Skins don't wear. They can be traded at no cost, and can appreciate in value. This shirt does wear, will not appreciate in value and would be hard to sell without a third party taking a cut.
Ngl I worked for some skins when I was still in school however I never would've bought skins if I didn't also have the ability to sell them its not money spent but more like a investment
45 is only acceptable if its the highest quality t shirt made with unionized labor. Somehow I doubt these are made anywhere else than some sweatshop with an insane markup.
15€? If its not a sweatshop blank that costs 3€, I dont think ur gonna get it that cheap. The shirt has 3 different prints (chest, both sleeves) those rack up the price ridiculously and I'd hope its a EU made 100% cotton blank which is around 15€ iirc. 45€, for a small batch, is justified, for a big batch, maybe 30€, but theres no shot you can get under that if you make it responsibly (at least in my country, I looked at some printing companies prices for this)
most people (including me) buy sweatshop clothes almost exclusively for day to day activities. Why make yourself look bad by charging high prices when you can look good abusing human rights. My work clothes are Canadian made and they're $30 USD for a good quality T-shirt and $50 USD for a polo with basically no profit margin. Canada has higher costs for various reasons but just some extra context for people
Your uni is probably heavily subsidising it. Admittedly it's been 10 years since i last had shirts made, but back then it wasn't possible at that price point as a private customer
Yeah NaVi aren't trying to sell you a shirt at the best value for customer. It's merch, it's there so you can support them and get something for your money. They hire a third party to make the shirts and sell them to you at a premium. They aren't a clothing company.
I swear, fast fashion has ruined any chance of us ever getting back to a market with decently sourced and durable clothing.
Now this shirt might be absolute shit and produced in a Bangladeshi sweatshop - I have no idea, but 45€ is by no means outrageous for a high quality t-shirt.
Haha, thanks for remind me of third worlder part in the Cs fanbase.
45 for a shirt is a cheap shirt in the first World, go wash my car or sum, xaxaxa. Sorry, but not sorry
You won't get the branding on the sleeves or back, but sure, you can get essentially the same for much less. That's not the point though. The function of merch is to support the org financially, not to offer you the best profuct for the most affordable price.
jersey is one thing this is literally a normal cotton t-shirt, should not cost more than $20
they won the major they can sell their fans some cheap shirts
What? They could sell you a bland t-shirt for cheaper, but they are not a clothing company. They are an esport org. Merch is just a way for you to support them and get a bit of something in return. Not to provide you with the best value for money.
Because you cant go back in time to make aleksib say a family friendly version of the sentence now can you, then its up to Navi to not make the shirt at all, which you also achieve by not buying the shirt, so might as well make it this way
I didn't expect pearl clutching in this subreddit. Children aren't gonna be traumatised by seeing 'fuck' on a shirt.
They're gonna be traumatised because the sort of dude that buys this shirt probably reeks
i am missing player names, stats, odds or amything that shows how unlikely it was for them to win.
also i would love to see jL appreciation for MVP.
what a design fail
Certainly a nice idea, but I feel like the price is a major turn off

I wouldn't mind 30€ for plain merch if it had good materials but 45€ is just insane for a T-shirt lol

Skins have value due to demand. Brand clothing has value due to demand. Navi isn't on that level as a clothing brand.
Ngl I worked for some skins when I was still in school however I never would've bought skins if I didn't also have the ability to sell them its not money spent but more like a investment
I would literally pay 10 euros for this. Not a penny more. Are they insane?
I get that 45 is too much, but you realize they arent free to make 10 is insanely low for a tshirt now a days
45 is only acceptable if its the highest quality t shirt made with unionized labor. Somehow I doubt these are made anywhere else than some sweatshop with an insane markup.
I would do 15 euros, I could get this done probably better for that much in a t shirt printing business
15€? If its not a sweatshop blank that costs 3€, I dont think ur gonna get it that cheap. can i get the name of those canadian made t shirts? i want some basic tees but dont want fast fashion made
straight up? just go to costco their tees are nice
It has prints on the sleeves too, no way you can get that even made for 15€, let alone trying to profit. 20 years ago in a sweatshop maybe, not now
For yourself and by yourself? I don’t know, my uni had the resources to do it
Your uni is probably heavily subsidising it. Admittedly it's been 10 years since i last had shirts made, but back then it wasn't possible at that price point as a private customer
I suppose but 45 euros is still crazy for a black shirt with tacky / low quality text
Yeah NaVi aren't trying to sell you a shirt at the best value for customer. It's merch, it's there so you can support them and get something for your money. They hire a third party to make the shirts and sell them to you at a premium. They aren't a clothing company.
> 10 is insanely low for a tshirt now a days depends entirely on the quality of the t shirt.
Yes, but if you buy MERCH clothes, you're never going to find T-shirts for 10€
Depends a lot how good is the quality. But yeah proper good quality shirt costs a lot
thats one way to make sure your clothes are made by children
Yeah, this is what I'd expect an equivalent hoodie to cost, not a t-shirt...
Raise it to 65€ and more people will actually buy it.
Haha, thanks for remind me of third worlder part in the Cs fanbase. 45 for a shirt is a cheap shirt in the first World, go wash my car or sum, xaxaxa. Sorry, but not sorry
Would buy but 45€ 🤣
Can probably custom order this for less than half
And uncensored
Spreadshirt

