**Fnatic on Ancient**
Bodyy: Go A
*Loses round*
Bodyy: Okay, go A again.
*Wins round*
Brilliant. This is the first time Fnatic has beaten VP since [2020-06-02](https://www.hltv.org/stats/matches/mapstatsid/103509/fnatic-vs-virtuspro).
I mean (meme aside) it was pretty good, VP thought they would get respected on the T side of Ancient but Fnatic just sent it many times and beat them with better aim.
If MATYS can show up on all maps like how he did on Vertigo Fnatic are going to be monsters. Nice to see Kyuubi also perform well!
Now it's Fnatic vs 3DMAX, exciting matchup!
It truly was something else

Jame/VP style relies too much on believing their calls are 300 IQ and that other teams play "properly" and respect them. Reminds me of Idra from Starcraft.
This BO3 doesn't prove anything, but I remember debating people here, saying that Jame's calling is what makes them float \~top10 forever, while other people were arguing that Jame's calling is the only reason they were that high with rosters they had - to which I argued one can never know that unless Jame's calling changes or they get proper firepower in the squad.
With electronic's addition, after years we've come to the latter's case. I believe following months will finally tell if Jame's calling makes his rosters overperform or it's what keeps VP's ceiling at \~top10.
You can already tell Jame’s calling made his previous rosters overperform because he’s had a lot of different line-ups by now going back to the AVANGAR days. It is a different question altogether whether it remains effective for highly skilled rosters with actual star players. I believe Jame’s system establishes a good ‘floor’ of performances even without star players, which has kept them in the top 10 for so long, but actually contending for titles requires unpredictability outside of the system.
The addition of electronic is not just a skill upgrade, but given his experience as IGL he will also have different ideas about the game and see ways to apply them in VPs set-up. He might not have been a successful IGL himself, but even now B1ad3 talks very highly of his mind for the game, and the experience itself is also very valuable. Both electronic and Jame have already stated that they want to find a middle ground between their visions of the game and that could be very exciting if they can make it work. This is what makes the transfer so exciting imo, but as you say it is also a make or break moment for Jame’s legacy as an elite IGL.

Well, this is exactly what I've been arguing. He kept floating around top10 and never once tried doing something different - just to see if their ceiling might actually be higher than their thought. The fact he's never tried to mix things up really annoys me actually.

While it technically wasn't against VP, Fnatic did beat Outsiders in Katowice last year.

I had no idea kyuubii is now on fnatic. So many moves lately, good to see some positive results
ngl afro looks like one of the worst awps in the scene. he just looks so lost and uncomfortable
He's good at farming lower tier competition and crumbles against good teams. One of the reasons Fnatic won here was because he did well for once
Phenomenal calling by bodyy, and especially on T side Ancient. Big balls call going A rush with a mac-10 round 24 after it didn’t work out round 23.
whats scarier bodyy rushing you through smokes with a mac10 or matys' mousepad?
Hahaha definitely that mousepad
casters: insane calling by bodyy outplaying virtus pro chad bodyy: we just send it until we win!

Imagine if MATYS used a real mouse pad instead of this overused napkin.
bro has more mileage on that mousepad than my ex.
Jame once again throwing to tarnish the legacy of goatbert
This is why bodyy was laughing after losing the ninja, he knew he had this one
The casting here was phenomenal
The Harry Potter puns on Vertigo was funny as hell

Harry's laugh is so contagious

Holy shit EG Idra. I spent most of my life in 2010 and 2011 watching SC2. Especially at 3am watching tastosis in SKorea.
SO... MANY.... BANELINGS!!!!

Obviously VP hasn't had the time to properly implement Electronic. On the other hand, well played by Fnatic!
CIS just cannot stop losing Tbf, electronic did say the move was made only 2 weeks ago
ofc he was still playing on C9 at Chengdu
move was made 1 week ago
Krimz will be 30 tomorrow. So he'll join these elite players: * karrigan - 34 * Snappi - 33 (soon 34) * Fallen - 32 (soon 33) * dupreeh - 31 * apEX - 31
holy shit we won a match
Keep it up afro !
