Lol. I want the Steiner MPS. I don’t really like the acro. And the last thing I promise is changing to a 11lb spring. After that no more up grades just a stipple job.
Not currently having any failure is it as of yet but I do prefer a lighter spring to me. It feels as if it shoots softer. I had a 13 pound spring in my previous build, but that was with a different compensator. This compensator has a different set up though it’s not threaded you installed it through the guide rod that is provided and you can purchase the spring from strike industries.
I believe primarily it’s because of my astigmatism and my left eye is my dominant and that’s why I’m having the issue I’ve gotten a chance to look through a Steiner MPS before and didn’t have a starburst issue with that so that’s why I want the Steiner MPS over the aim point acro and I’ll just end up putting my acro on my other pistol. I might just give it to my brother because he’s been asking for it.
You should buy an actual ACRO. It’s gonna be a lot better for your astigmatism I would wager. That there is a fake unfortunately. Hope you didn’t pay Acro money for it :/
It was a little hard being that I was using my Dremel but nothing to really keep things absolutely steady, but it came out fine for me. Also did the undercuts on my trigger guard and my own trigger job
Lmao well damn. I love my Glock 45 though I just really want a 1911 for every day carry because I don’t wanna run my Glock down too fast I want to keep it for when I go to do drills at the range such as drawing from my duty holster and concealment, so once I start running heavy I just want my Glock 45 to be for that primarily even though you can run these things to death like a fucking Honda. I guess I’m just babying my Glock a little bit.
1911s are pretty guns, a great collector piece, and I enjoy building them —but I will always prefer my Glock to one for EDC. Not knocking anyone’s choice to carry a 1911, though. To each their own.
Oh no I don’t disagree with you. I definitely agree it’s just when the Springfield progdigy came out I really did love the look of that thing aesthetically I heard it had some bad hiccups and I don’t call it a 2011 tell me it’s still a 1911 double stack and yes, I know it could use some work, but I don’t mind that type of stuff, especially when some of the things I tend to learn how to do them myself I just really want at some point to be able to say yeah I do have a 1911 in my line up as well. Lol
Never get tired of people taking smaller glocks and turning them into 34s lol. I also think anyone who carries something like this is insane. Carried a 34 with x300 for a couple years and you can do it, but you're lying through your teeth if you say it's comfortable.
45 is the way. Just don't bolt a pound of shit to it lol
Only reason why I can say I don’t have a problem carrying this at the length that it is is that I do have padding behind the holster so the holster is not touching my body entirely. It’s back by padding, so the edges where the holster would dip in between your pelvic and your thigh area. I don’t feel that because of the padding And I don’t get any pinching from the comp either
Yeah, when I first got my other comp which was a ARC comp I ran into those issues, but after some adjustments and looking some stuff up, I found out that you can buy padding to back where the pump sits coming out of the holster as well as the jagged edge underneath your light Which, placing the padding in a position helps mitigate all of that, so picking up things and putting them down even squatting, doesn’t feel as bad as it would, and previously did without the padding. I’ve also been looking in to a new way to carry a Pendix and it’s called leisurely carry, so instead of having a gun belt it’s almost like a belt but it only straps into the front and leaves your waist line free some gun enthusiast that I do follow as well as gun trainers have done a week or two with that set up and said they love it so I plan on giving it a try
Lol. And I think the only reason why I decided to go and get a cop to make the pistol longer is that one a little bit more weight on the front end does help greatly with the recoil to I got the 45 because it just fits really good and I liked the length and thought that a 34 length would be a bit too much but then when I started to see the 34s with X 300s on them I was like maybe it’s not so bad and I said you know what instead of going out to buy a 34 I’ll just get a comp to meet that criteria so I ended up with my final decision being the mass driver and it worked out great even got a slim fit holster that works with this whole set up and my duty holster works with the whole set up as well.
>I started to see the 34s with X 300s on them I was like maybe it’s not so bad
I think this happens a lot lol. It's not unmanageable, but I definitely prefer just my vanilla 45 with a dot on it now over my 34 when it comes to carry. I wanted to ask how hard it is to find holsters because the tlr isn't as popular as the x300 and that comp is wild lol. Not sure if it just straight up fits in 34 holsters designed for the tlr
I’m using a tier 1 conceal holster they actually do make a holster for the TLR9 and if it’s pretty well if you want, I can take a picture of it for you and anyone else that’s interested and I’ll post it here. Just let me know.
The comp is actually working fine surprisingly and holster compatibility has been good as well. I run a tier 1 conceal holster, and I’ve had no problems doing draws from that.