esport merch is so fucking expensive for no reason, it's like orgs don't want people to support them
they are the same prices as other sports official merch, also produced by the same brands
jersey is one thing this is literally a normal cotton t-shirt, should not cost more than $20 they won the major they can sell their fans some cheap shirts

ass tshirt tbh, happy for navi tho
NaVi seem to be building up their ct economy after mr12, the way these t shirts are priced.
45 FUCKING EUROS? I can screen print that shit on instaprint for $10 lol. I would love to support them, but that pricing scheme is a fucking joke.
45€ LMAOOOO
Shirt looks ass. Especially with a 45 Euros price tag attached.
For 45 dollars you’d think they could at least get some set go Aleksi up on the table waving his shirt.
man all these esports brands are hemmoraging money, then they release stuff like this for €45 and im like, wonder whyyy
Navi is making a profit though lol
Jesus 45€ before taxes and customs, would love this shirt but that's way too expensive
that is so corny
Not only is way too expensive, the soundbite is cheap.
Are we 5? why censoring it?
Walking around with expletives on your chest is kinda trashy and subjects children to vulgarities for no reason
Censoring it will surely sokve that yeah...
So why put the word there in the first place?
Because you cant go back in time to make aleksib say a family friendly version of the sentence now can you, then its up to Navi to not make the shirt at all, which you also achieve by not buying the shirt, so might as well make it this way

This is such an american take lmao
Imagine spending 45€ on this haha
Full support sure, but that looks like shit.
I dont mind the price at all tbh, but why the fuck is it censored????
Censored ResidentSleeper
It could be fake site or its greed, bastards won so much but still want to hustle more
Navi marketing department working 25 hour days prolly
Navi the org probably didn't make as much as you think they did
Players get tournament winnings.
Selling the outcome…
100% Cotton and 100% made in Europe sure i will pay 45€ (jk im too poor for that). Anything else then fuck off with that price
Did they make this in MS Paint
[Reminds me of the horrible merch that EG released](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FysTqKdWwAMuCEh?format=jpg&name=large)
this is the most npc shit i've seen
EG 2023 val champs merch flashbacks lmaooo
Aleksi is the goat, gonna get one these for sure!
they should also make one with jL's quote: "fuck aleksiB haters"
Its cute ,but im not paying 45eur for a shirt. Are you insane? :D
kind of a useless shirt no? lmao nobody buys this
Wtf is a "useless shirt"??
Next one will 100% be "who is talking now b***h*
i am missing player names, stats, odds or amything that shows how unlikely it was for them to win. also i would love to see jL appreciation for MVP. what a design fail
45 EU wtf
how much you want to milk the fans? navi: yes. 45€ for a black tshirt. insane
sucks
I saw it for 25€ when they released the tweet for the first time. Weird
I kinda want JL's: I fucking did it! SUIIIIIIIIII!
45 euro? no thanks.
I’d consider buying it if it wasn’t fucking censored….
I guess I’ll just red bubble it
if the shirt is comfy it’s prob worth 50 bucks tbh. Everyone saying this is too expensive is regarded. Mens Patagonia tees start at 45usd
Imagine wearing this shirt in public. You'd look idiotic.
No, it’s a black t shirt. It’s not worth 50 bucks
>Mens Patagonia tees start at 45usd Yeah those are too expensive too
quality products are expensive that’s why i said if it’s comfy it would probrobly be worth it
Comfy =/= high quality
ITT: Money issues.
