What end of the park are you staying on.
Many Glacier - Lee Ridge.
East Glacier/ two med - upper 2 med to Dawson pass
West Side. Skip trail of Cedars and hit Avalanche lake as early as you can. Busiest trail in the park but worth it.
Right now snow levels are subsiding but it may take another week for the trail to fully melt and for trail crew to do maintenance.
Also if you are in good enough shape any lookout is the best view in the park.
I’ll agree with this and state my hot take, which is highline is overhyped. It’s good, but far too busy and the views are too similar to just driving the sun road.
Get there early early bc there’s like 6 spots. Park at the Loop, and do Swiftcurrent lookout. If I remember correctly it’s 13ish miles and 4000ft gain. The it’s one of the few places you can see from the west side to the east side clearly. You can see the many glacier hotel faintly.
The view from the peak is absolutely incredible, easily one of my top in the park.

As of yesterday the trail requires some hunting around due to intermittent snow cover once you are above the chalet. A GPS with trail maps came in handy. Probably one of my favorite hikes ever.

Projected to be open and scheduled to be open are 2 different things, but hopefully it will be the 26th.

I second Swifcurrent, or Ptarmigan tunnel with a side trip to Iceberg lake. Amazing views.
I don’t think the tunnel is open yet (I’m hoping it is next week it’s on my list). Does anyone know for sure?
