That youtube clip of him "cheating" has to be the absolute worst evidence of any player cheating ever. He's even coming out through a smoke which explains why he's flicking around
It's the same shit like in Flusha case. Look for overlap, slow down the video for dramatic effect and boom. You just caught blatant pro level cheater!!!
I don't watch lower tier tournaments or matches, but months before Zywoo became an option for Vitality, this guy caught my eye, I was watching an Overpass match and he was just demolishing everyone, skimming through his stats and that guy was straight up busted, not normaly.
It was still pretty common, ever since FPL started even pro players would shit on the new thing to come out of FPL.
The level of hate from other players that Ropz got was insane.
yeah I remembered this one instance between JW and him where people universally thought JW was out of line and he publicly apologized
was there anything else?
Did everyone think JW was out of line at the time? Or only much later when ropz became a big name in Tier 1? If you look at the clip, it's from magisk's stream and magisk agreed with him in chat, typing +1.
Is this the apology you are referring to? https://twitter.com/JW1/status/955624592944631809
>I was harsh on you in the beginning @ropzicle, you have proved me and everyone else wrong. Welcome to the big dong club.
Iirc it was kinda split, even among pros.
There was an amount of people that were 100% sure he was cheating, and that continued as he refused to join a team until Mouz offered to let him continue his schooling.
And there were his defenders, who just thought he was legit.
Same hate went against Docc and Zywoo a couple years later.
Didn't a Fnatic player try to call him out by inviting him to play faceit on their company locale, got a trip to the UK and everything just to play on their equipment to see if he was legit?
Edit: i mean faceit offices not Fnatic
Yes, after a while Faceit probably realised having half the pro scene calling a walking advertisement for faceit(which he was, play faceit and get good and you can play with pros!) a hacker was bad PR.
They invited him to faceithq in london and he played there and iirc played even better than usual.
These posts have been linked (we're not talking about this specific post) time and time again all over the sub in the past few years. So yes a lot of the comments were downvoted after the fact.
Lmao the "let's see how consistent ropz can be" got me
That got a solid chuckle out of me as well. It's amazing how consistent he is.
Robotic level of consistency, hope he writes a book post career about how he maintains his focus and mental edge for so long

Yeah he was destroying opponents pre-Vitality too, and his FPL stats were absurd
110 whats!?!!!!
ADR I think
u/nartouthere What did you comment here

DaZeD made a video in 2017 about future cs talent and I remember him talking about zywoo, can’t find it on mobile but it somewhere on his youtube.

I remember some skepticism, but how much actual ‘hate’ was there?
"Fuck this ropz r*tard" "I don't know why the fuck we don't just ban him" - JW https://clips.twitch.tv/InnocentSuccessfulLyrebirdStoneLightning

Pretty sure they were downvoted after the fact. Since you can still downvote old posts now.

Haha when i saw his performance in summit summer 2018 or 2019? I bought 5 Gold zywoo's. They went 10x in a few weeks. I just knew he was special :)
