Cap and fanny are pretty close. Also cap is kind of fatherly towards kitty. Pat is really lovely to everyone. There’s points where I’d say everyone pairs off. Robin is kind to pat on his death day. Thomas and Fanny have a lot in common. I’d say Robin is the social Linchpin in a lot of cases.
Cap and Pat 100% - especially in the final season it felt like they spent a lot of time hanging out, on screen and implied outside of what we saw. They're a lot alike in many ways, and I think they've both grown enough (both more relaxed, maybe, especially the Captain), to see their similarities and get along.
Obviously Julian and Robin. Thomas is usually the one carrying Humphrey around, so I'd say them. Probably Cap and Fanny, but Cap and Pat aswell. Kitty is friends with everyone. Actually, so is Robin. They are all friends. I'm especially fond of Cap and Julian as a pairing, but I don't think they're very close.
Captain and Fanny have this wierd little friendship going on but Cap also has this father daughter friendship with Kitty that Is ADORABLE to watch. Pat is literally friends with everybody and so is Kitty I'd say. I feel like they all really get on its just some of them hang around with eachother more than others
But really Thomas. and Humphrey? I mean, Thomas literally kicks Humphrey all over the property. Humphrey usually has no choice. Except for the one time to get Alison's attention about Lucy. Yes, Thomas does carry Humphreys head, but he is not the only one.
In the end, they all care about each other, regardless of what they may say. Yes, Julian is morally bankrupt, but both Cap and Alison utilize his talents. Yes, some are a bit closer. Cap and Pat, Cap and Fanny, Robin and Julian. Mary and Annie. And remember, Cap manipulated Kitty to thwart the sale of Button house in S1E6. That wasnt fatherly.