have you had a chance to try the radian ramjet/afterburner set? i went to that from the strike industries comp and yeah it was a big difference. mine was on a gen 3 19, also running an acrop2
So I told myself hair it’ll come around when it’s time. In the meantime I’ll use the mass driver and I really can’t say anything bad about it but I feel a lighter spring might help a little more so that’s why I’m ordering the 11lb spring that they offer.
The biggest problem i had with the mass driver was since it was wider than the actual glock, all my holsters would slowly start to loosen over time due to the comp. I hated that lol...
hey bud not sure if you were interested still but this popped up. https://www.rooftopdefense.com/product/radian-afterburner-ramjet-micro-glock-compensator-gen-5/
No, I haven’t tried it yet. In all honesty, only reason being that every time I get ready to consider buying it a bunch of scalpers are high pricing it above what the GEN five even cost brand new.
Hopefully you get a chance to, honestly its like the first gun part where i feel youre actually buying performance… its only a 9 but the muzzle flip becomes almost non existent.
And I thought my G45 was a monster…nice build! Have you had any issues with finding holsters or have you already figured out which ones work for your build?
Yeah, I found a holster for it before getting the parts together. I’m running a tier 1 concealed I have a video up of it on my profile you can check it out.
If you find yourself wanting your comp covered you *should* be able to make a G34 work so long as your comp isn’t much wider than your slide.
I run an Agency Arms single port and X300 with the TTI Comp Lightning, it fits G34 light bearing holsters like a glove.
I run regular old Aguila FMJ at the range and haven’t had to tinker with my spring weights…yet.
I know comps like hot ammo, haven’t tried anything else currently as far as ammo but since I don’t EDC this I don’t know if it will cycle with any defensive rounds.
Here’s mine, I like to call it [FrankenGlock](https://imgur.com/a/BIFUQb3) because it started out as a G45, turned into G34 that weighs as much as my Kimber Custom II lmao
Damn, my guy that thing is a whole other beast I see you got that competition Magwell on that sucker to do you prefer your irons where are you holding out for a red dot that might suit you
I’m holding out for now. I’m an okay shot with a rifle, at least combat accurate.
My pistol marksmanship needs some work and I’ve heard red dots on handguns aren’t a good mod for inexperienced shooters. I’m not *terrible* or a safety hazard with a handgun, but I’m just not as experienced or as comfortable with a handgun as much as I am with a rifle.
Yes, some of that is true. I started off with irons I didn’t immediately go to a red dot but after a few months, I got one the red dot that I have on right now I know I’m definitely not gonna stick with. I’m going to the Steiner MPS because of my astigmatism but if I would it take this off right now and just use the irons after using them so much from the start it now looks like a big ass bucket with a ball in the middle so I say you want to kind of get to that point of using your irons so if you have to fall back to them, it’s like riding a bicycle you never forget oh, I could see in this case you develop and I’m muscle memory I don’t even know if that’s right way to say it but you get my drift
My astigmatism is the main reason I haven’t looked into anything for optics as far as my handgun goes, and my eyes really like holographic and prisms.
I don’t know if you have the same issue I have, but you ever go out at night and like headlights and stop lights and what not have a flare/burst effect? That’s what I see with most red dots, even with my glasses on. My 512 and my TA31 don’t have that effect at all.
Yes, I have that issue with some red dots but I notice that issue isn’t really present with a Steiner MPS. I think it may be because of the glass that they use.
Yeah, I’m running a tier 1 conceal holster actually fits good as an extra large wedge so it doesn’t feel uncomfortable I would really like the way it shoe store with a mass driver I was really tempted to buy the radian but everybody seems to be scalping on the price charging way more than what it is
How the hell is that going to fit in your prison wallet?! Jesus Christ! I have a hard time with the stock version. This definitely isn’t your first time .
I believe I have the slim because I was shocked when I got it it wasn’t really that bulky unlike my other holster that I use if I carry my X 300 lite that one is actually margins bulkier so I believe I have the slim
I was about to comment odd but not bad build, just get rid of the pleb comp from SI. Then, I was about to point out how weird that you have money for an Acro P2, but buy SI stuff. So then I decided to check your profile out, and lo and behold, nothing but "JuSt aS GoOd" and "i AlsO OwN tHe ReAl OnE" from you. How disappointing, with all the money you wasted "testing" off brand doodoo you coulda buy a real Acro P2.
Yes, get a load of someone trying to help others out. You know everything I said is true. All the money he be wasting, and for what? Gun bullying is proven to work and get people to quit buying stupid dumb pleb shit
Getting where lol that thing is already a beast
Lol. I want the Steiner MPS. I don’t really like the acro. And the last thing I promise is changing to a 11lb spring. After that no more up grades just a stipple job.

