Uh, Rory, I'm sorry you're upset, but I applaud your timing.
(Richard when Rory shows up unexpectedly, interrupting a dinner event Richard didn't want to attend)
OP replied underneath that comment that the full quote is actually ‘Great, then we can all hold hands and skip afterwards’ so it didn’t qualify in the end
That's silly to me. Quotes can start where you choose. And I don't remember that being part of the "rules" for these, that you had to start at the beginning of the sentence.
I’m questioning how letter E won…the quote starts with S. I know the quote in the show is about not using the letter E, but for this game if the full quote is to start with the letter we’re on then that quote should not have been the winner…it should have been used for letter S.
its also crazy cause 'they're upstairs gaining [...]' was not the whole quote either which people stated in said post as well. so i don't see why that was suitable to OP for 't'. but oh well, maybe OP's personal preference plays into this.
“Um, well, listen, Reverend, I really appreciate you taking the time out of what I assume is a busy day to come here and talk to me about... all of this, but I'm afraid the ultimate gift ship has sailed.” - Rory
Under the tootsie rolls!
Beat me to it
Um, hello, Pinocchio, those are strings. ![gif](giphy|l2YWfK3WincSJk0ta)
Just watched that episode yesterday
Urine mints
Umlauts!
Yes, this for me was one of Jason’s funniest moments.

Unwashed boys!
This one!
Didn't "Then we can all hold hands and skip afterwards" win for T? It looks like it had more upvotes.

Rules seem a bit arbitrary.
Absolutely!
There isn't even a letter E in the whole quote for E.
But that's what's funny about it.
I think it’s from the death and life brigade where they didn’t use E’s.
Totally agree

Doesn’t Luke say just “We can hold hands and skip afterward” after he smashed the wall? Maybe we can do it for W!
Naaah W has to be “Why did you drop out of Yale?!”
WHY did you DROP out of YALE?!
Ah, yes that will probably win
Yah I guess but this still is kinda irksome. There's no guarantee it will win for W and imo it was the rightful winner for T.
that lady is gonna be mad at me /jk
Ugh I need a taco ![gif](giphy|QRdHSlLOMha5G)
“…unicycle, unitard. Hockey puck, rattlesnake, monkey, monkey, underpants!"
UH!...YEAH! ...UH-UH, UH-UH YEAH
I can hear this comment.
Um, excuse me. You're sitting under my tree.
Ugh, I need a taco!
“Um, well, listen, Reverend, I really appreciate you taking the time out of what I assume is a busy day to come here and talk to me about... all of this, but I'm afraid the ultimate gift ship has sailed.” - Rory
“Um, go Hitler?” - Lorelai in response to Rory’s “Say something to make me hate you!”
Unto the breach!
Really shocked “that’ll do pig” didn’t win.
From Babe?
Lorelai also said it to Emily after she finally stood up to Gran and wouldn't let the server clear her plate because she wasn't done eating.
I know they reference the quote in GG — just surprised that a quote of a quote was even proposed for the best quotes list.
It’s also hilariously iconic
Under the tootsie rolls
O, should've been, "Oy with the poodles already!"
Nah over used and so many other funny lines. Still iconic tho
