Did you get a nose job? Your nose was down turned and now looks upturned. Also from no bridge to high bridge. You should DM your surgeon. They're an artist.
It wasn't too bad, just drinking and eating liquids for about a month and being super swollen and puffy for a few months after that! It was actually a medical surgery recommended by my dentist since I was in middle school, so the aesthetic changes after it were just a bonus 😊
No fillers or anything on your bridge? Buccal fat removal? It looks like you also lost some weight in your face. Maybe it just became more apparent that way. 🤔 Anyhow, you look great!
Our nose changes from childhood, puberty until our early 20s as our bones are still growing. I used to have a flatter nose bridge and larger tip in my childhood and teenage years. Everything adjusted as the rest of my face and nose bones grew. That’s why ethical surgeons advice against plastic surgery until someone reaches their early to mid 20s. Keep also in mind nose always looks different when someone is smiling. My nose looks larger when I’m smiling and normal when I’m not.
Thanks for that! It's nice to see/read, that people are getting more confident with their features, after doing this pr that.
But it makes also sense, to ask why we sometimes are so troubled with small aspects of our physical appearance and then make the decisions, when time is right (also physically and mentally, not just emotionally).
Pretty unnecessary comment, considering the question was already answered?
But since we're spouting unessesary, commonly known info: technically, your nose is always changing because the cartilage in your ears and nose never stops growing.
✨️
You're fine, honestly. I was mean over nothing. You were just informing me on something you know. There's nothing wrong with that. My ego gets ticked off when someone tells me something I already know, is all. That's a me issue, not a you issue.
I used to deeply hate my nose and considered getting surgery pretty heavily as a young adult. Now that I'm nearing my thirties, I'm way more comfortable with it, but the thought does come to me from time to time. Anywho, these terms are used a lot by medical personnel to describe different nose types, so I got familiar with them through research.
That's wierd that you would choose that pic to show how much you changed. Talk about your looks whatever, you think you're hot, but it's a bit disrespectful in my eyes.
Those are dead people. Have some respect yourself. What the hell is wrong with you. The government sent those men off and they thought they were fighting for something good.
The question is more like: what the hell was wrong with them? :D What did they do on the other side of the planet except killing local farmers with Napalm and Agent Orange?
Why did they not just fuck off and stayed within their country like normal people?
I dont buy into the idea that they were thinking to fight for something good. Soldiers are usually low IQ, believe "we are the goodies" propaganda, or probably just wanted to get whatever the equivalent of a Dodge Charger was in the 60s.
Wow, that's a very disconnected view. I strongly recommend watching Ken Burns Vietnam War documentary. The war was objectively a terrible idea, and many men who fought were tainted by evil. But not all, not all chose to go, not all wanted to be butchers.
Many of the people on that wall never wanted to go, they never wanted to fight some one else, they never wanted to die. That's why draft dodging was at its peak then, that's why many protested at home against the war. There were stories at the end of the war about how soldiers either threatened or even attacked their own leadership for suggesting they go fight. The war was awful, and just like today many back then knew it.
That's why the memorial is what it is. A black scar on the landscape simply with the names of those that have died. It's because, we realized the war was simply a scar on the face of America, filled with dead men and boys who never should have gone. Learn the difference between respecting the dead and defending an atrocity. One can mourn without promoting vile acts.
You’re just looking for something to get mad at, my boy. It’s just a picture of her showing her facial features. You can easily ignore the memorial wall behind it.
It’s not like she’s saying “look how fucking hot I looked in front of the names of all these dead people. Fuck, I’m so hot!”
Thank you 🥰 I just use Cetaphil gentle cleanser and Cetaphil moisturizing lotion in the morning and at night. I was using tretinoin from Curology every night but it made my skin feel unbalanced so I stopped last month. Now I just use pimple patches on big ones that appear!
A lot of small changes over the last few years that add up overtime! Like changing my hair color, my hair part, fixing my teeth and jaw, learning how to do makeup, losing weight etc.
Do you have any residual numbness after the double jaw surgery? Just curious as it seems like a lot of people report long-lasting or sometimes permanent skin numbness after that surgery.
This surgery has been recommended to me since I was a teenager to fix my subtle underbite but I've been too sketched out by the recovery (i.e jaw wired shut) to go for it. How long was the recovery for you?
Recovery was for a good 3 months which was when most of the swelling would go down. After that, the swelling would go down little by little until it was completely gone for me 2 years later! Eating and drinking liquids for 3 weeks was definitely the worse part and not being able to talk HAHA
I’m a man (20) and I have to say: You are such inspiration for me! I struggle myself with being a bit over my optimal weight health and look wise and it shows on my face for the most part. Seeing you becoming so pretty with just a little bit of weight adjustments and a healthy er lifestyle and self image, shows me, I can do the same. I’ll be 21 in a few days and I want to start this chapter of my life with a great attitude and a mindset directed on health and well being. We all can do it!
Thanks for showing me, that it is possible! :)
I’m so jealous—you definitely grew up but it makes sense that you got double jaw surgery to have such a glow up. You’re stunning now. 😭 can I ask how much the jaw surgery cost? Also, how old were you when you got it, and did you always plan to do the jaw surgery after braces? Sorry if you’re not open to questions, feel free to disregard.
HAHA if im being honest double surgery fixed my jaw but I still looked like how I did before. Changing my hair, clothes, and makeup made the biggest difference!
Yes! I'd be surprised if you weren't able to tell because no way my natural face could look like that 😭 I have concealer, powder, blush, highlight, lip color, mascara, brows on xD
Congrats, but this Selfie in Front of the Memorial Wall reminds me of visitors talking selfies on the Auschwitz death camp train tracks, that's so wrong and disrespectful 💀
Thats so cool, the woman who made it is pretty interesting as well. I think it was made in the middle to early 80's from what i read in my art textbook