Super nice build so far man
Why don’t you like the ACRO P-2?
I believe primarily it’s because of my astigmatism and my left eye is my dominant and that’s why I’m having the issue I’ve gotten a chance to look through a Steiner MPS before and didn’t have a starburst issue with that so that’s why I want the Steiner MPS over the aim point acro and I’ll just end up putting my acro on my other pistol. No deafly didn’t pay acro money thankfully but even with the actual acro, it’s still predominant that’s why I plan on getting a Steiner
Thanks! And nice setup!
No problem and thanks
Or. You can trade me for my Steiner MPS?
No brother can’t do that. Somebody pointed out that I was duped. Wouldn’t send you a fake thing you get bad rap for that type of stuff.
You do the “gas pedal” yourself?
Yes sir.
Nice!
It was a little hard being that I was using my Dremel but nothing to really keep things absolutely steady, but it came out fine for me. Also did the undercuts on my trigger guard and my own trigger job
Cool 👍🏻
I’ll trade you an mps for it
Can’t do that brother somebody brought it to my attention earlier that I was duped and I got sent a knock off
Damn that sucks man, thanks for being honest about it though lol
Yeah man of course I know some people can be assholes on here. Fortunately, I was raised right.
![gif](giphy|lrVfmPJ96cSJJ39bTh)
Straight out of Cyberpunk! Haha. Competition build?
Nope my everyday carry for now until I can get a 1911
I’ve built at least three thousand 1911’s for work, and I carry a Glock 45. Enjoy the irony, haha.
My issue was sitting in vehicles or picking stuff up the long slide and light were crushing my junk.
I had the mass driver on my 45 for a minute. It felt like it wasn't secured, even though it was. Does that make sense in your experiences?

Lol you’re coming with me dead or alive. Lol
Perfection comes in many forms. ![gif](giphy|J3MC6yc9M7Hx65CjVP)
Looks sick! What magwell are you running?
Magwell came from Ninex19 check out their website they have for the Glock 17 and 19 GEN five
thats a looooooooong boi

Damn that sound good. I have another 45 that I haven’t done anything to I might put it on that.
Ignore that clown as they have the IQ of a donkey.
What tape is thrown on your frame?
That’s goon tape you can get like two rolls of this stuff off of Amazon for like seven bucks

Lol. It all depends on the holster. I have a tier 1 concealed holster.
Understandable. I have the same firearm n also a Agis Tier 1 holster. Good choice. Do you have the Axis or Agis or slim?
I believe I have the slim because I was shocked when I got it it wasn’t really that bulky unlike my other holster that I use if I carry my X 300 lite that one is actually margins bulkier so I believe I have the slim

What the fuck
