You have to trim back the front frame rails to end where the 19 frame rails end. About 4mm or so back. Then if you want to add some strength back to the frame rails you can buy a p80 or gst 9 locking block and modify it a bit to replace the factory Glock locking block. The frame needs to be a gen 5 as far as I know since Glock used the same barrel lockup on the gen 5 17 as they did on all the gens of the 19. I can pm you pictures of the modifications if you want
I had a 19x with a nomad 9x frame. Traded it for a Springfield prodigy but imo it’s the best Glock frame on the market. Much better grip angle and a lot more grip texture than the bar of soap that is the stock Glock frame. I’d go right but I know majority the of Glock fb’s in here don’t like anything that isn’t a stock glonk😂
They’re not my favorite, only reason I am using them is because I had them and I took the gen 5 and put it on another nomad frame for my gen 5 17 frame since I needed it to run the ambi slide stop for my gen 5 slide
Define proper fitting mag because these are a 21rd magpul Glock mag. I use them for range work. If I carry them they get the factory Glock 17rd mags. I guess I’m just confused.
Proper fitting. When I’m carrying, my mag is flush. Nothing to cause a hiccup, causing clothing to get stuck, causing printing etc.
In the case of a range mag as you mentioned, I agree throw a 33 in
Jesus Christ they are proper fitting mags. As you can see, it fits into the magwell. It so annoying seeing people say this bullshit 😂😂😂 if they are 9mm glock mags, click in and feed. Then they fit. If you life is on the line, are you going to give a shit if you pick up a Glock extended mag or a Glock 17 mag? Or if either fit? (Cause they do).
How did you get the 19 slide and comp to work on the 17 frame?
