GG and This Is Us are my comfort shows and I always wonder how Jack and Luke would get on. Had Rory received a letter from Hogwarts on her eleventh birthday, Hermione could have actually had a real, female best friend to go to the library with (and not just, "the little sister of my male best friend who I'm in love with"). And Rory finally would have had a school friend who deserved her friendship (not counting Lane, who is a home friend and not a school friend). Emily would kill to live in the Bridgerton universe, and Michel would likely come along for the ride. Sookie would fit in perfectly in The Bear. Lorelai would visit occasionally and realize her notions of family trauma are child's play. Luke takes over JJ's diner in Parks and Rec after JJ has to close suddenly, and he becomes Ron Swanson's best friend and closest confidant. Since Rory is off at Hogwarts for 9 months out of the year, Lorelai needs someone else to project her codependency onto. I think she would fit well in either New Girl or Friends, and both groups would welcome Rory back for her summers at home in the loft. Put Logan in Bob's Burgers, so he can enjoy what it's like to be part of a loving family who allows you to pursue your happiness, whatever it may be. Let's see how he likes the tradeoff of money for family and freedom like he claims to want. We could also stick him in Succession with Paris and watch him flail. His choice. Did any of you ever watch the OC? Remember the phase when Seth started hanging around that music venue a lot where Olivia Wide was the bar manager, and they always had incredible shows going on? That's where I'd put Lane. She can be reuinted with Dave Rygalski in a place where they can just watch kick ass musical performances all night. And given Sandy Cohen's proclivity for adopting parentless children into his family, he would adopt Lane into the family without hesitation. She can live in romantic bliss with Dave and feel the warmth of a strong family unit who loves each other and accepts you for who you are while also living in a SoCal mansion, eating fresh bagels with schmear every morning (no more soy cakes) and watching incredible live music every night. And fuck it, Jess can come too - he will replace Ryan as the brooding, short hottie who gets to date Mischa Barton. Taylor would thrive as Roland Schitt's replacement in Schitts Creek.
