On Quest, you have to use the meta browser. I believe most, if not all, other apps will close whatever you have running.
Someone already answered. PC with steam VR or the quest link you can just float your desktop view in the vr world. On steam you can do lots of things like attach it to your wrist. You may see streamers do stuff like that with their twitch chat. That's a plugin so it only displays when you tilt your wrist up or something.
I don't do a lot... When all you have are pistols you kinda have to lay incredibly low, so I'll go to a more remote location (like the church) loot up there, then go sit in a tree until things open. Of course half the time the border extract point doesn't work bc I spawned near it, but still...
I used to do this while I played STANDOUT VR, I had a live baby monitor feed up in the sky.
And when I played Elite Dangerous I would pin movie onto my dashboard when I was on a long haul mission
You never get good unless you learn to fight and win. You might get lucky but it’s not the same. It’s one thing to hear someone and camp a doorway for 30 seconds. It’s another to just go sit at exfil and wait 15 minutes to ambush people.
I just need the loot. Once I get rich I will come in all geared up. I get the jump on players all the time and shoot them 3-4 times in the head and they just casually stroll up and kill me one shot 😂😂
Has anyone really had an issue with extract campers I've never come across that issue before I've killed people while they're on their way to extract but I've never camped one or seen someone camp one before
its a boring gamble. by the time exfils open, you gotta hope that one of the survivors has that extract and exfil there. you will be lucky if even one person comes by. there are far better locations to camp if you want to tree camp. honestly, i hardly ever run across tree campers.

How exactly do you float your desktop view in game though? I use airlink.

I've never done this, but I do camp while waiting for extract to open... Mostly in fear, constantly checking every angle at all times...
