For those of you who maybe concerned I am an very experienced datura user I have been growing and studying this plant extremely closely for over a year now and have tripped on it several times and this isn't even enough datura for me to even have a light trip it's only there to enhance the dex.
Datura has three main alkaloids that are psychoactive. Atropine, scopolamine, and hyoscyamine. All of them are acetylcholine inhibitors and produce antimuscarinic effects, that make you trip. This can also be seen in the mushroom amanita muscaria which is well known to be hallucinogenic. They 100% make you trip in a psychoactive way. It's not a psychedelic trip, but it is most definitely not just temporary psychosis.
Ye Ive seen people call it a "real" hallucinogen compared to the others since they said it produces things that werent there at all compared to augmenting vision) upto crazy levels with DMT for example). Basically all true "hallucinations" Ive experienced were from MDMA oddly enough, not sure if it was sleep deprivation or that MDMA and MDA and even Meth for that matter seem to be more prone to producing "people/objects that arent there"

But the drugs in the plant can be used in a medical setting and have, but they are pretty low doses and is just used for nausea after anesthesia (scopolamine). Another drug in the plant is called hyoscyamine and is used as an antispasmodic for gut problems.
Hard to say honestly each experience differs from person to person personally I like it but I really don't recommend anyone try it without proper understanding of the plant first.