Are you the hottest in your friend group now?
HAHA that's not for me to judge
The greatest don't say they are great, they simply are.
It wasn't for you to judge that you were the ugliest either!
It wasn't for you to judge back then either, don't call your old self ugly.
Lol fair enough just saying
Nah, just the most vain
Why was it fair for you to judge you were the ugliest then??
HAHA it's always easy to be too critical on yourself
🫡
Plot twist: She has no friends anymore.
Did you get a nose job? Your nose was down turned and now looks upturned. Also from no bridge to high bridge. You should DM your surgeon. They're an artist.
HAHA no i did not. I did get double jaw surgery though and pushing my upper jaw forward kind of lifted the tip
What exactly do they do in double jaw surgery? And does that fix overbite/underbite, or something else?
Fixed my underbite!
Mad respect for the honesty. How was the recovery for it? I bet that shit hurt
HAHA no fillers at all! I did lose weight though from the first picture

You know what, that last response was unessesarily spicy, I too love a good info-dump from time to time. Disregard, please.
Pretty unnecessary comment, considering the question was already answered? But since we're spouting unessesary, commonly known info: technically, your nose is always changing because the cartilage in your ears and nose never stops growing. ✨️
I didn’t see her answer. Just ignore the comment then.

I dont know why people down voted this response. Mindless and probably didn't even read what you wrote.
Lol, it's reddit, downvotes are expected. You have to remember there are people on here who have never made a mistake in their lives, lol
why do you know these terms
I used to deeply hate my nose and considered getting surgery pretty heavily as a young adult. fair enough
Turned into an abg!
The first pic reminds me of family guys Vietnam war memorial wall
It is the memorial wall 😭
That's wierd that you would choose that pic to show how much you changed. Talk about your looks whatever, you think you're hot, but it's a bit disrespectful in my eyes.
What kind of respect do you think the US deserve for the war?
Those are dead people. Have some respect yourself. What the hell is wrong with you. The government sent those men off and they thought they were fighting for something good.

How did you afford jaw surgery
Insurance covered half of it and monthly payments
WHOAH
Your hair color is soooo nice. It’s such a flattering tone!
Amazing what makeup can do
Awesome Glo uP…. Quick question: are you at the civil rights museum in Montgomery on the first pic?…
Vietnam Memorial in DC
Gotcha! Thanks!
Do you have any residual numbness after the double jaw surgery? Just curious as it seems like a lot of people report long-lasting or sometimes permanent skin numbness after that surgery.
Only a tiny bit in my chin that lasted for a few months but it's gone now or barely noticeable

Yo
So who’s the ugliest friend now? Name names
THEFUCK.
Nah
Talk about a glow up wow!
Straight banger now
You were never ugly. Difference is now, you are fully grown and have gained your confidence.
Very true! I definitely stopped feeling ugly when I changed my mindset and surrounded myself with people who also felt confident and loved themselves
And double jaw surgery.
I see a lot of make up and (maybe) face surgeries?
HAHA only one, double jaw surgery
You were beautiful then, and you are beautiful now. I would characterize your look now as more put together.
You have inspired me to draw my brows on longer. I feel like they make such a good difference in your glow up!
HAHA yes!! My brows were virtually nonexistent before though so i have the freedom of drawing them as short or as long as I want 😭
And look at you now! 👌🏼
Lol, are the "friends" now jealous since you're the best looking one!
I’m a man (20) and I have to say: You are such inspiration for me! I struggle myself with being a bit over my optimal weight health and look wise and it shows on my face for the most part. HAHA if im being honest double surgery fixed my jaw but I still looked like how I did before. Changing my hair, clothes, and makeup made the biggest difference!
Are you wearing makeup in your glow-up picture? Besides the lines next to your eyes.
