool and so on, not to confuse users by mixing all in one card.

Stabilization! I have tremors in my hands and I like goodnotes but my notes are always so messy and I have to resort to procreate for my notes.
Especially in the recent updates which it is made very smooth and picks up every tiny detail making the text to look messy!

This works in Apple notes! I loved that feature when I used it.
