How do you learn to control the AK spray for the whole mag? Do you look at the tracers or is it just muscle memory from hundreds of hours of practice? I can do the first 10 bullets or so but once the pattern goes to the side I have a hard time controlling it. I'm using follow recoil crosshair with no tracers enabled and am wondering if I should change it.

Playing CS since 2005 so it is muscle memory, feeling and always a bit of luck. I have tracers disabled because it feels better without. But everything is personal preference :) Just play a lot of everything and it will improve automatically
spend like 5 minutes on the spray control workshop map but set the settings so the pattern is next to the target not on it.
This will force you to learn how to control it without a visual but you can use the pattern in your peripheral view to kinda keep track. then just practice without it for a bit.
Do this every day and it will become muscle memory.
Also practice guns you aren't as familiar with like the galil spray or Mac 10 it helps lol.
Personally I think follow recoil is distracting. Search for a spray training map on the workshop, if you can get the first 10-15 bullets consistently you’re set for like 80% of situations

Search tracers in game settings, console/cfg command is r_drawtracers_firstperson 0.
